I was delayed by the holidays...... stuff like Hanukkah, dinner parties, Christmas Eve services, family time, etc. My point is that church types use the Gregorian calendar to make references to Jewish Biblical times and events and prophecies. Please remember the Bible is a Jewish document - written BY Jews, FOR Jews and ABOUT Jews - especially the One called King. There is a vast difference between the Gregorian calendar and the Jewish calendar. This is WHY every single faux church prophet is wrong about his or her predictions. They simply don't know what time it is. They are so wrong you can put money on their failures....and win every time. The Jewish calendar is a lunar/solar calendar, meaning months are based upon cycles of the moon. Years are adjusted to the annual seasons based on the earth's rotation around the sun. Bear in mind that Jews were following their calendar for thousands of years while Europeans sat in the dark not knowing one season from another (astronomically speaking). In certain years, a leap month is added so that the years' length coordinated with the seasons. This is different from the Islamic calendar, which is strictly a lunar calendar, and from the Christian/Gregorian calendar, which is a solar calendar (which also requires minor tweaking). This is also why Easter/Pesach falls on different months and days each year. The current Jewish year is Tishrei 5723 - Tishrei 5724. "Sons of God" is a reference to human men, not angels. The Bible clearly states angels do not have sexual relations with human women. Jesus affirmed this in quotes from Mark 12, Matthew 22 & Luke 20. Nephilim were large men, not hybrids resulting from angelic and human fornication. Some people today prefer to imagine flying saucers in the Bible instead of READING IT. (*) that's me, hollering from the choir loft... (*) Erich von Daniken, in his book Chariots of the Gods, speculated that aliens built the fortress of Sacsayhuaman on the ridge above Cusco, Peru. I've been there and put my hands on that wall and can testify it was made by very clever Incan artisans. von Daniken also speculated the vision Ezekiel 3 describes by the river Chebar was an alien vehicle and not the shekinah glory of God. Inasmuch as von Daniken was more interested in selling his preposterous book rather than Biblical scholarship he would have noticed the SAME shekinah glory also appeared to Ezekiel inside the temple of God in Jerusalem. If true according to von Daniken, then aliens were using the Jerusalem temple as a spacecraft hanger. Not true, in fact because von Dankien's reputation also included imprisonment for several counts of fraud and embezzlement. von Daniken was a proven and convicted liar, cheat and thief. His suppositions are not to be believed.

Is it possible that there was more than one Eve, and more than one Adam? Let us make man in our own image. It doesn't say a man, and a woman. It's almost as though it was about mankind. Was there likely more than one Eve, and more than one Adam? You are presently speculating upon a text and a subject that is foreign to you. Hence you write without logic or accuracy. The phrase you wrote 'let us make man in our image' is a quote from Genesis 1:26 - the story of the creation of man. The "image of God" is the subject of most importance in Genesis 1-3 for it was lost to Eve and Adam following their SIN against God's Word. They died because they ate the forbidden fruit, the name of which I suppose is opinion. "in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” (the Temptor quoted in Genesis 3:5b) 'Knowing good and evil' is a reference to SINFUL opinion, which contradicts God's Word. God isn't interested in our opinions, but in our duty and obedience. Few know or admit to the nature of the image of God. Fewer still possess it. References to it disappear from Biblical script following the eviction of Eve and Adam from Eden and their subsequent deaths. It isn't seen again until the New Covenant is written. The Son is the image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15a) JESUS is the image of God. All who accept Him into their lives and are blessed of the Second Birth are born again of Christ, of the Image of God. What conditions? Many of the predictions of Jesus and the apostles HAVE ALREADY HAPPENED including but not limited to Revelation 13:3. That particular prophecy was fulfilled in the 19th and 20th centuries. (Upon request I can cite historic occasions to prove this assertion.) Your statement is based not upon scripture but upon false interpretations that require a particular sequence. The sequence is wrong because most of it is based upon the Gregorian calendar, which wasn't adopted by European until October 1582. Biblical prophecy is based upon the Hebrew calendar and the Year of Jubilee. Since church types use the Gregorian calendar to reinterpret scripture they will always be wrong. In actual fact, nobody knows the arithmetic basis for the Year of Jubilee (as admitted by Christ in Mark 13:32-33). Jesus' remark was based upon arithmetic calculations, not metaphysical events. Nobody of His generation knew when the calculation of the Year of Jubilee would initiate many events because the beginning of the number of years had been forgotten. Jubilee had never been celebrated as the LAW required because Moses died before it could be observed. Joshua didn't observe it either and in time it was forgotten. The 'conditions' you mention are related to a sequence of events that are misinterpreted by the RCC and protestant churches that march in lock step with it. Your post rejects the Holocaust as the Time of Jacob's trouble predicted by the prophet Jeremiah and others. You offer no documented alternative. Instead you fill your post with unjustified opinion. You write phrases such as; "may be when Satan tribulation" or "GOD ISN'T MAD at His own people for doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing." In the first instance you aren't even sure of your own conjecture when you write 'may be'. In the second instance you are entirely incorrect. Jews WERE NOT doing as they were supposed to be doing. Jesus said so. Jews & Romans together rejected Christ and crucified Him in humiliation. As a result the Second Temple, as well as the entire city of Jerusalem, was totally destroyed on Tisha B'Av. God did not blind Jews so much as they yielded to it themselves. The same sort of humanistic interpretation of scripture exists today even among all of Christendom - and it's getting worse. Exactly what do you mean by your reference to " when the 'calling of the gentiles' is done is when the blindness comes off."? Luke 21:24b quotes Jesus saying, "Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled" The prophecy of Christ has nothing to do with gentile and Jewish spiritual blindness and false interpretations of scripture. Instead it's a prediction of an historic event that has already happened. THE TIME OF THE GENTILES WAS FULFILLED in June 1967 when the IDF liberated the old city of Jerusalem. To this day the liberation is celebrated during the Israeli holiday of Yom Yerushalayim. Beginning in the next year, 1968, the fortunes of Christendom began to whither and decline as it has done to this day. The blindness of Israel will remain until ha-Mashiach reappears. Current Jewish calendars list the present year as 5784. Ask your friendly local rabbi for a copy of the current Jewish calendar (it lists both Jewish and Gregorian dates). He'll be glad to give you one. I was off by one year, not two and a half centuries. I apologize for the mistake. The new year (Rosh Hashana) began on September 26th, 2022 of the Gregorian calendar. This is entirely incorrect for several reasons. FIRST is that every prediction in the article is based upon the Gregorian calendar WHICH WASN'T ADOPTED UNTIL OCTOBER 1582 by the Roman Catholic church. Look it up. All Bible predictions are based upon the HEBREW CALENDAR, not the insinuations of the Vatican. The current Biblical year is 5783 not 2022. SECOND, Bible predictions such as Tisha B'Av (1), advent of the Christ and other remarkable events are tied strictly to the YEAR OF JUBILEE. The YEAR of JUBILEE is defined by Mosaic LAW. Since the church has completely rejected the LAW, no accurate predictions can be made. As a consequence, every single prediction NOT based upon JUBILEE is doomed to failure misunderstanding and error. One might just as well be depending upon the entrails of chickens for their magical incantations. When asked when Israel would be reestablished as a sovereign nation, Jesus said something every Jew within earshot understood. Jesus admitted nobody knew when this would happen. Jews of Jesus' day knew there was a problem with making predictions based upon JUBILEE. They knew it because they'd forgotten when to calculate the beginning of years leading to JUBILEE. 0 x 50 = 0 (An unknown quantity/date of Zero, times fifty years equates to Zero predictive events.) The study of the YEAR OF JUBILEE is fascinating because no Jewish scholar in history ever figured out when to start the prophetic calendar count. Therefore NO CHURCH person, who has rejected the LAW, can know it either. Anybody who says they know is a liar. It ought to be enough to admit to a lack of knowledge and it ought to be sufficient to live by grace through faith. THIRD is that the Bible has established NO time-line or sequence of events for the occurrence of ANY FUTURE EVENT. This is a DELIBERATE omission on God's part. The first reason for this logical argument is the aforementioned lack of JUBILEE calculation and the second reason is that the Bible DELIBERATELY doesn't connect eschatological events in any sequence. This is why virtually every prediction made in recent years has failed. If a prophetic sequence is employed, then the reader should understand that a break in any single part of the sequence, any link in the chain, will result in a total collapse of the time sequence of the predicted scenario. Once again the false prophet will be proven to be a lying opportunist. Bitter disappointment rather than devoted inspiration will result. For instance, the Tribulation HAS ALREADY HAPPENED. (2) Eschatological sequences connecting Tribulation with one of three hotly debated interpretations of the Millenium will collapse the entire predictive effort. That the Tribulation has happened can be proven by dispassionate examination of scripture as well as comparison with history, yet those who enjoy the conceit of their own speculations will deny it most vehemently and illogically. ANY TIME you read a prediction that uses the Gregorian calendar a red flag should pop up in your mind. Such predictions are false right out of the starting gate and only get worse as they continue. Scholars agree that this period would last 7 years, but can't accurately determine the actual point in history Daniel's prophecy points to. That period actually began in 1938 and ended in 1945. It's called the Jewish Holocaust and it lasted SEVEN YEARS - exactly the length of time predicted by Daniel. To further clarify this prediction Jesus said it would not happen twice. Antisemites who hope and pray for the spilling of innocent Jewish blood embrace their false doctrine of a future Second Holocaust - ANOTHER time of Jacob's Distress. Guess again, dear reader. Did you read my post? Scripture says those who will be left behind are the BLESSED of God. Those that are taken are removed by DEMONS unto destruction. Proponents of the common interpretation of rapture have already decided on the story they'll accept and use bits and pieces of scripture to justify their false doctrine. None bother to consider Biblical CONTEXT. This is always the way satan confuses humanity. This has always been the way we convinced ourselves of comfortable, but false ideas. Read the Bible. When Jesus' disciples asked where the people who were to be removed would be taken HIS words are the ones we need to consider; “Where, Lord?” they asked. Jesus answered, “Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.” (Luke 17:37) Carcass is a simple word which means a DEAD BODY. Look it up in any dictionary. Vultures is a reference to birds that subsist upon dead meat. Vultures, or eagles as it is sometimes translated refer to carrion eaters, predators, etc. Symbolically the word here refers to demons since holy angels aren't ever associated with the dead. The meaning here is clear, but has been reversed by those with a religious agenda to confuse and muddy the clear teaching of Holy Writ. Pentecostalism holds as a primary dogma the utterance of noises other than one's native language. It's not an elephant in the New Testament. It's an example of a crop of religious madness originally grown in California. Some people think the gibberish that comes out of their mouths is a spiritual gift from God. Others suppose the tradition that issues from the Pentecostal-Holiness churches to be absurd - illogical and spiritually prideful, not to mention unBiblical (In 1 Corinthians 14, Paul insisted it be regulated and/or suppressed). Consider that the Pentecostal-Holiness moment began during the Azusa Street Revival in Los Angeles, California. It was inspired and directed by Mr. Charles Parham and William J. Seymour NOT THE HOLY SPIRIT. It began in America in the year 1900, NOT in Jerusalem 50 days after Christ's crucifixion. It wasn't founded by Jesus Christ or His spirit, but by an itinerant faith healer and a frustrated Methodist preacher. The Azusa Street Revival lasted three years. At the end of that time the popularity of the emotional worship services began to spread across the nation. Quite a few seemed to have been bored to tears with their church worship services and were as hungry for an emotional break in 1900 as we appear to be in the 21st century. The difference is that today we entertain our congregations with Vegas style production numbers complete with rock bands (or tracks) and up-beat (overly humanistic) tunes. The presentation has changed, but manipulation of the masses hasn't. "Nobody goes to church to see a man on fire for God. They go to watch him burn." (Bob Harrington, Chaplain of Bourbon Street) There's no elephant in the New Testament because nobody really reads the thing any more. My attempt to explain the correlation between LAW & GRACE as divinely demonstrated in the twin observances of Pentacost and Shavout seem to have been rejected by someone who doesn't believe in or read the Bible. Rather, the cheap circus theatrics of tongues and false prophecy uttered in churches that put more emphasis upon spiritual demagoguery than Biblical attestations seems to be the accepted norm. The Bible warns against false prophets and idolatry, which in essence comprises much of the collected ceremony of certain congregations. It certainly does much to dispute such activities. Tongues is NOT the ipso facto demonstration of Christian conversion. The Bible says Baptism fulfills that ceremonial expression, not tongues. Indeed tongues is more similar to the ecstatic dancing of Muslim Dervishes than of Christian observance. Many devoted disciples of Christ do not express their faith in this manner. Are you condemning them because they don't adopt your definition of cheap theatrics? Must I remind you that Our Lord blesses them as well as you claim He blesses you - or are you excluding millions that don't utter nonsensical verbosity? Must I remind you that many of the heretical notions of the post-modern church arose from Pentecostalism? To each its own, Paul writes in Romans 14. If eating meat and drinking wine floats your boat, then enjoy it. But don't dare insist that this is the way all churches must act or behave or believe. That is the SIN of pride and invites disaster both personal and corporate. My discussion focused upon aspects of the LAW and GRACE which are not usually addressed among churches that now believe God loves licentiousness. HE doesn't. Pentacost is not, as you say, completely different. It isn't different because it's linked to LAW. It's enhanced by that association. GRACE is given that one may fully and completely live life pleasing to God, according to His LAW. Pentecost did not arrive in town like a circus act of years past - parading its prideful attitude over all others like a column of trained elephants. It is the sign of power to live according to God's Holy LAW, not an occasion to promote QUESTIONABLE spiritual hubris. In many Pentecostal/Holiness congregations I've visited the act of tongues is entirely faked - an expression of <false> spiritual attitudes over other members of the same congregation they try to impress. So too are their 'interpretations', which in many cases is given by the preacher because few want to attempt the effort of pretending to be a <false> prophet which is condemned by scripture. I suspect you've missed my point entirely. Please review my past posts to learn what I've been trying to teach. It isn't about gifts of God. It's about the very human desire to SHOW OFF. I've never attended a Pentecostal church that wasn't full of itself - spiritually speaking. I've sat in the congregation of quite a few, believe you me. Without going into the fruitless task of quoting scripture to those who deny it anyway, I can say without error that most Pentecostal congregations do NOT follow scriptural guidelines with regard to their endless desire to be tickled and excited - spiritually speaking. For the most part these congregations do nothing worthy of divine blessing. They don't evangelize their community (even though they wear the label 'evangelical'.) They don't teach scriptural basics (even though they continually quote the Bible like parrots). They don't generally apply the basics of God's Holy LAW in their lives (as per my personal witness of several Pentecostal pastors who enjoy horizontal refreshment with women who aren't their wives). Does God look the other way when they do these things? Are they playing God for a fool? You tell me. WE ARE NOT READY TO TAKE A LOOK AT THE DAY OF PENTACOST. Why? Because WE are only concerned about a tradition that justifies excitement rather than power to change lives. Let's take a REAL look at Pentacost shall we? The book of Acts (chapters 10 & 11) chronicles the advent of the Holy Spirit among those who believed that Jesus Christ was sent to redeem them from SIN. Who were those assembled that day? Most of them were Jews. Most of them had come to believe that Y'shuah ha-Mashiah (the Hebrew name of the Son of God) was the Anointed One sent from God. (Messiah/Christ means 'annointed one'.) It's been estimated that 33% of Jews at that time believed Jesus/Y'shuah IS messiah. It didn't take long for non-Jewish believers to label the event PENTACOST. It wasn't about a spiritual circus act. It wasn't about an attitude of spiritual superiority or an agenda of exclusivity. It was about the power of God come to dwell in those who believed He could save them from their SINs. Today PENTACOST has become a Christian holiday. Today PENTACOST is symbolic of the gift of GRACE. Pentacost, the gift of GRACE, arrives on the Jewish calendar 50 days after Easter. (*) But there is another holiday that arrives at the same time on the same day. It's called SHAVOUT, the Feast of Weeks, and it arrives 50 days after Pesach - also called Passover. (*) Shavout also celebrates the day when God gave His LAW to Moses upon the holy mountain. Do we see a pattern here? Is this a coincidence? I think not. God is telling us something important about LAW & GRACE. Shavout (observance of giving God's LAW) happens ON THE SAME CALENDAR DAY as Pesach/Pentacost (observance of giving God's GRACE). Thus LAW & GRACE are two sides of the same coin - two aspects of God's plan of Redemption. "I did not come to abolish the LAW. I came to fulfill it." (Jesus/Y'shuah as quoted by Matthew 5:17) GRACE does not replace the LAW with licentiousness (or circus entertainment). LAW does not save anyone (because it tells us forgiveness comes from God not religious pretense). The LAW tells us we are SINNERS and GRACE gives us power to live lives pleasing to God - by the LAW. LAW & GRACE work together. Unfortunately our churches today are more concerned about lawLESSness and spiritual smoke and mirrors than the actual real power of God. Let's take a REAL look at Pentacost AND Shavout. Our churches celebrate neither LAW nor the power of GRACE, but have replaced them with empty doctrines of gentile tradition. The gentile church has followed its Jewish brethren into the same trap of traditionalism. We are all lost in it together. Jews claim a traditional observance of LAW will justify them. (Thus a traditionalist Jew can also be an atheist.) Gentiles claim lawLESS grace alone will save them. (Thus a traditionalist Christian can also live in licentiousness.) Both live in error because one denies Grace while the other denies the Law. If we take an honest look at Pentacost we'll realize it's time to REPENT of our SINs and wickedness. (*) Calendars magnetically attached to our refrigerators or those which stand on our office desks are called Gregorian calendars. It wasn't adopted into European use until October 1582. The Gregorian calendar is a solar calendar meaning it tracks one orbit of the earth around the sun as a year. On the other hand, the Jewish Biblical calendar references a LUNAR year, a collection of orbits of the moon around the earth. A LUNAR calendar is nearly 13 months per orbit of earth around the sun. All ancient calendars were Lunar calendars. Jewish holidays are tracked on LUNAR calendars, which is why Easter/Passover doesn't occur on the same Gregorian calendar day each year. It's also one reason why nearly EVERY interpretation of prophecy is WRONG. They are doomed to failure because their calculations are typically based upon a Gregorian calendar rather than a Lunar calendar. To add insult to injury modern Jewish calendars track BOTH Gregorian and Lunar systems.

Angels do NOT have sexual relations with humans in the Bible. Neither do they eat. The concept that divine beings may have sexual relations with humans comes originally from ancient Babylon and Egypt. It was promoted and advanced in the early church by the Gnostics. It is NOT scriptural. Please provide chapter and verse that verifies this talent of angels (either holy or fallen). Christian Gnosticism and post-modernism is a cancer that's eating away at the heart of the gospel and the truth of scripture. Angels do NOT eat or have sex. This is why Jesus in His resurrected body ate a meal with His disciples. He was demonstrating to them and to the reader of the gospel that in His resurrected body He was NOT an angel. (Luke 24:36-42) Nowhere does scripture describe Lillith as a demon spirit. The popular interpretation of the Tribulation is bogus. It's false because the premise upon which it's based is false - that of a FUTURE tribulation. It's false because it's based upon hatred of Jews - antisemitism at its worst. It's false because it's also based on Roman Catholic Jesuit priest Francisco Ribera's published work FUTURISM, which was released to confuse and misdirect protestant eschatology. It's false because the dogma also relies upon Dispensationalist doctrines of John Nelson Darby, a consort of witches and no true scholar at all. The tribulation has already happened !!! How awful that day will be! No other will be like it. It will be a time of trouble for Jacob, but he will be saved out of it. (Jeremiah 30:7) The Time of Jacob's trouble is also called the Tribulation and it refers specifically to JEWS - to the house of Jacob. Hear the word of the LORD, you descendants of Jacob, all you clans of Israel. (Jeremiah 2:4) ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: On the day I chose Israel, I swore with uplifted hand to the descendants of Jacob and revealed myself to them in Egypt. With uplifted hand I said to them, “I am the LORD your God.” (Ezekiel 20:5) The tribulation has already happened !!! How long will Jacob's Trouble last? According to a multitude of scholars it will last seven years. (Daniel 9, Revelation 11 & 12, etc.) 21st century post-modern protestant eschatology has a problem in that it cannot define WHEN Jacob's Trouble will happen to any degree of accuracy. At issue here is the first definition and occurrence of SIN in the Bible. The second issue is failure to answer a request for scriptural foundations for false assertions. It has nothing to do with botany or who the gardener might have been. It's about TRUST & OBEDIENCE, the twin pillars of righteousness repeatedly stated in scripture. (Genesis 15:6, Romans 4:3 & Galatians 3:6) Our DUTY unto God is the issue. It's not about the tree and it's not about whatever fruit hangs on it. It's about Eve and Adam trusting God's Word and acting upon His command. This is the nature of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil - personal opinion vs. duty to obey God. The name of the fruit was OPINION. Eve took it upon herself to believe God is a liar, that she wouldn't die if she acted upon the authority of the tempter and that adopting her own opinion would justify her actions. She and her progeny have lived and died according to the authority they've given to the tempter and it's agent ever since. God didn't lie, Eve died and humanity has suffered her disgrace ever since. Yet there is an even greater mystery to the Eden story of the fall of humanity. Arguing about duty and SIN won't reveal it. Only a deep understanding of the heart of God and His purposes will lift the curtain on it. Please quote chapter and verse where the Bible says the knowledge of good and evil was created and planted. The tree was planted, but the knowledge of good and evil was STOLEN by Eve and Adam. It was STOLEN because God said it wasn't for them. Nevertheless Eve became the first SINNER. The phrase "knowledge of good and evil" first appears in Genesis 2:17. It refers to the 1st command or LAW God gave to the ones He'd created in the garden. It also refers to the consequence of SIN/disobedience/faithlessness. The consequence of SIN is DEATH. (Romans 6:23) It's generally understood this 'knowledge' means 'opinion'. When one turns their back upon God and God's LAW one inevitably forms one's own opinion of things which may or may not (usually not) be true and accurate. Such opinions are generally self-destructive in the physical sense as well as death itself spiritually. The sons and daughters of Eve were thus forever condemned to what is now considered to be the NATURAL cycle of birth life and death. There is no such thing as an eternal spirit in man, no inherent ability to survive physical death. Humans live and die like any cockroach or dog. Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; humans have no advantage over animals. Images on coins are government issue rather like taxes and civil laws. Jesus said to give to the government (Caesar) that which belongs to the government. This means taxes and civil obedience. (Romans 13) Jesus obeyed civil laws and paid taxes as demonstrated in the gospels. Coins have nothing to do with false messiahs. Jesus said to give to God that which rightfully belongs to God. This means allegiance, support and trust. Nowhere does the Bible say one ought to Pledge Allegiance to ANY government. The 1st commandment says to give to God all our minds and hearts. (Deuteronomy 6:5 & Mark 12:30) That's 100%. If 100% of our allegiance is given to God, then there is nothing left to share with the governments of man. Likewise Jesus didn't support Roman troops or sing national anthems. He chanted scripture and prayers in synagogue, but those things are what's given/owed to God. Jesus did help soldiers who came to Him with humble requests, but He didn't honor them or their duty (or their murders or thefts) in any way. As we see these things taught in scripture and demonstrated by the actions and witness of Jesus ought we not follow His example? This means NO government is deserving of our allegiance. We are to obey laws, but we are not allowed to show affection for government objects such as flags standards and monuments. Indeed has not our own government spurned public displays of the 10 Commandments and prayer? There's a separation there that goes both ways. What is at issue is false Messiah figures. The word Messiah means 'anointed one'. Men and women have claimed to be anointed by God so as to lead their people into war and self-worship (Joan of Arc & Adolph Hitler to name a few). They are destructive by their nature and purpose. Their ways are death and lies and robbery (not unlike American politicians). The pope of the Roman Catholic church is one such false messiah because the Vatican claims he is god on earth. This is an example of the classic definition of blaspheme - claiming to BE god. It's happening again. About fifty yards of sea bottom in Tampa Bay has been exposed - sea water pulled out by the tide and wind of Hurricane Ian. It’s all dry land about fifty yards from shore that’s normally underwater several feet deep. TV news is showing people walking around on the exposed sea bottom. It's the reverse of flooding except the water could rush back without warning. I can't believe people are that stupid. I’m reminded of Moses crossing the Red Sea. The Bible says the wind blew all night and made a path through the waters. Tampa Bay only needed a few hours and it was dry enough to walk on. AND the danger of water suddenly returning to its previous level is there too. We’re watching this on TV. Amazing…..

What do you consider reputable scholarship? Indeed there is a variation of interpretation as to the origins and references to Elam not to mention precise identification of the name. I can provide such references, but I doubt you'd acknowledge them as valid. My point here is that there is a variation of interpretation which does indeed exist. Denying it only complicates the issue. The definition you provided in your post is entirely accurate with regard to ONE interpretation.
