  1. Just don't discourage anyone from walking as He walked. It will actually do more harm than Good. Jude 1:24. He is able that's all I need to know about the situation. He is able, to Him be the glory.
  2. I know I need an advocate provided I do sin. It's possible for me to sin.
  3. Just don't discourage anyone who believes they can walk as He walked.
  4. So if I don't put my mind to sin I can avoid it?
  5. You are aware that's it's not a simple question. You are aware of the answer and it's requirement for an explanation. You are making an attempt to trap me as they did with Jesus. So how about you go with the answer you want and leave it at that.
  6. So he is using another definition of sin? When he says "but if any man sins"?
  7. Read my statement again.
  8. But you told me it was habitual sin.
  9. So in 1 John 2: 1 it's better translated. "If any man practices sin we have an advocate"?
  10. If you don't believe you'll walk as He walked here on earth then you will not. It's lack of faith on you part. As for me I am convinced of the promise and ability of God. I look at Jude 1:24 and I know that He is able. I read Matthew 5:6 and I am persuaded of this promise.
  11. You weren't using the verses in proper context.
  12. God is more powerful than the sinful nature.
  13. I do read in context.
  14. The gift is God's work in us.
