  1. You make assumptions. The bible is not a roman or greek story, it is a Hebrew story. Without the Tanakh, the NT does not exist. Torah has be preserved, for the most part, when the NT conflicts with Torah/Tanakh, I stand with Torah. Who was Mr. Luke? Go 40 days without food or water in the heat of the desert/wilderness and you will die. 40 days, days and nights, show up too many times, way too many times. 40 weeks is the gestation period of a baby, 40 years is the gestation period of a generation. If I am wrong? If you are wrong? I'm not here preaching and proclaiming.
  2. How about you control yourself and I will control myself. I have said nothing inappropriate.
  3. Yep, there you go. What? believers just make stuff up? Apparently a believer does not read and follow God?
  4. Better translation- God's Righteous Judgment …11For God does not show favoritism. 12All who sin apart from the Law will also perish apart from the Law, and all who sin under the Law will be judged by the Law. 13For it is not the hearers of the Law who are righteous before God, but it is the doers of the Law who will be declared righteous.…
  5. I concern myself with my salvation, you concern yourself with yours. I will base my salvation on what the Word says.
  6. You and I will disagree on who or what a 'believer' is, that said, within your context- The unbeliever is destroyed.
  7. So, you judge my faith? I did not say there was no heaven, I am saying there is no place called hell as you refer to hell. All dead go to Sheol and await the resurrection.
  8. Romans 2:12 All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. What Shaul is referring to here- Those who are under Torah will be Judged by Torah, those outside of Torah will be put to death.
  9. You will be Judged, just as I will be Judged. 2 Corinthians Our Eternal Dwelling …9So we aspire to please Him, whether we are here in this body or away from it. 10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive his due for the things done in the body, whether good or bad. 11Therefore, since we know what it means to fear of the Lord, we try to persuade men. What we are is clear to God, and I hope it is clear to your conscience as well.… Berean Study Bible · Download Cross References Job 34:11 "For He pays a man according to his work, And makes him find it according to his way. Matthew 16:27 For the Son of Man will come in His Father's glory with His angels, and then He will repay each one according to what he has done. Matthew 25:32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. Acts 10:42 And He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that He is the One appointed by God to judge the living and the dead. Romans 2:5 But because of your hard and unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of wrath, when God's righteous judgment will be revealed. Romans 2:16 This will come to pass on that day when God will judge men's secrets through Christ Jesus, as proclaimed by my gospel. Romans 14:10 Why, then, do you judge your brother? Or why do you belittle your brother? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat. Romans 14:12 So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. Hebrews 9:27 Just as man is appointed to die once, and after that to face judgment,
  10. 40day/nights is a Hebrew idiom. I means- a long time. Moses fasted...... Yahshua tested........ Noah's rain..... There may be a couple of others........
  11. Yes, and '40 days and 40 nights' are not literal either. Former things will pass away, be no more. Revelation 21:1 Then I saw "a new heaven and a new earth," for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. Isaiah 51:11 So the ransomed of the LORD will return And come with joyful shouting to Zion, And everlasting joy will be on their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy, And sorrow and sighing will flee away. Isaiah 65:17 "For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind. Isaiah 66:22 "For just as the new heavens and the new earth Which I make will endure before Me," declares the LORD, "So your offspring and your name will endure. Romans 8:21 that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will be dissolved in the fire, and the earth and its works will not be found. 2 Peter 3:13 But in keeping with God's promise, we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. Revelation 6:14 The sky receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved from its place. Revelation 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and the One who sat on it. The earth and the heavens fled from His presence, and no place was found for them. 12. Very good. Now, read Hosea. God takes her back.
  13. This will go nowhere. When I get home tonight I will ask one last question.
  14. Jeremiah 3 I gave faithless Israel her certificate of divorce and sent her away because of all her adulteries. Yet I saw that her unfaithful sister Judah had no fear; she also went out and committed adultery. When were they married?
