  1. With the US government and personal debt in the 'Trillions', it would be impossible to ever pay off that debt. We are a 'debt based economy' meaning, we measure, grow and prosper by spending and accumulating ever expanding debt. We are insolvent and our debt is far beyond sustainable and is being propped up. Soon this house of cards has to tumble. I'm totally surprised the US dollar remains the world's reserve currency. To quote one of my favorite phrases, "the handwriting is on the wall". We have recently seen how fragile this currency system is and the disparity between currencies. Everyone should know the agenda that the world's elite and banking systems want to level the playing field. The worlds current system of currency and paper transactions will come to an end very soon. How many people do you know that get their pay checks, retirement, social security, tax refunds, etc. by check anymore? In my opinion, the world economy will crash in the foreseeable future and be replaced with a cashless electronic debit / credit system. And then guess what follows. A good read on how our banking system was developed and how it works, the creation of the Federal Reserve and the world banking system is, "The Creature from Jekyll Island", by G. Edward Griffin, 600 pages. Why work by the sweat of your brow when you can make a living fleecing the wealth of working productive people with banking Ponzi schemes, creating money out of thin air, loaning that formally non existent money and charging hefty interest rates and penalties on what was created out of thin air.
  2. Soros is definitely 'anti' in everything I support and believe in. Whether he is going to have a major connection to prophesy remains to be seen. Not to change the topic of this thread but... We know (or should) the anti-Christ can't be identified until he signs a seven year deal affirming a covenant with Israel, correct? I've found nowhere in scripture where it says or suggests we can not figure out who the "False Prophet" might be ahead of time. Anyone concur with that? Which leads me too... Anyone familiar with the seven hundred year old "Saint Malachy prophesy of the Popes"? Historically and thus far it appears to have been 100% accurate. If [and that's a big IF] it is correct, we're on the threshold with one foot stepping in.
  3. I hope this is the correct forum for this? Gen 2:9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Rev 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Rev 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, [was there] the tree of life, which bare twelve [manner of] fruits, [and] yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree [were] for the healing of the nations. Rev 22:14 Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. I don't find many commentaries or subject matter dealing with the subject of "the tree of life" or "the tree of good and evil". I'd like to get your insight on some of the questions I've been thinking about? It's difficult to determine if these trees are symbolic, figurative, literal or all three? How they are interpreted makes a big difference on understanding these scriptures and meanings. The tree of life is present in the Garden of Eden and the Kingdom. Depending on ones interpretation if it's figurative or literal, one could make the case that physically eating of the tree of life is necessary for eternal or everlasting life? My understanding is we will have perfect resurrected physical bodies in eternity. I have no idea but, I could conjecture partaking of these fruits are necessary to maintain our physical bodies? Your scriptural thoughts?
  4. What's up Omegaman 3.0? Well I just joined and this seems to be the only thread I can post to until I get a certain amount of posts. Just looked at 'Kwikphilly's' message an read it. It's a little confusing at this point on what, when and where I can post, so I apologize. I'll get the hang of it hopefully before my 750th post? Oh YES, I'm a Christian. I'm well aware of the Apocrypha, extra biblical non canonical texts, Josephus, etc. as not being the inspired Word of God. The BIBLE is the only true living inspired Word of God. Believe me, I spend much more time reading the Word of God than other extra Biblical texts. I use extra texts for secular and Biblical comparison, research and maybe explanations to puzzles I can't decipher from scripture. I can't say everything in the non Biblical texts are all nonsense, I can only say they are not inspired or the Word of God. The first century secular Jewish historian Josephus's work seems to verify and expand on a lot of the Biblical narrative, especially Jewish history. The whole Bible one way or another centers on Jesus Christ, secondly his chosen people Israel. Again, I know it's not the inspired Word of God and it is treated as such. It's useful for gaining a better perspective of history, the times, reasons, goals and a lot of other subjects to further understand and comprehend scripture. Presently I'm doing some research on Genesis 6: and how it relates to Revelation, Luke 21:26, 2 Thessalonians 2:9, etc., the Nephilim and how it might relate to the end-times. The further I dug I become distracted and went off topic, that's where I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how much an 'ell' was, that made no sense in the book of Enoch. Praise be to the Lord, Dennis
  5. Hey all, I've been doing research on the days of Jared, days of Noah and the Nephilim. I'm also using extra biblical text references such as the Apocrypha, Josephus, books of Enoch, Jubilees, Jasher, etc. To my question... Exactly or closely, what is the length of an "ELL"? In all my text references and my searches I find it's about an equivalent of a cubit, a cubit being the length between a mans elbow and middle finger tip, or 16 - 18 inches. Enoch 7:3, describes giants that are 3,000 ells? If my math is correct; 3,000 ells x 18 inches = 54,000 inches. 54,000 inches divided by 12 inches = 4,500 feet? Something is not right here? Am I having a bad hair day and can't do simple math? Thanks
