  1. Acts 2:31 31 David, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of Christ that ‘His soul was not left in hell, neither did His flesh see corruption.’ You're correct that's what it is "the grave" YOU'RE A WINNER""""""""""""" Jesus did go to hell (grave), his soul was in hell (grave) for 3 days while he was sleeping. Mind Blown If you think Jesus went somewhere else whereas the scripture? Then where do Righteous people go when they die? and don't say heaven, and if that's what you believe in the when did the first resurrection take place? there is only two times when people are resurrected. I would like to know?
  2. My comparison was legit sorry you just couldn't understand it. So here again I reposted it for you. Where I give ample proof to the bibles teaching. Where is yours??????? I don't know If you're so heated in your disagreement, that you are truly not listing to what I'm saying. I know that I used to be like that, sit back take a breath and listen to what im asking you, be humble like a child and listen to what I'm asking you. It's not about unnecessary confusion, no one is giving me scriptures to their teaching.
  3. I have given ample proof, it's you guys that have not given me any scriptures showing that anyone in the bible approves of praying to Jesus, maybe you need to go back and read my other post where I give like 50 scriptures as to why only the father is the one we should direct our prayers to. All I'm asking for where in the bible does it teach or show on many occasions that people prayed to Jesus please just show me the scriptures why is that so hard. I'm not bashing anyone belief so to say but why is it that no one gives scriptures? please understand if what is taught in the Bible as one thing then it's true, but coming on here has made my heart drop as to why people are not providing the scriptures? I don't have blind faith in what I know cause everything I know comes from the scripture, again go back and read my post you will see I gave plenty of scriptures to as why you only direct your prayers to the Father and never to the son. I'm not just asking for one misinterpreted bible verse, I'm asking for proof, and also even before Jesus they only prayed to the father and never the Son. Now we just ask when closing our prayer we ask in Jesus name but not in the OT or in the New do I see anyone ever teaching that it is ok to pray to Jesus. I think this is a big problem. If you use the Catholic Bible (KJV) for your only source for your answers when you're reading, then you without of matter of doubt cling to traditions of men rather than the teachings of God. That bible has clearly stated on the back of it how it takes out things and adds to the word of God. so maybe you need to do your research because Jesus did state Satan is misleading the whole inhabited earth and satan greatest work is what he has done to the bible in man's history. I hate bibles that are not true the word of God but let's not get side tracked. Please, give the scriptures on where anyone is praying to Jesus I want more than just one, please. I don't want your human thoughts or traditions on the matter without scriptures. This is the first time I ever heard people saying it was ok to direct your prayer to Jesus I just want proof maybe I missed something hey I could be wrong, but I'm a scripture kind of guy so don't think I listen to babble talk no offense. WHERES THE SCRIPTURE ?????????????
  4. give me scriptures in the OT about Hell? and then when you say God doesn't torture people in hell but you say God is the creator of this place and he can't wait to take vengeance so as to speak throw them in his torture chamber o please, I'm calling as it is,you just don't want to label it as that because you know it's wrong. That's a false doctrine that's why I say give the scripture if you can in the Hebrews scriptures where it talks about hell? Anyone that claims God is LOVE knows thats this burning of people is a false doctrine and i can prove it Give me the scripture in the OT. when Jesus died he went to hell because that's, where people go when they die, Jesus, was no sinner but he was there for 3 days Acts 2:31 31 David, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of Christ that ‘His soul was not left in hell, neither did His flesh see corruption.’ The Greek scriptures are not the first time it talks about hell there are many probably in the upper twenty's of scriptures on this subject, please just give the scripture please, that's if you can? in the OT where are the precepts on Hell????????
  5. So you don't believe people will burn in hell then?
  6. I have to sleep but I'm curious as to what your thoughts are of the resurrection actually taken place ill give you my answer about how children do share in there parents destruction but the scripture must go hand in hand with all the other bible accounts too. I do see your point
  7. All in all my friend I give you credit. But no one can enter into the kingdom of heaven unless they have been born (baptized) again, and Jesus was the first person to be resurrected from the dead. John 3:3-5 3 In response Jesus said to him: “Most truly I say to you, unless anyone is born again,* he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” 4 Nic·o·deʹmus said to him: “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter into the womb of his mother a second time and be born, can he?” 5 Jesus answered: “Most truly I say to you, unless anyone is born from water and spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. Colossians 1:18 18 and he is the head of the body, the congregation. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might become the one who is first in all things; Revelation 1:5 5 and from Jesus Christ, “the Faithful Witness,” “the firstborn from the dead,” and “the Ruler of the kings of the earth.” So if Jesus was the first person from the dead, what about the other resurrections before His? Did he not resurrect a little girl and Lazarus? what about at 1Kings 17:22 And the Lord listened to the voice of Elijah. And the life of the child came into him again, and he revived????????? so Jesus is not the first person to be resurrected but the first person to be resurrected in a spiritual body that can only dwell in heaven. 1 Peter 3:18 18 For Christ died once for all time for sins, a righteous person for unrighteous ones, in order to lead you to God. He was put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit. 1 Corinthians 15:50 50 But I tell you this, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s Kingdom, nor does corruption inherit incorruption. So that means no one prior to Pentecost 33C.E.(or died before Jesus can go to heaven) because only after his death when the "Holy Spirit" was given, and only after Jesus went into the "Holy of Holies" was the Spirit given at Pentecost, who then could ever have a hope to go to heaven. Heb 9:3, 24; 10:10, 19, 20; compare Joh 6:51; Heb 6:19, 20 Enoch was apparently in mortal danger when “God took him.” (Genesis 5:24) God did not allow his faithful prophet to suffer at the hands of rabid enemies. According to the Apostle Paul, “Enoch was transferred so as not to see death.” (Hebrews 11:5) Many say that Enoch did not die—that God took him to heaven, where he kept on living. However, Jesus plainly stated: “No man has ascended into heaven but he that descended from heaven, the Son of man.” Jesus was the “forerunner” of all who ascend to heaven.—John 3:13; Hebrews 6:19, 20. So, what happened to Enoch? His being “transferred so as not to see death” may mean that God put him in a prophetic trance and then terminated his life while he was in that state. Under such circumstances, Enoch would not experience the pangs of death. Then “he was nowhere to be found,” apparently because God disposed of his body, even as he disposed of Moses’ body. Deuteronomy 34:5, 6. No one has ascended into heaven but he who descended from heaven, the Son of man.” (John 3:13,) Although Elijah was seen as he “went up by a whirlwind into heaven,” this does not mean that he went into the spirit realm. Why not? Because he is later reported as sending a letter of reproof to the king of Judah. (2 Ki. 2:11, RS; 2 Chron. 21:1, 12-15) Before humans invented airplanes, God there used his own means (a fiery chariot and a whirlwind) to lift Elijah off the ground into the heaven where the birds fly and to transport him to another place. So he died of old age. You can check by the same king that was reigning in both books. So no one can go to heaven unless they have been "baptized" which no man ever was prior to Jesus death because of Jesus's key words are:" unless anyone is born again,* he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” It is a REQUIREMENT no Butts lol The Bible indicates only two periods of the resurrection to take place how is it that you believe the first resurrection has already taken place(meaning you believe people are already in heaven) before the Great Tribulation? So then where did they go you ask? Hint somewhere on earth underground dust you were made dust you will return if that rings a bell??? Genesis 3:19 19 In the sweat of your face, you will eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are and to dust, you will return.” I would like you or anyone to Give me the Bibles timeline as to when the first resurrection has or is going to take place, I would be grateful because this is very important. Matthew 24 and in the book of Revelation give key factors.
  8. Becuase the Bible does not say that "we can't pray to Jesus" doesn't make it right to do so, nor does the bible say: "we can't look at porn" so in a sense that it makes it ok to watch it. But we look to Bible on what it teaches not what it doesn't. It's about how we worship that pleases God, and he Jesus gave the example of how we should pray. I gave you scriptural examples on what the bible teaches. Now if you can't give scriptures, does that make it ok? No, Then you have to come to the conclusion that it is wrong to pray to Jesus. My question to anyone where is the scripture that says it's ok? We must teach from the bible like Jesus does with his famous words, which is: "It is written" Jesus taught us how to pray why would you go away from his commandments and teachings?
  9. hold up you believe The Holy ghost is a God and a person? where is the scripture for that, please-seriously I would be grateful if you can give scriptures on that one? I never heard of this before nor have I read it sorry. I don't agree I believe Jesus is a Mighty God but Not the Almighty God he was Gods actual Son whom he created.
  10. While Jesus is teaching in the crowded room, four men bring a paralyzed man on a stretcher. They want Jesus to heal their friend. Yet, because of the crowd, they cannot “bring him right to Jesus.” (Mark 2:4) Imagine how disappointing that is. They climb up onto the flat roof of the house and make an opening through the tiles. Then they lower the stretcher holding the paralyzed man down into the house. Does Jesus get angry at the interruption? No, indeed! He is deeply impressed by their faith and says to the paralyzed man: “Your sins are forgiven.” (Matthew 9:2) But can Jesus actually forgive sins? The scribes and the Pharisees take issue with this, reasoning: “Why is this man talking this way? He is blaspheming. Who can forgive sins except one, God?”—Mark 2:7. Knowing their thoughts, Jesus says to them: “Why are you reasoning these things in your hearts? Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and pick up your stretcher and walk’?” (Mark 2:8, 9) Yes, based on the sacrifice that Jesus will in time offer, he can forgive the man’s sins. Then, Jesus shows the crowd, including his critics, that he has authority to forgive sins on earth. He turns to the paralytic and gives the command: “I say to you, Get up, pick up your stretcher, and go to your home.” And the man immediately does that, walking out carrying his stretcher before the eyes of all those present. The people are amazed! They glorify God and exclaim: “We have never seen anything like this”! Mark 2:11, 12. It is worthy of note that Jesus mentions sins in connection with sickness and that forgiveness of sins can be linked to physical health. The Bible teaches that our first parent, Adam, sinned and that all of us have inherited the consequences of sin, namely, sickness and death. But under the rule of God’s Kingdom, Jesus will forgive the sins of all who love and serve God. Then sickness will be removed forever. Romans 5:12, 18, 19. TO WHOM DID JESUS TEACH US TO PRAY? Jesus both taught and showed us to whom we should pray. When one of his disciples asked Jesus, “Lord, teach us how to pray,” Jesus replied: “Whenever you pray, say: ‘Father.’” (Luke 11:1, 2) Further, in his famous Sermon on the Mount, Jesus urged his listeners to pray. He said: “Pray to your Father.” He also reassured them by saying: “Your Father knows what you need even before you ask him.” (Matthew 6:6, 8) On his final night as a human, Jesus told his disciples: “If you ask the Father for anything, he will give it to you in my name.” (John 16:23) Jesus thus taught us to pray to the one who is both his Father and our Father, His God, and our God. John 20:17.17 Jesus said to her, “Stop holding on to me,[a] for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am going to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” HIS EXAMPLE: In line with the way he taught others to pray, Jesus personally prayed: “I publicly praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth.” (Luke 10:21) On another occasion, “Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: ‘Father, I thank you that you have heard me.’” (John 11:41) And as he was dying, Jesus prayed: “Father, into your hands I entrust my spirit.” (Luke 23:46) In praying to his heavenly Father—the “Lord of heaven and earth”—Jesus set a clear example for all to follow. (Matthew 11:25; 26:41, 42; 1 John 2:6)
  11. before I Go any further May I ask you a question then? where did David's Son go when he died from his parent's sexual acts? and where is David now that he is dead?
  12. So because your trinitarian you would pray to the Holy Ghost as well? please, can you give scriptures to any one ever praying to Jesus or the Holy Ghost? I look to Jesus as my example in what I should do he is our model in whom we should try to be like and he never prayed to Jesus.
  13. God punishes all children with their parents until the age of accountability. When a child is of age, then they are accounted for their own sin, and until then God judgment is on the parents head as well as the child. I would ask for scriptures to as why you believe other wise? If the parents of a 2yr old child goes to hell, so does the child.
  14. the Only way to believe in Jesus is to Go back into the Hebrew scriptures and find out who he was before he came to earth? the Bible ask a Question let see if you can answer it. what are the two names they're referring to in Proverbs 30:4? draw close to God and he will draw close to you. the only way to do that is by reading the bible and dont just stick with one bible cross reference all bibles to see what speaks to you. How often do you really examine the scriptures and test to see if you are in the faith? maybe you feel this way because some religions don't give you the true answers because they are part of Satans false Christianity? 4 Who has ascended to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in his fists?Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son's name? Surely you know! I have some questions for you if you don't mind? What is our future king Jesus going to do when he starts ruling as king in his 1000 year reign, what does our future entail? you say your going to hell I beg to differ, but answer me this when does the bible talk about hell for the first time in the Hebrew scriptures (OT) You heard that God loved the world so much he gave his own only begotten son so that we could live by putting faith in him, but if you don't then Gods going to torture mankind because they didn't love Him? that is not a biblical teaching but makes God not a loving Father but a cruel one. that's why I ask you to show me where it talks about hell in the Hebrew Scriptures vs Greek. if you need help just ask
  15. you're not allowed to ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins its only the father, Jesus himself says to ask the father so you should never in your mind direct your prayers to one of the other God head meaning Son or the holy Gost there are three persons. The one and only is the Father, and prayers are to that one. Jesus himself knows that, because he prayed to the Father only he never prayed to 3rd person which is the Holy Ghost so you're not allowed to pray to that one either they are not same but you're not allowed because he not a hearer of prayers John 16:23 and Luke 11:1,2 23 In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. Luke 11:1,2 Once when Jesus had been out praying, one of his disciples came to him as he finished and said, “Lord, teach us a prayer to recite[a] just as John taught one to his disciples.”And this is the prayer he taught them: “Father, may your name be honored for its holiness; send your Kingdom soon you ask the Father and say these things through Jesus name, you never direct your prayer to Jesus
  16. you still didn't answer my question (Jesus is God the Father) but who gave it to him this "Authority" this part what's confusing me or are you saying he gave it to himself? for one to be Given Authority would that not mean he did not have authority beforehand? just like the President he was given Authority? what was this authority that was given and what year did he receive this authority? Do you think maybe God had to learn how to be obedient in his fleshly life so he could recive his authority back in Heaven?
  17. Is it just me or when I hear that Scripture I always think of Jehovah witnesses that preach door to door because aren't they the ones that pass out Kingdom magazines.
  18. i feel bad for the children that go to Gods torture chamber (hell) because of their parents
  19. So God said: All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth in Matthew 28:18 So my question is who gave God authority? this is confusing me
  20. So God said: All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth in Matthew 28:18 So my question is who gave God authority? this is confusing me
  21. Yeah, i was just wondering if anyone knew what it means so i looked it up and it means praise JAH but then again what is JAH?
  22. Does does anyone know what Hallelujah mean?
