Got married in the Philippines because at 32 years old I figured no American girl would married me, so after writing a Filipina for 2 years I went there and got married. Been married for 27 years. My coworker asked me one day if I wanted a pen-pal, the old fashion way of communicating. Best letter i ever wrote because it led to my wife.  

Lived in a poor barangay in the southern part of Luzon Island for 7 years from 2007 -14. Miss all the kids that lived there. Try to send a box of school supplies twice a year to the elementary school there - it is my way of serving God, love them kids.
