  1. I see it was answered above.
  2. We do not know how big the pre-trib group is because it is not documented but we do know that those that die in the tribulation group that cannot be counted probably are in the billions. Revelation documents over 200,000,000 that can be counted so those who die in the Great Tribulation must be a lot more.
  3. So there are two raptures then? Pre-trib rapture dead Pre-trib rapture living Post-trib rapture dead Post-trib rapture living?
  4. Do you believe the Saints that die in the tribulation are raptured also? What happens to them? How are they raptured after a pretrib rapture? They died for Christ. The dead in Christ are raptured first and then the living. The Saints that die in tribulation should go before any living.
  5. 1 Thessalonians was a letter. There were originally no chapter or verse markers so it flows from 1 Thessalonians 4 into 1 Thessalonians 5 with no break. 1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. The believers and saved are not in darkness. The Destruction comes upon them that are not saved. They are the ones who do not know it is coming.
  6. The Wings in Rev 12 are the sames as in Exodus. God carries Israel into safety on his wings. Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself. Now he will guide Israel out of Babylon instead of Egypt. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. The Women represents Israel/Church. Israel is God's witness and always has been. Zechariah does not say the 2 witnesses are women. Zechariah speaks of the 2 olive trees and Israel is also represented by the Olive Tree. Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth. Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.
  7. In Chapters 8 to 19th the wrath does not start until Rev 11:13 as shown in Matthew 24. Everything before is Tribulation. Rev 11:13 In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand men were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.
  8. As it says in Matthew 24. Anything before the Great Earthquake is Tribulation. Everything else after is God's Wrath. Tribulation is the wrath of the devil. He is the one doing the persecuting. Which happens during the 1st Woe Rev 12:12 "Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time."
  9. Hi Cletus, Tribulation saints is a label many have given to the people who die in the tribulation. There are so many they cannot be counted.
  10. It is possible nothing happens in the 5th seal but that just lengthens the 6th seal and puts the earthquake in the middle or at the end of the 6th seal. Anything before the great earthquake is tribulation. Anything after the great earthquake is wrath.
  11. I submit the tribulation saints are the same people that are made reference to in the 5th seal just before the 6th seal which corresponds with Matthew 24. Rev 6:11 And a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed. Here is the 6th seal that lines up with Matt 24 Rev 6:12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. Mat 24:29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken Anything before the 6th seal is tribulation. After the 6th seal is wrath.
  12. I see no reason why Rev 19 must be pre-trib only. 1) Satan comes to earth and the wrath of the devil starts. 2) Saints are persecuted 3) Saints are raptured and caught up into the clouds with Christ. <--- Marriage of the lamb. We do not know how long this consummation period is but it could be just a week or two. 4) Gods Wrath / Christ returns with his bride and rids the world of the unbelievers and tares. Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
  13. Mattehw 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
  14. I I have asked this many times and the only answer I saw but I do not believe myself is that there are two raptures. A pre-tribulation rapture rapture and then a rapture for the great multitude. I know of no scripture support for this position. Another question that is never answered is how many they expect to go in a pre-tribulation rapture? We know that the 144,000 go into the tribulation and that the saints that cannot even be counted go through the tribulation. The Great Multitude in the tribulation that cannot be counted must be a great many even into the billions. We know there are only 7 billion people on the earth and we also know that a majority of them do not go into rapture. Revelations shows us numbers that can be counted and they are 144,000 and even up to 200,000,000 horsemen. What does that leave left for the pre-tribulation rapture? Would we even know if they left the earth or if they would even register on a census? Revelation 9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
  15. Hi RevMan, Which one scripture do you think is the absolute most proof for a pre-tribulation rapture?
  16. Paul said they should all be teaching the same gospel. 1Co 1:10 Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 1Co 1:12 Now I say this, that each of you says, "I am of Paul," or "I am of Apollos," or "I am of Cephas," or "I am of Christ." 1Co 1:13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
  17. Hi Revelation Man, Do you have any scripture or evidence that Matthew, Paul and John were not all given the same knowledge? We only have the writings that have survived the ages. Also all were anointed with the Holy Spirit. They all had the same source of knowledge. Matthew and John went from disciples to Apostles after being anointed. Paul met Christ on the road to Damascus. Christ taught the apostles a lot of information but much understanding did not come until after the Holy Spirit. What would be the point of Christ only telling Paul about a pre-tribulation rapture? God uses multiple witnesses for everything he does but on something so great as a pre-trib rapture he uses one source? Also I do not see any reason why Rev. 19 would need to be a pre-trib rapture.
  18. I study and watch not to be caught off guard. Still just the same it will be on a day God appoints and God has many appointed times that most Christians know nothing about or believe God's appointed times do not concern them.
  19. But Paul says we are not in Darkness and Christ says to watch. What is the point of watching if it does us no good? Even if we do not know the hour we can discern the times if we study and watch. Mar 13:35 "Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming--in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning--
  20. Counting 42 months does not give the exact day or hour. Just the same we can know the season. 1Th 5:1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 1Th 5:4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 1Th 5:9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
  21. Rev 19 is at the end of the week. The rapture happens just before the marriage.
  22. The word rapture is derived from one word harpazo which is used 14 times in the NT in different scriptures. FROM strong's: to seize, catch up, snatch away. The harpazo is just part of how the resurrection occurs. It is not a whole doctrine's on it's own. Looking below in the English word plunder is harpazo in the Greek. Mat 12:29 "Or else how can one enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.
  23. I know it says they are virgin males but I do not know if all these attributes are physical. These people may be virgins because they never strayed to foreign gods or believed in pagan traditions. Also when they are sealed with the Holy Spirit God says he will forget their faults so maybe that is why they are blameless. 1Ki 19:18 "Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him."
  24. To me Israel and the church or assembly are the same thing. I think of the woman of Rev 12, the 2 witnesses and also the 144K as rememnant Israel who restart up the ministry of Christ witnessing in the end times. They will be sealed with the Holy Spirit and a multitude of people will come to the truth with their help and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
