  1. I would tell the truth no matter what the situation is. And I tell you the truth now...if a lie caused my wife to be raped, I might lie. If it caused her to be killed, I wouldn't lie. If caused her to lose her legs and arms, I wouldn't lie. Very very few things I would lie about. Satan will put many obstacles in your path to make you stumble. What did Satan say to Eve? "you will not certainly die". "It's better to lose one of your members, then for your entire body burn". This is the extent of avoiding sin Jesus gives us. If your tongue causes you to lie, cut it off. What happened to Ananias when Peter said, "you have lied to the Holy Spirit". He dropped dead, and likewise his wife. Proverbs 12:22 - "The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy." I've thought about this question myself for a while. What if your lie caused 1 million souls to be saved, would you lie? The answer is: It wouldn't be what "I would do". It would be what the Holy Spirit guides me to do. "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law"
  2. No. Do not bear false witness means, do not bear false witness.
  3. "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life." Does he say, "search the scriptures", as in they should search the scriptures to find eternal life. Or does he say they "search the scriptures" because in them they think there is eternal life.
  4. I didn't infer that it had to do with baptism. I responded to your statement that sprinkling is found nowhere in the Bible.
  5. How would you interpret this. Ezekiel 36:25-27 25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
  6. The question is, how will she be baptized in water.
  7. The question is how will she be baptized. You're saying it's immersion or nothing.
  8. There is an old paralyzed lady, hospital bedridden. She has equipment connected to her, that cannot get wet or be removed. How will she get baptized.
  9. #1 Scripture says Jesus is the son of man. Psalms says: don't trust in the son of man. #2 God wrote the law on our hearts. Proverbs says: if you trust in your heart, you're a fool. Your answers didn't really clarify the points specifically.
  10. Born of the Spirit. We live by the Spirit.
  11. #1 Jesus is the Son of Man Psalm 146:3-5 : "Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help." #2 Hebrews 10:16 : "I will put My Laws in their hearts and inscribe them on their minds." Proverbs 28:26 : "He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool"
