Volcanic lava flows have been witnessed and sampled yet the date the rock flowed and cooled has a vastly differnt age to the radioactive date.

It will let you ask questions, discuss Christianity without the embarisment of doing it in front of people you know.

Sometimes live is humdrum, boreing, dull and anything looks better than what we've got.
This applies to the Christian life just as much to ones everyday work life.
The everyday routine contines, one reads a bible that doesn't speak to you, one prays to the ceiling so it seems and one seeks not to sin.
God is with us when life is like that, he cares, he hears us, he is speaking to us.
Christianity is not just for when it is fun and exciting, it is for when every part of it is really hard work.
Keep going, what other option do you have?

You have lots of issues and questions, may I suggest checking the christianityexplored web site for a church running this course.
It will give you the opertunity to meet in nutral teritory and discuss Christianity, without commiting yourself to attend any church.
Something like this where you are talking face to face with people you build a relationship with and can discuss other issues with would be more helpfull than intermitent question and answers on a forum.

In a word No.
A global flood would as happened, totally reshape the earth, no mam made structure would have survieved it.
Look at the messa's in the American deserts those volcanic outcrops where when they formed. Up welling of volcanic lava, the surrounding material has been eroded away by flood water.
Any flood able to erode a few thousand feet of rock away is going to make short work of something only a few tens of feet high.

The claim that Moses copied from others could equaly be turned around as folk memories of a real event, interpreted by there current beliefs.
The Ark is an example as when tested by marine engineers it proved to be seaworthy, while the other option where all unseaworthy.
The killer argument for Christians is that Jesus supported a young earth/recent creation, the truth of Noah and the flood etc.
That or you believe in supported what he knew to be false as being true. A strange position to take for a sinless Son of God.

What does 'All Things' actually mean?
All things= sickness, redundancy, death of a loved one, abuse, loss of reputation.
Are just a few of the All Things, but do you recognise that they will work for your good?
What in God's sight is your ultimate 'good'?

may I suggest you read christian biographies and look out for the helpers.
Every great Christian is enabled to be great because he/she is aided by co workers, often unoticed, but doing vital work in the background.
Look out for them in your church as they put out tables, take away chairs, tidy up, wash up, get there early to prepare for a service, the ones who are Always at the prayer meetings, Always there on Sunday, Always there, Always helping.
A thought for you. What did Jesus mean when he said ' the first will be last and the last will be first.'
Was it purely a thing to do with time or about our idea of who is important?

If Jesus rose from the dead he is not some 'good, moral teacher' but God.
If he is God you need to be in a relationship with him.

Yes we are often impatient, yet the bible shows that people are being trained/prepared for a role in there daily tasks, Joseph sold as a slave to learn to manage a prison lare estate and finally a kingdom. Mosses was highly educated but had to learn to live in the desert as a shepperd, before leading the people of Israel.

Lets be real, how does ones church measure up to being challenging with the gospel, welcoming to the 'uncool' or unsmart visitor, and caring for those who don't fit into the 'Christian norm'.

Evolution isn't dependant only on matter, but on 100% pure chemical;s that are also 100% left handed.
There is also the problem of mixing the right quantity of chemicals in the right order.
The problem of folding the assembled protins so they fit into the cell and the problem of asembling the cell wall and its internal compounents.
This is apart from the problem of assembling the instructions that tell the cell how to operate etc and of the reading machine of those instructions.
It is far simpler to say evolution is not possible.

Pray for her peace of mind as the courts decide whether she can leave Pakestasn or is to be hanged.
Pray for the lawyers, judges and their families that they will be kept safe and that they won't be intimidated by the real threat of violence.
Pray that justice might be done.
Pray for her family and pray for Asia, for her mind as 8 years in solitary under threat of death will have damaged it.
Pray for the protestors and extreemists who call for her death, that they might meet with Jesus.
Pray for Christians in Pakestan and other muslim countries, that they will be safe, be able to go about their lives and able to gossip the gospel.
Pray for your contacts with muslims where you are, that you will recognise them and be able to talk to them about Jesus.

Why, after 9 years and groing silence that spells detatchment. So I recommend pushing for a regular weekly phone call, regular weekly emails and regular week;y texts, that are spread out through the week and your starting regular full time work ASAP.
You are hoping for marriage, you'll need savings for seting up home, and work is needed to build them up. If he is distancing himself, that also puts you out where the single fellers are.

No we are not the church as individuals, but as a group, as a body we are the church, the bride of Christ.
We are a temple for the Holy Spirit.
As you say we can worship our Saviour anywhere, we don't need a priest, or rituals, or robes, just a contrite heart and sincere spirit.
