Below is what was originally posted, but like most threads it went in a different direction for many got upset with one sentence more than addressing the concept of pacifying evil which too many try to do by the means of compromise. Unfortunately there is not compromising with evil for no compromise would ever be enough. I worship a God who does not compromise and when it comes to His absolute truths there should be no compromise. The fact that so many simply responded to my comment about a mask and ignored the rest reminds me of a story of a preacher who went up to the pulpit to deliver his message. He looked at the congregation and said, "There are thousands dying everyday due to the evil of abortion, and most don't seem to give a "#**##". He looked at the shocked faces of his congregation and then stated, "Most of you seem to be more upset that I cursed than by the fact that thousands each day die of abortion!" He then sat down. Shortest sermon perhaps in history but carries a powerful message. It applies to this thread. Most of you only want to defend your use of masks and seem to care nothing about the rest of the post. Christians need to wake up and be prepared to stand for light, to declare light and defend light against all the darkness that is permeating this world, for darkness is united and light is definitely divided. To seek to pacify evil and darkness only creates more evil and darkness for when light surrenders darkness increases in power. Do not bow down before evil and do not align yourself with evil, for the ones that some seek to appease only take your submission as a sign of subservience. I will not be forced to wear a mask as a sign of my submission and I will not bow down to members of a corrupt organization and apologize for my race, my faith, or my gender, for it is not penance that they seek, it is your submission and your defeat that is their goal. I bow in reverence, worship, and humility before the Lord God and the Lord Jesus, but I will not bow before men and women in submission to their false narrative and their wicked agenda.

Don't expect agreement with all I say just the respect to voice my viewpoint without accusations. Your statements seem misinformed and foolish to me but don't immediately say so. I bethinks you simply hate others to disagree with you. I have no doubt that people have died of the virus just as they have died of the flu, cancer, heart disease, car accidents, etc...(some of those being attributed to the virus). You state at your point in life..... can I assume that perhaps you are closer to asking the dead more than I?

But who decides if a fact is true or not? Give you an example as a Christian I believe that Saturday is the Sabbath and is holy. That the Lord God established it as such and no one has the right to change it. Yet most Christians believe otherwise though the Bible doesn't show that God changed the Sabbath to Sunday. So I have a written fact in scripture but it isn't accepted. This is what I see with much of the misinformation distributed about this virus. There are many so called experts that can't even agree. I believe there is a virus but it stops about there! OH by the way I do believe the earth rotates around the sun. So we are in agreement with this.

Oh but you see I don't believe in those so called Facts as you call them. They are rather opinions, false information, exaggerations, and lies behind a darker agenda. You can find many FACTS out there on the internet, in the news, etc... Since the false media, FACTS has taken a whole new meaning to me.

Oh, so quick to judge and proclaim that I am deceiving and that I am foolish. You must have one of the fastest pointing fingers in the west! Are all other opinions other than your own simply foolishness? We are suppose to be in a forum where opinions should be able to be spoken without such judgment. I know you are wrong as you feel that you know I am. But does your declaration make it so? It must be wonderful to think you hold all truth in this matter and that no other opinion matters! OH by the way you misspelled mask. But in case my opinion matters to any others ... I see you and many others of being deceived by the severity of this virus, by the false media, by the false numbers, by the false protection of masks, Plexiglas, social distancing and gloves. And I see too many in this world being deceived by darkness with an evil agenda orchestrating much of what I see happening around me.

Dance around? Well, maybe a little not because of more faith but because of the freedom from fear. Each day, I step forth with a song in my heart, a smile to my face and a dance to my steps.

The simple answer is with darkness and evil. Satan and his demons seek to destroy mankind. We as Christians fight in many fronts. We must fight lies with truth, deception with clarity, fear with faith, etc..... My dad had a true statement when he would tell me and my brothers to be different, to make change, to stand for something..... He would say that it takes a live fish to swim upstream.

Choice is fine. I disagree with the wearing of a mask, but I will not be forced to wear one and that is what I am talking about. The stores that insist upon it I don't shop. I live next door to my parents, none with lung disease but both in their 80's, they don't wear a mask when going out and don't expect me to around them. Some states made it mandatory to wear a mask, I haven't seen anyone making it mandatory not to wear one. I can't help but wonder why the social distancing, why the Plexiglas if the masks are so wonderful. Why do so masks come in boxes stating they will not protect from Covid 19? For me the mask is a way to get me to submit to the lies and agendas of those in darkness or in ignorance and unto those who walk and live in fear. But the lines have clearly been drawn in this matter and neither side is changing their minds. So wear your masks of various colors and designs and I will continue to live in faith and enjoy the life the Lord has given unto me. I will continue to see the mask as a sign of submission.

Evil does not have to be provoked. We as Christians are at war.

“Look at how a single candle can both defy and define the darkness.” … Anne Frank In the past the lies of darkness were subtle and veiled but those days have past and we live in a time when the lies of darkness are loud, obnoxious, and relentless and all subtlety and pretense are gone. The time has come when truth must also be proclaimed relentlessly and without wavering and the lies found in shaming others and in political correctness must be cast aside, for the lies of darkness have silenced many voices of truth. It is time for those who hold dear the principles and truths that made our nation great to rise up and to be bold and unrelenting. Never apologize for truth, and do not seek to compromise with those of the darkness for they do not seek your apology, they seek your destruction. That which is true, that which is good, just, and holy shall always be true, good, just, and holy and it is time to defend truth, to share truth, and to proclaim truth without wavering and without timidity and ambiguity.

Your worry is misplaced so please don't. I walk without fear or worry of the virus, I wear no mask. I honor "social distance" because of the fear of others in public places unless there is also no fear in another, then I am glad to share a hug or handshake. I have always washed my hands and think it is ridiculous to be told to do so.

Job 4:8, “Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.” Darkness and evil are to be expected when light and truth are removed and no longer taught and embraced. As a nation we are reaping the harvest that we have sown.

Obviously won't agree, for even if you are wrong you will never admit that wearing a mask is wrong, but it is submission to a false narrative. The face mask is a placebo for those living in either fear or ignorance. You don't think God would tell me that wearing a mask is a sign of submission? Amazing, that you are able to tell me what God would or would not say, but yet I can't. I also do not desire to argue, there is a fine line between discussing and arguing and I have crossed that line at times and have not been happy about it as I have seen you and others do as well.

If I came down with the virus I would stay home till I was well. Common sense.

I'm glad you don't feel that you are submitting. However, for me, it would be as I do not feel that a mask is necessary and there are many doctors out there that also agree. Must my disagreement be labeled as a spirit of rebellion? Sad.

Seems like a unjustified comment. I don't want to argue at all but to say that I receive leading from the Lord is truthfully what I hope all Christians would feel and believe. If you do not believe that the Lord prompts, leads and guides in your thoughts, words and actions then why claim to be Christian? If a Baptist minister speaks from the pulpit and believes that the Lord leads him, but he speaks what a Methodist does not believe. Does that mean he isn't prompted or led by God? Or visa versa? I know there isn't unity in light, but must all that be spoken first go through your own doctrinal grids and though your own wisdom?

I totally agree with you. The situation is bad enough right now but without the police standing the line there would be total chaos. I am saddened that the politicians are quick to jump on board trying to limit the police, when it is the criminals that need to be limited. I don't believe our whole nation will support this "disband the police" concept but there are a very cities out there will just the lack of leadership to try it and they will pay the consequences for it. I know everyone must stand against evil. I believe in the Lord's protection but as King David is portrayed in scripture, you can be a man of God and still fight. I keep a 20 gauge shotgun in my home not because I fear but just in case someone wants to break into my home.... in that case, I will make them a believer.

We've been getting a lot of rain lately but am loving this time of year. I love to be outside! Today, my wife and I are doing a little day trip to go to the peach capital of the world (here is South Carolina, of course) to get some boxes of peaches. We go to one of the orchards where they are picking them and boxing them for shipment. They turn the conveyor belt in our direction and box up some freshly picked and washed peaches for us. We always get several boxes, one for ourselves, some for family and for the church. We usually go there a couple of times during the summer. The trip is about a hour and a half. We have orchards near us but the price is better there and we enjoy the time together and the beautiful scenery. So, I agree, go outside, enjoy the sun, get out of the house and live a little!

I realized I have learned a few more things about the virus and our great leadership..... the value of the mask and staying at home! Social distancing works says our leaders yet. better to wear your mask. The mask really works but since it protects you, you should definitely get in other people's business and tell them they must wear one too, thus says our leaders. The mask really works thus we need to keep businesses closed. The mask really works but stay at home! Kids are least susceptible to the virus, so close the schools, stay at home and wear a mask. ALSO: Sunshine helps build the immunity against the virus, so stay indoors, at home and wear your mask. Herd immunity has been proven many times over, but stay at home and wear your mask. The virus is more viable with humans than animals, thus blame it on a bat, stay at home and wear your mask. Isolation increases depressions and suicide, but trust us, stay at home and wear your mask. Our economy is being devastated and people are losing their livelihood, but trust us, stay at home and wear your mask. This is a free country, we aren't trying to take away your rights, so be sure to report anyone who violates our unconstitutional verdicts, and stay at home and wear your mask. The elderly are more susceptible, so send those with the virus to the nursing homes but don't allow family there since family could encourage and help, trust us, stay at home and wear your mask. There is a need to do temperature testing and tracing since the mask works so well! best to stay at home and wear your mask. We are your leaders, we know what is best, trust us, stay at home and wear your mask. Keep all people at home but let the felons loose from the prisons and imprison anyone who fails to comply. So stay at home and wear your mask. OH, I also found out that those with O positive blood are the least likely to get the virus. I am O positive, so I better fear these leaders! I will now wear a necklace of garlic, stay at home and wear a mask! ?

Here are some amazing things we have learned about the Covid virus: 1. It is more deadly at churches than it is at Walmart, Home Depot, Target, Lowes, etc..... solution: Christians should be holding services at these stores! 2. The virus will only travel up to 6 feet, at 6 ft, 1 inch you are safe. 3. One Governor is allowing people at the beach but not in the water, thus the virus is more deadly in the water. 4. The food taken from drive through is not infected, but food from inside a restaurant is. 5. The virus is deadly in churches and small businesses but never in "essential businesses" 6. the 6 foot rule only applies frontward and backward but not sideways and doesn't apply when waiting in long lines to get into stores. 7. A mask protects you from the virus yet it is necessary for all to wear one since actually your mask won't protect? But if masks protect then why the 6 foot rule, and if social distancing works then why do small businesses have to be closed? When the virus first became "media-lized" masks we were told were non effective, as it collected the virus, then they changed their minds. So the virus is very complicated and particular. 8. The virus is apparently more deadly after dark thus many businesses have set new hours of closing to prevent this. 9. The virus is a respiratory sickness but it still requires lots of toilet paper to defend against it. 10. The virus strikes democrats more than republicans in the United States: Example: Deaths = 92,478 World meter 5/19, or is it the way they count these deaths?
