At what point should we refuse a mandatory vaccine or mark?
dad2 replied to dad2's topic in General Discussion
Perhaps some of the people who were lobotomized in the 50ies were told it was a great thing. Maybe some people who took some vaccines that had adverse effects were told it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Maybe...etc etc. If you have radiation therapy that is fine or if you refuse it that is fine. According to our faith. When it comes to the mark of the beast, well, that is not a matter of faith. That will need to be refused at any cost. When it comes to a possible mandatory vaccine that even possibly is connected to security technology that 'proves' you have had it, well, I am not so sure. I figure we may need to use science in this world...but not let it use us! Perhaps it may be less dramatic than that. People will choose a mandatory mark or/and vaccination if it came for other reasons. Maybe they fear not taking it would result in death or ill health. Maybe they would lose government benefits if they refused. Maybe they would have travel restricted and they really want to go to a tropical isle...etc. -

That is the question I asked. There are a lot around, but seem optional for the most part. According to your faith be it done unto you. One might say the same thing about a mandatory vaccine, it will be anything but hidden! -

That is not a big worry for me. I figure God is still in control and we all have a time to die. Nothing can change that. If it is time, well why worry about that? What does concern me is the reaction to the disease from governments, and potential future reactions. It seems like believers have no right to operate according to their own faith, because that is supposedly a health danger to the world. According to our faith be it done unto us. I have no interest in such tests myself, while most people I know do. I figure it is like going to a mechanic I don't trust to check my car. Chances are they might come back with a bill for thousands of dollars of repairs, many of which may not be needed. The medical system performs baby murders by the millions, makes all sorts of mistakes (medical error the third leading cause of death in the US for example) and something like 7-10 percent of maternal deaths are due to abortion as well...etc etc. That makes it like a 'mechanic' I don't really trust blindly. -

There seems to be more incentive with the people fearing death from disease to accept a mandatory intrusion into our bodies and freedom and privacy, than there might be just from a payment method for commerce alone. -

The question is whether taking a vaccine is the same as bowing the knee to the devil. -

Yes it is all temporary. However, refusing something that is mandated by law seems to be a serious choice. -

The place it mentions that the beast ascended from the pit is in Rev 11 where it talks of the two witnesses being raised from the dead at the very very very end. The beast was around for many years before this. Will we see him rise from a pit? Could we say of the same guy way back in the first part of the seven years, that he came from the pit also? How about before the guy came to power? I am not sure we should take any mark they dish out until wee see some bottomless pit open ip and a man float out of it? -

Potential dangers to a vaccine. Like the swine flu years ago. Could happen. -

Great, so if it is not mandatory, that is easier to refuse. People would probably accuse you of endangering your family and others though. -

What is temporary, the pandemic? The mark? The end times? -

I suppose even if this was not the mark of the beast, it is close enough that I could not blame people of faith for rejecting it. But talk is cheap, and if it is mandatory, there will be real consequences for people who evade the law. Probably most church people (like nominal Christians that don't really believe the bible, and think Revelations happened thousands of years ago etc) will be accusing you of being an enemy of God by not obeying the power. -

Speaking of context, apparently we have the beast here before he is revealed! Worship is a funny word. It can mean many things. Some people will consider it worshipping man anytime we put man before God in any way. That brings to mind the question, when does his mark come in? Is it at that moment when he openly defies God and declares himself God? Or was it here before that, remember he was ruling already to some extent before invading Israel. Interesting. Refusing could be a big problem. It could cost jobs. Freedoms. Money. Reputations. Etc. -
IN THE MIDST OF COVID19, WHAT'S NEXT IN BIBLE PROPHECY?

Since we are told it was in a week that He created the things spoken of in the beginning, and we know this heavens/universe is temporary, slated to pass away, we have been told. We were also told He is eternal. That means that He was doing stuff before the particular week He made us and this temporal universe. Not sure what that has to do with cons performing miracles. Try to make sense. -
Apparently many countries will make a vaccine mandatory. This may come with bio metric or technological enforcement some say. I do not think this will be the mark of the beast, but it certainly will be at least a big step forward toward it. My inclination would be to refuse any such mandatory intrusions into the body by government if at all possible legally. However, one must be careful about breaking the law. Generally, if travelling and forced to receive a vaccination, I would probably get the shot. At what point should a believer refuse a mark even at the cost of possible prison or death? I guess when the time comes that the mark of the beast is here, it will be obvious.

IN THE MIDST OF COVID19, WHAT'S NEXT IN BIBLE PROPHECY?

This universe was a part of a week's work for Jesus. He is eternal. Therefore I suspect that there is a lot of 'universes' out there we know nothing about. As for this heavens that we do know, apparently it will roll up like a scroll and be no more one day. The stars go dark. The sun goes out. I do agree that, since we will rule with Him that will include more than just being limited to earth. But I suspect that this ol universe is no limit either, by any stretch of the imagination. Eye has not seen, (Hubble has seen a lot) nor ear heard the things that God has (already) prepared for them that love Him. -
We can fall from a higher calling, but not from salvation. And even if we do fall many times, from things we were called to do, big deal! That is part of our training.

Oh? So they would have no need to receive an eternal body that is like Jesus's? Just because people go to be with the Lord where He is does not mean they have yet received a physical eternal body like Jesus has. You are guessing we don't know exactly who it will be. Caught ya. But if it were them, obviously they would not have an eternal body if it could be killed! No no no. It doesn't work like that. We will be like Him. Re 1:18 -I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. He can't be killed any more. -

No, of course he didn't. Only Jesus did that, and only He rose with an everlasting body...so far. That is because He was the first. -

The cluniac reform..seriously? The things people won't do to try and make a contrived timeline look important. You then go on to predict a year for His return? Really? Whatever time looks (could look like) to God Almighty, it looks very much like it looks to us down here. A day in creation to God still had a morning and an evening. -

First also means first. No one ever rose from the dead themselves but Jesus. He was the firstest and the strongest. -

Well if the 3 days really means thousands of year, why not make it millions or billions? If the wait Jesus did to visit His friend represents thousands of years, why not trillions of years? Why insert things? -

Reading between the lines is a good way to put it. God raised others from the dead also. However He was the Firstfruit. Ac 26:23 - That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles. 1 Cor 15:53 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Only Christ rose from the dead. The others that He rose from the dead did not rise but more or less got risen. Nor were they forever risen with eternal bodies. -

If a guy was buried as you say, how is it they were resurrected also? Seems to me it is one or the other. There is no body in the tomb of Jesus, it is empty. -

Sure, that could fit if people see something in the sky. However, I am not sure they will see Him or us at that time. They may see strange effects on the heavens etc. -

I looked at your article near the end. I saw this "“This is the first resurrection” actually refers to the resurrection of Moses in the third millennium. “Blessed and holy is he [Moses] that hath part in the first resurrection” " Sorry, that is patently ridiculous. Jesus is the firstfruits, and the resurrection and the life. Not Moses, or Daniel, or Adam etc etc.
