As described in Revelation, these two witnesses are two prophets. Rev 11:10 The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth. When the Lord brings major judgement, he always had two prophets to carry out the plagues -- 1) Moses and Aron - Egypt 2) The two angels who transformed into human beings - Sodom and Gamorrah The first prophet is Elijah, but I don't think he is the Elijah of the OT, just an "Elijah" with his powers. The other one is a mystery.

Purple lightning has been captured striking an area directly behind the Statue of Liberty as New York City was hit by a dramatic thunderstorm. The intense lightning rod was filmed from a dock on Ellis Island after the storm rolled over the city on Wednesday afternoon. To those of you good at reading maps and science, please tell me what you think of my findings. 1) The lightning struck behind the statue. I was wondering what it hit. Great perspective though." Judging from the video, I have to disagree with this. The ferry where the video was taken was in front of the statue. Ellis Island is farther away on the left side of the statue. As for the distance from the ferry to the statue, it's about 350 meters away. From the Statue to the flagpole, about 175 meters away. So, from the flagpole to the ferry it's about 525 meters away. The ferry has a route line on google map, so I measured from there. According to this user he said that there's about 10 secs lag between the bolt and the thunder. I disagree. I checked the video, it's only about 1.5 secs lag. The video was muffled by the uploader due to the noise of the wind, but I can still hear the thunder when the volume is set to max. I checked the temperature it's about 23 degrees centigrade according to timeanddate.com. At that temperature, sound travels at 349.99 m/s." So, to calculate the actual distance between the ferry and the flagpole where I believe the lightning hit: 349.99 x 1.5 secs lag = 524.98 meters. This is almost the same as the distance measured from google maps. Tell me what you think. Thanks.

I don't think Revelation should be read consecutively. It has to match the context. Otherwise, you'll see events happening twice or even thrice which doesn't make any sense at all. Page 1 of Revelation is not necessarily the story continuation of page 2. It has to match context by context, revelation by revelation, and not page by page. Otherwise, you'll see raptures happening here and there, you'll read Christians in heaven already and other Christians left behind on earth to face the wrath of the Devil. You'll also see the multitudes in white robes suddenly appearing in the storyline out of nowhere. It's all a confusing mess if we read it consecutively, page by page, and not context by context, revelation by revelation. The Seven seals are merely the overview of the 7 trumpets and 7 plagues. They are not 3 separate events where the seven seals will happen first, then the trumpets, and then the plagues. It's way too overkill. As I have mentioned, the 7 trumpets and the 7 plagues are the same events. The trumpets describe celestial events that will harm the earth. The plagues describe what will happen to people and living things physically after those celestial events. These events are in the hands of the two witnesses who were given power by the Lord, just like Moses. These 7 trumpets / 7 plagues are the wrath of the Lord Almighty which is already the tribulation, in which the 7th one is the GREAT TRIBULATION where the whole Universe will be annihilated. It was stopped only because of the elect who were left behind - the 144,000 Jews from all12 tribes.

Not sure whether I'm pre-wrath or post-trib according to what is commonly defined. Here is what I believe: "After the tribulation" of those days is simply referring to the last tribulation which is on the 7th Trumpet/7th Plague. Kindly note "AFTER the TRIBULATION" of those days, points to several tribulations that happened before it. There are a total of 7 tribulations, in which the 7th one is the great tribulation, the most devastating one of all. The 7 tribulations are actually the combination of the trumpets and plagues as I believe they go together and not separate events. The trumpets describe celestial events that will harm the earth. The plagues describe what will happen to people and living things physically after those celestial events. I'm not going to quote the verses as I want to make it as short as possible. 1st Tribulation: 1st trumpet / 1st plague Hundreds of thousands of iron rich meteorite fireballs fell to the the earth that lit up the whole sky. A third of the earth's trees and vegetation were set ablaze. Think of the recent fire that devastated Australia and California, but only this time, it is a worldwide catastrophe. Houses and properties were burned down and people suffered severe burns because of the fire. Meteorites that fell into the sea and lakes, reacted with the water and turned it into rusty blood red due to its iron-rich content. 2nd Tribulation: 2nd trumpet / 2nd plague A huge iron-rich asteroid fireball as large as a mountain fell into the ocean which, upon impact, killed a third of ocean life and destroyed a third of the world's shipping lines. Due to its iron-rich content, a third of the ocean turned rusty blood red and due to an unknown hazardous toxic chemical substance in the asteroid, it killed all life in the oceans. It's an extinction-level event of all life forms in the oceans. 3rd Tribulation: 3rd trumpet / 3rd plague An iron-rich blazing comet fell to the earth, specifically in freshwater sources where we get our from - reservoirs, rivers, lakes, etc. This comet is concentrated with Hydrocyanic acid or simply Cyanide. It made a third of the freshwater sources poisonous and whoever drank this, died of poisoning. Many people died of this cyanide poisoning. It also reacted with the water and turned it into rusty blood red due to its rich iron content. At this stage, water and food shortages will happen and famine will be widespread. Google cyanide (HCN) content of comets. 4th Tribulation:4th trumpet / 4th plague The sun suddenly developed huge sunspots. There was an electromagnetic disturbance in the sun which made it dimmed about a third. The day turned dark and the reflected lights from the moon and planets were also dimmed about a third. Then suddenly, the sun brightened so intensely that it scorched people. The heat was so intense that people cursed the name of the Lord. Google sunspots, solar flares, starspots, and superflares. 5th Tribulation, 1st WOE: 5th trumpet / 5th plague Apollyon, the messenger, has the key to the portal (bottomless pit or a pit without a bottom, a wormhole). When he opened the portal, alien beings invaded the earth. They were so numerous that they looked like thick black smoke that came out of a furnace. They covered the whole sky and the sun, and the earth was plunged into darkness. They had a king over them whose name is Apollyon and they did whatever he command them to do. He is the rider of the white horse who was given a crown and a bow, conquering and to conquer. He commanded the horde not to kill but to torture men for five months, but only to those who had the mark of the beast. The torture was so unbearable that men bit their tongue in extreme agony and wished to die instead but death will elude them. 6th Tribulation, 2nd WOE: 6th trumpet / 6th plague The four angels of the Euphrates were released to gather a great alien army that numbered 200 million strong. The great Euphrates river was dried up to prepare the armies of the East (ASIA) and the rest of the whole world. All the armies of the world, great and small, were present at Armageddon. The fighting ensued and a third of the world's armies were wiped out. After this, the false Christ comes out of the temple to battle with the two witnesses as not even the whole armies of the world can defeat them (Rev 11:7). They fought hard and long, but eventually, the false Messiah overpowered them and killed them. People around the world looked at them with amazement, but with contempt because they tormented the world with the plagues. People around the world celebrated this victory and gave gifts to one another and said, "Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him? The two witnesses were seen in the world as some kind of a super-villain with superpowers that can control celestial bodies. They are invincible as anyone who wishes to harm them will turn into a pile ash as they unleash fire that comes out from their mouths. Only the beast has the power to defeat them. 7th Tribulation, 3rd and last WOE, Matthew 24: 7th trumpet / 7th plague The catching up or the rapture happens at this stage because this tribulation is the GREAT TRIBULATION. If not stopped, this is the extinction of mankind and all life on earth. A severe earthquake will happen that every mountain and island was moved from its place. The earthquake was so severe that all the cities of the nations collapsed. We can see a mega monster tsunami happening at this event. On top of this, huge hailstones weighing a hundred pounds fell to the earth. And, also on top of this, the blue sky receded like a scroll when rolled up which indicates a disappearing atmosphere exposing people to radiation and intense heat from space. Breathing air will gradually disappear and people will be gasping for air. This is not a local event, where only the earth is affected, but the whole UNIVERSE. For the stars will no longer shine and the heavens will be shaken. Everything will be destroyed in fervent heat (2 Peter 3:12). No one will survive this GREAT TRIBULATION if not cut short. At this stage the 1st resurrection will occur and the dead in Christ will be raptured first, then, those who remained alive (survivors) will be ruptured next in heaven. We know for certain that the rapture is coming near when we see the two witnesses lie dead on the street. We count 3 1/2 days, then, the two witnesses will stand up on the 1st resurrection and be caught up in heaven, in an instant, in a twinkling of an eye. We will all be raptured in an instant together with them in the clouds. After this, the Lord, the Most High, will cut short this GREAT TRIBULATION, for the sake of his elect, the sealed ones of the Holy Spirit, the 144,000 Israelite. For they must be purified in the furnace of this Great Tribulation. Then, the Lord will send his angels to gather them to Him. After this, the WRATH OF THE LAMB comes, together with his ruptured saints to wipe out what remains of the world's army. - The two witnesses will deliver these tribulations when the beast (the false Christ) will sit on the throne of the 3rd temple of Jerusalem. The false Messiah will persecute the true Christians during these trying times because they simply refused to worship him and take his currency which is his mark. Their properties will be taken away from them and they can no longer buy anything. No one will employ them or buy their goods or services without the mark. Christians must endure for 3.5 years with nothing at all. Your family, friends, Christian brothers and sisters, and pastors will betray you and have you put to death or thrown in prison. I believe the one-world religion will be Christianity for the beast will claim that he is the Christ and will deceive many with his power and miracles. The two witnesses will warn people not to harm the true Christians and to repent of their murders, theft, idolatry, devil worship, witchcraft, and etc. Otherwise, they will suffer the consequences of the tribulations - all those who took the mark of the beast and worship the devil. "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. You kill one of us, I'll wipe you out with fire that comes out from my breath and unleash terrible plagues that only exist in your nightmares".

I believe the name "Elijah" is merely a name assigned to a specially anointed person and not necessarily "The Elijah" that was caught up in the whirlwind. The Elijah that will come before the dreadful day of the Lord, I believe, just like John, is another specially anointed Christian during the end times. The original Elijah is already in heaven and will not return to earth for a specific end time mission.
