So i have a choice between Catholicism and other such teachings i dont agree with, or the watchtower.

A teacher may teach Catholicism or something else i dont agree with. But the bible itself doesnt do that.` So for me its wise to seek unpolluted doctrine found in scripture. Also some people seek out teachers that tickle their ears but that is not wisdom.

Thank you but what do they teach us? Its my opinion that you can learn from the writings of the Lord and His apostles. What can a teacher teach us that they haven't already?

It would be nice if the news media, social media, BLM and politicians focused on that, but they don't that i have seen, they just look the other way it seems.

I believe the Spirit teaches us, and convicts us of sin which leads to repentance. Perhaps this man was not following the Spirit at all. I don't know but is the Spirit intellectual? Or maybe i should also ask if the bible is an intellectual writing? If you consider examining oneself for flaws as intellectual then i might agree. I once heard a guy say that being highly educated doesn't make you an intellectual. A doctor for example is not an intellectual necessarily. If that's true, then what exactly is an intellectual and is the Spirit intellectual?

I would call them liberal extremists. They accuse America of evil and Israel as well. Its they who have broad brushed all police and accused them of evil. They falsely accused Trump of racism and they do the same to just about any conservative. I worked with some of them many years ago. They accused me of being in the KKK because i was a conservative.

My goodness, i was not degrading plumbers. Show me where i did that please. They have knowledge and skill same as others do, i was just saying having plumbing knowledge doesnt make you intellectual. My point being not all knowledge is considered intellectualism. I feel as if you are falsely accusing me of degrading others.

Is biblical knowledge intellectual? Or is it more of a moral guide in Spirituality? Its full of knowledge but if knowledge is intellectualism than a plumber is an intellectual. I dont know, just pondering it.

James said the faith of the righteous (elders) will heal people. So why are we blaming the sick for not having enough faith? James 5:14 Is anyone among you sick? You can fake healings, but not growing limbs.

Show me one guy who had the Lord restore a limb. Some people are born without limbs. They never get healed. Why?

I know. ST Jude's hospital treats kids with cancer and Shriners treats kids with disabilities. These so called healers never go there however.

Timothy had illness but he was a student of a real apostle. I dont demand nor expect healing. All i ask of God is that He save me. Sure i pray for healing, but i'm much more interested in the new man who is incorruptible and will not decay. I want to see the place where God wipes away every tear. Thats my focus. I asked the Lord to show me the end of my days so i would know my life is just a vapor, here today and gone tomorrow. Who is to say my illness isnt really a blessing?
