  1. Isn't misquoting someone breaching the TOS? You have half quoted me and out of context. Appalling. However, it does lead me to question what you consider "good" and "evil". Yahweh has a pretty conclusive list, one of which is "Do not bear false witness against your neighbor". The quotes you used are sadly misplaced in this context. Proverbs 3:27 is referring to "the deserving" in the context of personal relationships i.e. our neighbors. Yes, and that includes the man lying injured on the street that we walk down. Does it mean in the context of interfering in a war between two wicked nations? Well, if there are any scriptural examples of that, then yes. If not, then no. Micah 2:1 cannot be taken out of the context in which it was written to Israel unless you know what "evil" Yahweh was referring to outside of its context. As far as James is concerned, we should probably start a little further up the page: So then subject yourselves to Elohim. Resist the devil and he shall flee from you. Draw near to Elohim and He shall draw near to you. Cleanse hands, sinners. and cleanse the heart, you double-minded! Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to dejection. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Master and He shall lift you up. Brothers, do not speak against one another. He that speaks against a brother and judges his brother, speaks against Torah and judges Torah. And if you judge Torah, you are not a doer of Torah but a judge. There is one Lawgiver and Judge, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another? Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow, let us go to such and such a city, spend a year there, and trade, and make a profit," when you do not know of tomorrow. For what is your life. For it is a vapor that appears for a little, and then disappears - instead of your saying, "If the Master desires, we shall live and do this or that." But now you boast in your proud speeches. All such boasting is wicked. To him, then, who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. (James 4:7-17) The context matters. Please do not partially quote me out of context again. Regarding Wesley, I know he's popular but his understanding of the word "good" was limited, in my opinion, as defined by the scriptures.
  2. It was not meant to be personal. I don't know you. I have edited my comment to make it more general as intended.
  3. There is absolutely a bigger picture which clearly many cannot see because media outlets have given the world tunnel vision. I cannot say that I have all the information I would like, yet, according to the scriptures, these things will be happening more and more. We only see "all things darkly". Are we going to lurch into crisis mode at each and every one, or rather prepare ourselves, our families, our brethren to get or stay in covenant with the Father AS HE TELLS US to do. Obedience to His Word is a tough one for most of us, yet the ONLY thing that pleases Him. I am not in favor of evil or good; I am wholly sold out to the will of Yahweh, that way there is no "favor" or question about where my allegiance lies. Shalom.
  4. This is an excellent example of taking scriptures out of their context and using them in an entirely irrelevant one. The parable of the Good Samaritan was used to show the hypocrisy of the Scribes and Pharisees at ignoring those in need on their own doorstep. You may attempt to transpose the situation into a conflict you really know nothing about by charging in with your "aid" and many opinions. However, would exactly would you have Yahweh, the King of the Universe do about this current situation, that has been festering for years, perpetrated by evil and greed on both sides, to do about it? Please tell me exactly what you think Yahweh should do? I would never presume such a thing.
  5. I am glad to see someone is open to the "bigger picture". Another poster commented that there are wars going on all over, yet we are jumping to comment on this particular one. Why? Because we are being manipulated to do so in the interests of, YES, the New World Order. Why am I more concerned with that right now? Because that will end all opportunities to live out our beliefs in total freedom. Time is running out. This Russia/Ukraine war is not an "Ark" we have any right to steady, except to stroke our own egos and manipulate others with by posting (possibly real, who knows?) photos of wounded children in order to further an agenda we have no direct knowledge of, but are making massive assumptions about. Yahweh has this all in hand. I personally will pray that He draws many to Himself during this time and reveals the truth to them of how to live a life pleasing to Him according to the scriptures.
  6. I rarely comment on topics on worthychristianforums.com. However, I am shocked to see how so many people have bought into the propaganda machine of the media. Putin is one of the ONLY world leaders against the NWO. Why are people supporting Ukraine, a country deemed one of the "most corrupt" nations in the world (Ernst & Young 2012), THE most corrupt in Europe by The Guardian newspaper in 2015 and the 9th most corrupt in the world in 2017. Ukraine, even by its own people, admits it lives in a culture of bribery and corruption. What are we praying for exactly?
  7. The Greek word "apostasia" is mentioned only twice in the NT, but I will assume that the OP is in relation to 2 Thessalonians 2:3 where it is translated usually as "falling away", or "rebellion". Rebellion, in the context of the entire chapter, is to do with rebelling against the knowledge and practice of the truth of Yahweh's law, hence several references to "lawlessness" (Greek anomia), sometimes translated as "perdition", iniquity, etc. What, then, is this lawlessness being referred to? Matthew 7 speaks of bearing fruit and: 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in Your name, and drive out demons in Your name, and perform many miracles in Your name?’ 23 Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you. Get away from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’” So what is lawlessness in relation to here? I would suggest it is keeping the instructions of Yahweh (Torah in the Hebrew). How about the Parable of the Sower in Matthew 13: 37 He answered, “The one sowing the good seed is the Son of Man, 38 and the field is the world. And the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the weeds are the sons of the evil one. 39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. 40 Therefore just as the weeds are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks[e] and those who practice lawlessness. 42 They will throw them into the fiery furnace[f]; in that place will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun[g] in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear! I John: 4 Everyone practicing sin also practices lawlessness—indeed, sin is lawlessness. Now consider for a moment those things that Yahweh calls an abomination. It's quite a list: Leviticus 11:11 - eating unclean animals. Leviticus 18:26 - various types of sexual immorality. Deuteronomy 18:12 - people who practice witchcraft in any form. Deuteronomy 22:25 - transgenderism. Deuteronomy 24:3-5 - remarrying a former spouse after being married to another. Deuteronomy 27:15 - making graven images. And to sum up in general context with Luke 16:15 "Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God." There is only one measure throughout all the scriptures for apostasy, and that is failing to keep Yahweh's commandments as they pertain to us as individuals today. For example, I am a woman, therefore I cannot keep those pertaining to a man. There is no current Levitical Priesthood, therefore those commandments are on hold until the Levitical Priesthood is reestablished during the Millennium according to Ezekiel 43. If I am a farmer, I must adhere to the seven year cycles of the land etc. The "Jesus" that is preached in literally every church I have attended is a far cry from the Yeshua I know as my Messiah. Yes, lawlessness abounds, rebellion is rife, mostly because the great majority of Christians have never been taught properly or really understood what the scriptures are saying within their Hebraic context. There has been strong delusion since the beginning. Why else would the NT writers implore their audiences so strongly to adhere to the truth? Shalom.
  8. Congratulations on becoming a mother for the third time! You are truly blessed to be giving birth once again. Childbirth has been a "curse" since the beginning and is rarely easy. I think it is important to note that "modern" medicine has both helped and harmed the birthing process. The confusion and stress you are experiencing right now are as a result of pressure from your husband, doctors and the plethora of information available to you in the form of other peoples' opinion. Ultimately, you know your own body and what it is capable of. You've already had one VBAC. Did it go well overall, and did the Father bless you? Depending also which country you reside in will make a difference. If you are in Britain, then midwife delivery is normal in a hospital with doctors available for emergency situations. In the US, which it sounds like, you might have to make the choice up front, and your delivery will be much more controlled. As a mother of ten, I have experienced the whole gamut of deliveries (and traumas), including blood loss and such. I think the real question here is how to honor your Creator. In an unequally yoked marriage, that is a hard thing to do. However, for the child's sake, the crucial choice is whether or not to be in agreement with your husband. Whether you consider 1 Corinthians 7, or Titus 2 4-6, or Ephesians 5:24 etc., you have chosen your husband to be subject to him. Clearly, if his advice is to drive into a lake then do not do it! However, you have chosen to marry an unbeliever who relies upon the world's way of doing things and you must now be subject to his instruction, unless he breaks Yahweh's commandments, which he is not in this situation. There are always three voices in your head vying for your attention: yours, the enemy, and that still, small voice of the Father. The scriptural way is to submit to your husbands advice, or choice here, because he believes it is in yours, and your baby's best interest. The Father will bless you for doing what He requires in terms of submitting to your husband. Shalom.
  9. I have been called to teach. There are many functions of a "teacher" within the body of believers, and the way the modern day mainstream church is set up, there is little room for much actual teaching and discipleship. The notion of the "sermon" is not biblical: one man standing before a large crowd, effectively orating. It is a Greco-Roman idea (where we get today's college lecture format from). The pulpit or lectern is the same, although was used in pagan societies to give instructions to crowds. Teaching in the scriptures, even by Yeshua, is direct instructions from the scriptures. Yeshua's parables and sayings are contextually and idiomatically relevant to the Hebrews of the day, and require some study to benefit fully from our poor English translations. The scriptures exhort us to edify each other, so that eventually we might all teach: A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher. Luke 6:40 But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect. 1Peter 3:15 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:19 Shalom.
