  1. God does not do the punishing but He can take away His hedge of protection and allow Satan and or any other nation or people to do the punishing. Take Job and King David for instance.
  2. Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to search it out.
  3. Acts 27:9 By now much time had passed, and the voyage had already become dangerous because it was after the Fast. So Paul advised them,
  4. My mistake. I was thinking Pre-trib rapture. The rapture is another word for being caught up with the Lord during the time of the first ressurection after the time of tribulation. Most of God's own Church(the bride of Christ) will be taken to a place of safety before the tribulation begins.
  5. I do not pretend but let God's words direct my understanding. I said..."How do you explain the two different words as in Genesis 1:1 "created" (bara) - and the rest of creation with the word "made." (asa)" You did not give me a sensicle answer. I did not say the only time 'bara" was used in Genesis. It is obvious that the word "created" was used more than once instead of "make." The initial comments were about the creation and making of the earth. You said..."God created a light source (not the sun) on the first day.On the fourth day, God made our sun and moon." Simple. Seems to me that this is not biblical and mere speculation as opposed to using the Bibles wording as a source of reference and understanding.
  6. There is no error in my question. What you fail to understand is that the word "Bara" is a creation of something from nothing. Genesis 1:1,21,27. The word "Asa" to "make" something from an already "created" material. Simple! Your answers are a creation of your own understanding and not that of the Bible.
  7. How do you explain the two different words as in Genesis 1:1 "created" (bara) - and the rest of creation with the word "made." (asa)
  8. What was the light source if it wasn't the sun, moon or stars...and why?
  9. How do you explain day and night on the first day and on the fourth day God made the two great lights for day and night? - asa not bara. 3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. 14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.
  10. We are to live by every word. The Olivet discourse is also paralleled with the 4 horseman in the book of Revelation from Jesus again. We don't know the exact hour but we can know the signs of His coming.
  11. Genesis 1:1 - First sentence finished, complete and perfect. God cannot and would not create something in chaos and disorder.
  12. The word "created" in Genesis 1:1 is from the Hebrew "bara"-of something new. The word "made" in Genesis 1:7 and so on, is Hebrew "asa" - to fashion, make from an already existing thing. Adam and Eve were told to "replenish"mala" the earth- to accomplish, complete. All this would suggest that God made the earth perfect,as He always does, and something caused His creation to be distroyed into chaos and darkness.
  13. The KJV translates Strong's H1961 in the following manner: was, come to pass, came, has been, were happened, become, pertained. It makes no sense for God to create something in the beginning void and chaotic.I should add that God is not the author of chaos disorder and confusion.. 1 Corinthians 14:33
  14. Genesis 1 verse 1...God created the heavens and the earth, not in vain(tohu) See Isaiah 45:18 Genesis 1 verse 2...The earth became tohu bohu...waste and void. When God and the Word created all things, all things were made perfect.
  15. It is un-scriptural, Period.
