Sigh.... It is not me making a mountain out of a molehill and creating drama where there need not be.. I wasn't the one who reported anyone. Neither was I the one who publicly made it known that my thread was being closed/locked. When did I imply this? This is in your mind only.... When you yourself have removed your tree, then you will see clearly to remove my speck... The Lord will reveal at His coming, who our true brothers & sisters in the Faith are, as sadly there are many infiltrators/tares/goats. It is very difficult to know in an on-line Forum, who truly is serving the Lord, and who is just serving themselves. I share my light, by endevouring to share Truth. .....take heed

Like I said, I had no idea that the Forums moderators hadn’t watched the Paul Washer vid snippets I had posted. For approximately one month. Each video needs to be watched by and approved by a moderator, before it is published here on Worthy. In the future, submit each one in a separate thread. It could be Paul Washer wisdom #1, Paul Washer wisdom #2, etc., but they need to be individually vetted. “Because thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the LORD, when thou heardest what I spake against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith the LORD.” 2 Kings 22:19 This tenderness of heart was a mark in Josiah, on which the Lord, so to speak, put his finger; it was a special token for good which God selected from all the rest, as a testimony in his favour. The heart is always tender which God has touched with his finger; this tenderness being the fruit of the impression of the Lord’s hand upon the conscience. You may know the difference between a natural conscience and a heart tender in God’s fear by this, that the natural conscience is always superstitious and uncertain; as the Lord says, it “strains out a gnat, and swallows a camel.” It is exceedingly observant of self-inflicted austerities, and very fearful of breaking through self-imposed rules; and whilst it will commit sin which a man who has the fear of God in his heart would not do for the world, it will stumble at mere unimportant trifles at which an enlightened soul would not feel the least scruple. Matthew Henry Commentary on 2 Corinthians 5:9-15 The apostle quickens himself and others to acts of duty. Well-grounded hopes of heaven will not encourage sloth and sinful security. Let all consider the judgment to come, which is called, The terror of the Lord. Knowing what terrible vengeance the Lord would execute upon the workers of iniquity, the apostle and his brethren used every argument and persuasion, to lead men to believe in the Lord Jesus, and to act as his disciples. Their zeal and diligence were for the glory of God and the good of the church. Christ's love to us will have a like effect upon us, if duly considered and rightly judged. All were lost and undone, dead and ruined, slaves to sin, having no power to deliver themselves, and must have remained thus miserable for ever, if Christ had not died. We should not make ourselves, but Christ, the end of our living and actions. A Christian's life should be devoted to Christ. Alas, how many show the worthlessness of their professed faith and love, by living to themselves and to the world! ----------------------------------------- What does 2 Corinthians 5:10 mean? One motivation to please God is Paul's knowledge that he will be judged by Christ for his works in this life. Paul insists that all believers in Jesus will appear before the judgment seat of Christ when He returns to earth. Paul is clear in his letters that this judgment is not about salvation. The judgment seat of Christ is something exclusively for believers, as Christ's evaluation of our works on earth. This refers to an assessment of what each saved, heaven-bound Christian has done "in the body" since coming to faith in Christ. How has he or she used this life in Christ? What have they done, for good or for evil? Paul wrote in Romans 14:12 that each believer will "give an account of himself to God." How will Christ respond? Every good action will be rewarded. Christians will receive those efforts "back from the Lord" (Ephesians 6:8). The works of those who have lived only for themselves, however, will be "burned up" or shown to be worthless. "If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire" (1 Corinthians 3:15). Paul is motivated by the awareness of this coming judgment, and he wants his readers to be motivated by it, as well. God's grace to us in forgiving sin does not mean He's careless about how Christians live our earthly lives. We will stand before Him and be held to account for our choices. That accountability does not affect our eternal destiny. It declares our time as spent well or foolishly, courageously or cowardly, in faith or in spiritual blindness and selfishness. The consequences of reward or reprimand in that moment will be genuinely pleasurable and/or painful, based on the choices we have made in our bodies on this side of eternity. Thanks so much for sharing @AdHoc … I would only add, maybe to give a fuller picture…that sadly the Apostasy has also begun in the Pulpit, those who lead gatherings, and is not reserved to the Pew sitters. Sadly there are leaders of gatherings who instead of leading the true sheep in both increasing righteousness and holiness, indulge in as much unrighteousness and unholiness as the wilfully sinning congregant. … if the elders/deacons don’t deal with the Pulpit dweller/ remove him/excommunicate him, but allow him to continue in his position, they will be held to a much greater account before our Lord…
