  1. You explained my stand better than I did. I never did good in school I generally make a mess explaining my thoughts.
  2. I could easily agree with you.
  3. 1 cor 14 has several verses that agree with my post. My milk says tongue ok in private prayer tongue in a group needs interpreter.
  4. You are right speaking tongues when in prayer alone. The Bible is clear if tongues are spoken in a group there must be one to interpret. I said nothing about prophesy. If that remark is directed at me let me say what I believe or print has a verse in th NT to back up what I say.
  5. I'm not doubting the Holy Spirit indwelling. To me the Bible makes it clear tongues is speaking in other human language. And the Bible is also clear there must be an interpreter. I've seen many say they speak in tongues never seen them use interupter.
  6. I agree with these verses. I do think God give the gift of tongues. My belief is speaking tongues is only other language like an American speaking in tongues can speak Russian or Japanese.
  7. My understanding may be wrong. I am thinking Judaism is Israel under the law. It will last til Jesus returns. I forgot where but I read Jesus will judge Israel by the law and everyone else w/o the law. Hope I make sense in this post.
  8. I have decided I am a new covenant believer. Eph 2 15 is clear to me. How ever some believe that the Ten must be kept even under the new covenant. I'm interested in the actual verses that make them believe the Ten must be kept thanks.
  9. OK I have seen and heard people speaking in tongues and imo they are making up words that do not exist. In Acts 2: 3-8 it clearly explains tongues as other human language not made up words. How do others believe or not believe in tongues. Also 1 Corin 14:27-28 says must be an interpreter.. and again imo one could only interpret another human tongue. Thanks
  10. Eph2:15 says all law was done away with. The new covenant is all about faith in Jesus as John 1:1 and john 3:16. Jesus and his decides were teaching new covenant jews did not like it so they had him crucified. New Covenant still require no sinning. Sorry for the under line no idea how that happened. Thank for your thoughts
  11. Some believe the Ten Commandments are still to be followed and some don't. I am trying to collect the verses people believe back up the belief to still keep them. I've only found about five or six. Are there more I'm missing. OK I am editing this post. I am only looking for the verses that support keeping the ten commandments. I appreciate that people are explaining what and how the transition from law to new covenant was carried out. But I am only lookin for the corroboration that people use to believe in keeping the ten.
  12. Isn't that for Israel they are under the law of 1st covenant
  13. I too was left handed and made to be right handed at school it was a pain. I'm right handed to day but I do have a Pic of myself as a kid with a left handed cap pistol hanging on my hip.
  14. Eph 2: 11-15 and 19-22 to me these clarify where gentiles should stand but I find many have different beliefs
