  1. We know that our God is not into reincarnation. I think if you say a person has the same spirit ( not talking Holy Spirit, although both will be filled by the Holy Spirit) but like John the Baptism, Jesus said he was Elijah, and that Elijah would come again. I believe John the Baptist and Elijah are two separate people, but cut from the same cloth. Its how i see the 2 Witnesses (in the likeness of Elijah and Moses) We know Moses died. I really believe the fire being spoken of is God's Word.
  2. No I did not forget the word of God but it's not taught anywhere at least in my lifetime that the Jews believed in more of a presence of two versus one God. And a few weeks ago I was approached by Jehovah Witnesses who I don't really shy away from people when they want to talk about God. And when they wanted to continue with the issue about one God in Old Testament terms I delved into the Bible even more than I have been and discovered the grammar error of the English Bibles. This gave me the proof that I needed to Stand My Ground with the Jehovah Witnesses.
  3. I know there are many who make out that science is the great enemy of God. But that premise is just falsehood and misplaced blame. Everything that comes from God is Good, flawless. This includes all the sciences. We err and forget, Satan is the father of lies. Satan is obsessed with his jealousy of God and hatred of mankind. What better way to destroy everything of God then to demonize everything that comes from God. Science proves the existence of God, but it is the devil that corrupts same science as a way to deceive mankind.
  4. There was something that came to my mind after posting that. I remember reading in the scripture, love is the fire of God, or something like that.
  5. I was ploughing through Revelations last night, when i started reading about the Two Witnesses. When i read, fire will come from thier mouths. I laughed (fire breathing dragons, i thought) What is that supposed to mean? Anyone?
  6. Not so much a hard learned lessen. But still something i had to learn. As much as i might think what i want to say is important, that there is a time and place for it, and that is in God's hands and not mine
  7. Even if i were afflicted by the memories of my past, posting those experiences would be too graphic for this audience. The other problem, in confessing, even in a private chat. Leading others to sin, even in thier thoughts
  8. To "follow the will of God" is what scripture says to do. 🙄
  9. Have to admit im a little apprehensive about sharing too much in depth. It isn't i am affraid to talk about my experience. It is more, i think Goerge's concerns are rubbing off on me. About titillating the ears of even the adults. As one member came across "too" interested (i could feel it) in a private pm. I feel i have a responcibility not to get into too much detail, as it isnt so important.
  10. I havent thought about the "man-like" part. I was looking at the many times the "Spirit of God" was mentioned.
  11. Did not know i needed to, Goerge wasnt clear on that
  12. I realize everyone here has many years experience in scripture study over myself. Yet sometimes the strangest things come from the new person. I have always been meticulous and one for detail. The Hebrews wrote the scriptures with words made only for God, Thier God. Unlike the neighboring nations with many single Gods. The Hebrew's recognized, Thier God was Two in One. God and the Spirit of God. Remember, Scripture states that Jesus had not yet been revealed to them. And even though Jesus said He would send the Paraclete ( the Holy Spirit) this doesnt mean, the Spirit wasn't there before. The proof of this isn't only written in the Scripture for all to see. But is also shown by the very words used in the Hebrew language. Where God speaks to Moses, "I am who am" 👈 this is the closest English translation. The literal translation is "I's am whom am". Notice the singular plural noun. Hebrew's knew long ago, Our God, thier God was One and more than One Being.
  13. George had send to me a message about posting on the adult message board. I was just asking about the password.
  14. Do i need a password to get into the adult section?
  15. Is it ok if i follow you. I would like to read your thoughts on verious subjects, lisa
  16. Agreed . I have noticed, if you ask a direct question, either the person avoids it. Or changes the subject all together. Sometimes, i have felt the question to be useless. Like asking a person if they are a Christian. Like answering yes to that was proof of the pudding. At those clubs i was involved in. Preachers would come in and participate in thier events. I asked a few, are you a Christians? And he said yes. Let me tell you, my view of Christians went into the toilet for a long time after that. Calling yourself a Christian doesnt make you one, as the scripture states. Following the will of God does
  17. When you say they, what comes to my mine is , the present - we as well, will not know when until the sixth seal
  18. The Great Day of the Lord. A friend pointed out to me, the Seals will be breaking and no one will notice them for what they are. But on the Breaking of the Six Seal, the very last line reads. Run and hide, for the great day of the Lord has come. ( dont have my bible in hand, but that is about it )
  19. Who cares if it is under attack. Live your life in accordance to the scripture, follow Jesus. And dont worry about it.
  20. I sometimes think the whole issue on the rapture is like smoke and mirrors to Christians. To keep them preoccupied and out of the picture. For Satan to go about his work, unhindered by Christians. While the Christians are predominantly fixated on the rapture
  21. I have a question with all this pre post stuff. Shouldn't we be the vessels of the Lord, for Him to choose when to use us. Also, i thought scripture tells us to go out to the world. To be the children of God to all. To become a beacon for all to see. Isnt worrying about when we are going 'a lot' 'self' gratifying. Shouldnt we be about our Father's business, instead of our own?
