  1. Revelation 2:11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death. Just a couple of observations as I was listening to the Spirit on being an over-comer, and He mentioned "the second death". I knew of this statement made at the close of one of the messages to the churches. If one aspect of being an over-comer is deliverance from the second death, this implies that those who fail to overcome will be held accountable by the same ministration. To be an over-comer also reflects in my mind upon these words of Christ: "but he who endures to the end will be saved". Matthew 24:13 The second observation is the statement "shall not be hurt by the 2nd death." This reflects in my mind upon this teaching by Paul: 1 Corinthians 3:15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. And then John: 1 John 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death. All judgment is directly proportional to each individual's life works (i.e. a just recompense of reward/punishment) and the lake of fire is able to be applied to each individual proportionally. Some escape unharmed, some suffer great loss, but are saved. And then there are acts of unrighteousness that are unto death, and we are instructed to not even pray over those sins. 16 If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that. The remaining statements with regards to the second death are found in Revelation 20/21. Revelation 20: 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. The second death has no power over them, for they refused to worship the Beast. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. Revelation 20:14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. After the final judgment, there is no longer death, or a place for Hades. Revelation 21: 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Over-comers in the last days refuse to worship the beast or receive his mark. They are blessed with victory over the second death, and reign for 1000 years. This is the first of two end times resurrections. 5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. They are those who receive a full reward of inheritance. 2 John 1:8 Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.
  2. 1 Peter 5: 10 May the God of all grace, who calls us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, make you perfect, established, strengthened, and settled. 11 To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. Established=steadfast, set firm and stable. G4741 - stērizō Establish Your Hearts 1 Thessalonians 3: 12 And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you, 13 so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints. Kept From Evil 2 Thessalonians 3: 3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 4 And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, both that you do and will do the things we command you. 5 Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.
  3. A reprobate mind or the mind of Christ, an introduction Proverbs 16:3 Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established. Your thoughts-[H4284] mahasabha=plans, devices, intentions, creativity. This strikes at the very heart of redemption for fallen man to be re-established in the image of the Son, through the mind of Christ. Genesis 6:5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent(frame) of the thoughts(mahasabha) of his heart was only evil continually. Fallen man became unable to frame his thoughts in accordance with the divine mind of which he had been created, but had now corrupted. Isaiah 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts(mahasabha): and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my mahasabha are not your mahasabha, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my mahasabha than your mahasabha. In order to accomplish His intentions for the congregation in the wilderness, the Lord had to provide a special dispensation of grace upon chosen men to receive His mahasabha. Exodus 35:31 And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship; 32 And to devise mahasabha, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass. 33 And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of mahasabha. 35 Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise mahasabha. By the time of Jeremiah, the people of Jerusalem were completely of a reprobate mind, and unable to receive correction. Jeremiah 18:11 Now therefore, speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus says the Lord: Behold, I am fashioning a disaster and devising My Mahasabha against you. Return now everyone from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good. 12 And they said, That is hopeless! So we will walk according to our own mahasabha, and we will all obey the dictates of an evil heart. And yet, through it all, the Lord remained faithful to His future plans for His people. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the mahasabha that I think toward you, says the Lord, mahasabha of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
  4. Ezekiel 27:3 and say to Tyre, ‘You who are situated at the entrance of the sea, merchant of the peoples on many coast lands, thus says the Lord God: Isaiah 23: 17 And it shall be, at the end of seventy years, that the Lord will deal with Tyre. She will return to her hire, and commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world on the face of the earth. 18 Her gain and her pay will be set apart for the Lord; it will not be treasured nor laid up, for her gain will be for those who dwell before the Lord, to eat sufficiently, and for fine clothing. Revelation 18: 2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! 3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury. Ezekiel 27: 12 Tarshish was your merchant because of your many luxury goods. They gave you silver, iron, tin, and lead for your goods. 13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech were your traders. They bartered human lives and vessels of bronze for your merchandise. 14 Those from the house of Togarmah traded for your wares with horses, steeds, and mules. 15 The men of Dedan were your traders; many isles were the market of your hand. They brought you ivory tusks and ebony as payment. 16 Syria was your merchant because of the abundance of goods you made. They gave you for your wares emeralds, purple, embroidery, fine linen, corals, and rubies. 17 Judah and the land of Israel were your traders. They traded for your merchandise wheat of Minnith, millet, honey, oil, and balm. 18 Damascus was your merchant because of the abundance of goods you made, because of your many luxury items, with the wine of Helbon and with white wool. 19 Dan and Javan paid for your wares, traversing back and forth. Wrought iron, cassia, and cane were among your merchandise. 20 Dedan was your merchant in saddle cloths for riding. 21 Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were your regular merchants. They traded with you in lambs, rams, and goats. 22 The merchants of Sheba and Raamah were your merchants. They traded for your wares the choicest spices, all kinds of precious stones, and gold. 23 Haran, Canneh, Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Assyria, and Chilmad were your merchants. 24 These were your merchants in choice items—in purple clothes, in embroidered garments, in chests of multicolored apparel, in sturdy woven cords, which were in your marketplace. Revelation 18: 11 And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore: 12 merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble; 13 and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and bodies and souls of men. 14 The fruit that your soul longed for has gone from you, and all the things which are rich and splendid have gone from you, and you shall find them no more at all. Ezekiel 26: 18 Now the coast lands tremble on the day of your fall; Yes, the coast lands by the sea are troubled at your departure. 19 For thus says the Lord God: When I make you a desolate city, like cities that are not inhabited, when I bring the deep upon you, and great waters cover you, 20 then I will bring you down with those who descend into the Pit, to the people of old, and I will make you dwell in the lowest part of the earth, in places desolate from antiquity, with those who go down to the Pit, so that you may never be inhabited; and I shall establish glory in the land of the living. 21 I will make you a terror, and you shall be no more; though you are sought for, you will never be found again,’ says the Lord God. Revelation 18: 9 The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning, 10 standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come. 11 And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore: 19 They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! In one hour she is made desolate. 20 Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!
  5. Let's look at what the Word of God says about the poor just in Isaiah! Isaiah 3:13 The Lord stands up to plead, and stands to judge the people. 14 The Lord will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses. 15 What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord God of hosts. 10: 1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; 2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless! 3 And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory? 11: 4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. 14: 30 And the firstborn of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety: and I will kill thy root with famine, and he shall slay thy remnant. 32 What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That the Lord hath founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it. 25:4 For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. 29:19 The meek also shall increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. 20 For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off: Isaiah 32:7 Also the schemes of the schemer are evil; He devises wicked plans. To destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaks justice. Isaiah 58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? 7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? The poor, the afflicted, the down-trodden, the oppressed, fatherless and widows will always have a place in the Father's heart.
  6. 1 Thessalonians 2: 19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming? 20 For you are our glory and joy.
  7. The beast of the bottomless pit is identified. Revelation 9:11 And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon. The angels of the rebellion were not imprisoned in the sea, but the lowest parts of the earth.
  8. [G2168] eucharisteo=giving thanks, thankful. >from [G2170] eucharistos, as in Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, in which also you were also called in one body; and be thankful. Luke 22: 17 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this and divide it among yourselves; 18 for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes. 19 And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me. John 6:11 And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. The Eucharist, the giving of thanks always in every instance, for our daily bread.
  9. Enter His Gates with Thanksgiving Psalm 100 1 A psalm of thanksgiving. Shout joyfully to Adonai, all the earth! 2 Serve Adonai with gladness. Come before His presence with joyful singing. 3 Know that Adonai, He is God. It is He who has made us, and we are His. We are His people, the sheep of His pasture. 4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise! Praise Him, bless His Name. 5 For Adonai is good. His lovingkindness endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations. Tree of Life Translation
  10. So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it.Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ—the Message—have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way. Colossians 3:12-17 The Message 12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. 14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. 11. I have proposed the formation of a maelstrom here as a result of an abyss being opened where the city of Tyre exists. There is another option that I thought someone might propose, but I will go ahead and add this now. If an abyss is opened into the depths of the earth and the sea poured into the opening, what could also result is a dense cloud of steamy vapor arising from the opening. Maelstroms form in the far north, but the second option is more likely at this geographic location. And what could cause such a hole to be opened? Could this not be leading us to the opening of the bottomless pit? Revelation 9: 1 Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit. 2 And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. John describes his vision as "smoke from a great furnace". Could what he is describing be the event prophesied in Ezekiel 26? The location would at least be appropriate. Just wondering from a physical science perspective.
  12. I posted 19 verses from scripture, and a couple of thought provoking questions to stimulate discussion, which you stated earlier that I should have provided answers. I get my answers from the practical experience of asking and seeking from the Holy Spirit, and in fellowship with my brethren beloved. I offer no advice other than to encourage others to do the same. You say your comments are to help me with practical advice. That should come from true fellowship among brothers and sisters you know and trust, not a forum, which is just an exchange of ideas. I would no sooner ask advice from you than a stranger at a bus stop. Your comments added nothing edifying, practical or otherwise, and after 5 decades of practical experience, I do not need your help. If you disagree, that is fine. You should feel free to offer practical advice concerning how to serve the Lord. It is an open forum. But to tell me how to conduct myself on my own thread is an impertinence. A discussion forum is not necessarily a place for me to offer my testimonies. We are yet strangers, and at this point, somewhat estranged by your supercilious approach, for which I have no regard. On the other hand, I would have you know that I have done my due diligence and do not take personal offense from you. I have read quite a few of your comments from your profile page, directed at a variety of members, and I have found you to be consistently inconsiderate, and I cannot say it has been a pleasure to make your acquaintance. Maybe that will change in the future. For now, have a happy Thanksgiving and a blessed holiday season.
  13. Hebrews 10: 32 But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings: 33 partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated. If you have been born again from above, and become enlightened/illuminated by the Day Star, then you have a testimony of the reproaches and great struggles of your companions in the faith. The knowledge of this mystery is available to all people of faith. Ephesians 3:9 [NASB] and to enlighten all people as to what the plan of the mystery is which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things. This Light comes to those who commit to an enduring fellowship of the saints, which purifies the soul in Truth, to be born again by the Spirit unto a fervent love. 1 Peter 1: 22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, 23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever. The incorruptible seed, the Day Star is the True Light of Christ 2 Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; where unto you do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arises in your hearts: Only the fully enlightened have eternal security over falling away. Hebrews 6: 4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame. The fellowship of the saints must endure the fellowship of Christ's sufferings. Philippians 3: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
  14. Ezekiel 26: 19 “For thus says the Lord God: ‘When I make you a desolate city, like cities that are not inhabited, when I bring the deep upon you, and great waters cover you, 20 then I will bring you down with those who descend into the Pit, to the people of old, and I will make you dwell in the lowest part of the earth, in places desolate from antiquity, with those who go down to the Pit, so that you may never be inhabited; and I shall establish glory in the land of the living. 21 I will make you a terror, and you shall be no more; though you are sought for, you will never be found again,’ says the Lord God.” The city of Tyre remains to this day. When the Lord drives her into the depths of the earth, and brings the deep waters down upon her, she will be a terror to those who venture near, by the Maelstrom that will be formed there.
  15. Jeremiah 49: 38 I will set My throne in Elam, And will destroy from there the king and the princes,’ says the Lord. Daniel ruled an empire from Shushan in Elam, the present day site of his monument/tomb https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/tomb-of-daniel 39 ‘But it shall come to pass in the latter days: I will bring back the captives of Elam,’ says the Lord.” Present day unrest in western Iran setting the stage for prophetic fulfillment.
  16. Paul's point that in every circumstance where we feel under judgment, we must consider this a correction from the Lord. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world. In agreement with Hebrews 12, which is an elaboration on the meaning of "the sure mercies of David". 11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. If someone who was struggling with knowing God's Will for their life, and sought advice from me, I would serve them in the Spirit of Wisdom. Are you in the habit of offering unsolicited advice? It would appear so. Is that a question, or an accusation. You sound confused, are you looking for someone to blame? The Lord taught that the first step to knowing His Father's Will is to have the desire to do so. John 7:17 If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own. You must be transformed Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
  17. I did not say he was. He was held by the Roman garrison to protect him from the authorities, and those who were conspiring to assassinate him.
  18. You responding to the title of a post without reading the content is not a lack of clarity on my part. Did you think that I was actually starving? Your responded: You are contradicting apostolic doctrine. James 2: 14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. Your advice to the starving inquirer is to take note of the signs of the times? More and more people are starving. You don't know anything about what someone else on a forum has endured, and your inquiry is impertinent.
  19. The Joy of salvation is not happiness. It is to have a future and a hope, and that the life we lead will not be in vain. Hebrews 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Our joy is "set before us", and is not of this world or this life. Philippians 3: 10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, 11 If, by any means, I may attain the resurrection from the dead. 12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. The joy of the Lord stands out in the world when we can rejoice in our tribulations. James 1: 2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. Acts 5: 40 And they agreed with him, and when they had called for the apostles and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. 41 So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. Matthew 5: 10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so they persecuted the prophets which were before you.
  20. Romans 5: 3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance proven character; and character, hope. [G1382] dokema-proof from experience Philippians 2:22 But you know his proven character, that as a son with his father served with me in the gospel. 2 Corinthians 13:3 since you seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, who is not weak toward you, but mighty in you. [G1384] dokemos-approved James 1:12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Corinthians 10:18 For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.
  21. [H6205] araphel=thick darkness Exodus 20:21 So the people stood afar off, but Moses drew near the thick darkness about God. Psalm 18:9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down with thick darkness under His feet. 2 Chronicles 6:1 Then Solomon said, The Lord has said He would dwell in the thick darkness. Psalm 97:2 Clouds and deep darkness surround Him; Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Job 22:13 And you say, What does God know? Can He judge through the deep darkness? When Christ was crucified the veil before the Holy of holies rent from top to bottom. Matthew 27:51 Mark 15:38 Luke 23:45 By which we have been granted access to the throne of Grace Roman 5: 1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 Through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 6: 19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, 20 where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 10: 19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Within the darkness of the veil is the pure Light of Truth 1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. John 9: 4 I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; night is coming when no one can work. 5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. Luke 2:32 A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel. The saints are the Light of God to a world in darkness Matthew 5: 14 You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. To abide in the Light is to abide in Love 1 John 2: 8 Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining. 9 He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. 10 He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. 11 But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. The Light brings us knowledge of the Glory of God, giving us victory over darkness Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me. 2 Corinthians 4:6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5: 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. 8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. Walk in the Light while you have the Light Romans 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
  22. John 12:26 If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor. Are you involved with what the Lord is doing where you are now? Are you prepared to go elsewhere in His service, for His Honor? John 5: 23 That all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. 41 I do not receive honor from men. 42 But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you. 43 I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, you will receive him.. 44 How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from only God? To Honor The Son is to Honor The Father in this age. To serve the Son is to receive honor from The Father in the age to come. John 7: 16 Jesus answered them and said, My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17 If anyone is willing to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority. 18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him. Have you ever been accused? John 8: 49 Jesus replied I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me. 50 And I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges.
  23. Jesus directed most of His criticism at the teachers of the Law, for they sat in Moses seat, but prior to His passion, He officially condemned the city of Jerusalem. Luke 13: 34 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing! 35 See! Your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say to you, you shall not see Me until the time comes when you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ ” Matthew 23: 34 Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, 35 that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36 Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.
  24. Number Three Believing that God Raised Christ from the dead, and that there will be a resurrection and judgment of all at the end of the age, Romans 1: 3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; 4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: Romans 1o: 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation 1 Corinthians 15: 12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
  25. Number Two Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. 1 John 2: 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. 3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
