Daily, angels work in the world every day. Sometimes to preserve a life, or to end a life for those who oppose god. These being are extraordinarily capable as to what the bible teaches, and do the lords bidding in all his extremities.
-
Your a tough one, but no i do not assume I use what the lord has made available to me. "Earth's rotation has been slowing down due to friction effects associated with the tides driven by the Moon. That process adds about 2.3 milliseconds to the length of each day every century." This is one factor to affect earths rotational speed along with celestial impacts and polar shifts. Also in the fact it was never stated earth was created with a rotational velocity, but does imply it may have been set on the forth 'day' when god divided the light. My stance is you cant know based off of the bible which i have said numerous times.
-
your still assuming. See day does not mean 24 hours. The definition of a day is the time it takes for a planet to make a full revolution. days on earth are 23 hours and 56 minutes long... lol but im not gonna get you on that technicality, a day isn't a measure of of time, its a measure of a planets rotation so if you wanna run with that go for it but i wouldn't. A planets rotational speed can change naturally.

@FreeGrace In my response i shed light on genesis. In fact genesis isn't really a good source to guess the age of the earth but it's a good source to age the days of man. Read my response just above yours. The age of the earth is truly a mystery and honestly it could be far older than we think, its just that we assume God made the entire physical realm for us at the same time he made us. Which is self centered way of thinking, that sort of thinking is on par with those who believed long ago earth was the center of the universe. One truth that no man can guess the earth is that no man knows the duration of the days it took God to make them. Any attempt would be a mare assumption, because a "day" isnt a set measure of time. just read my response above

What will actually end when the End Times come?
Kaio-Ken replied to FJK's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
@kwikphilly Yes it is true man had dominion of the Earth. It's not until works on the cross man had what was rightfully his returned to him. When the lord said it is done, through him all things were made new and the new covenant started. We were delivered out of bondage. Some children of disobedience died to the world and became children of the lord. Below are scripture. -

@kwikphilly I do listen to the preaching’s of Doug Batchelor and while I don’t consider myself a member of the SDA either or anything denomination really (I’ve learned form multitude of pastors) but I do favor the SDA. Dough Batchelor is like the old reliable that you know will work every time because he remains in the scripture. But the man who I am learning from now is far more out of the water than anything I heard, honestly, I almost wrote him off as a false preacher. But this man taught me to read the bible with deep understanding. The devil’s kingdom is a besieged kingdom of man, a lost territory to gods empire at the fall of adam. If we look to Matthew 4:8-9 “Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, all these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.” And truly it was satan’s to give. How were the nations, his to offer? While it’s common belief because Adam and Eve ate the from a tree God permitted them not to which is true, it’s not enough to fully grasp everything. The sin was not in the fruit but in the act of disobedience. In fact did you know satan didn’t even lie in what he had told eve? He told her if you eat ye shall surely be like god knowing both good and evil, and that they were. He tempted them to disobey god and that is the sin and temptation. This made adam and eve disobedient and offspring of the devil, the first to die. Furthermore, before i really get into it, satan isn’t the opposite of god he is the opposition of god. For god has no equal so there is no opposite of god. Where satan dwells is in the absence of god. Death, destruction, and decay is the natural occurrence of being outside the presence of god. 2 Corinthians 3:6 “Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” And John 5:39 “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” It is true all things begin from the scriptures, but listen to what jesus is saying here. How did John the baptize know to baptize people if it had not been done or written before!? Simple! LOL. But when you live in the spirit and do acts of faith in God is when you are having the mind of christ. It’s when you do the uncommon miracles like we saw christ do. Christ spit on the ground and mixed it with dirt to heal blindness, and the apostles healed people by telling them to get up. And they cast out demons by telling them to go. Do you understand how bizarre this is? So why is it that we today aren’t doing that? But the witch of endor is summoning spirits and dont have the holy spirit. Yes in us we have god and not power? The lord hadn’t called us to be powerless beggars, he came that we may have life more abundantly and he said he seated us in heavenly places, above powers and principalities. We sit in places satan cannot go. i did my best to keep it pg13 worthychat but all the answers are in there. i really dont wanna get chewed out hence why leave several days at a time because it erks me -

You are correct that Genesis does not explicitly describe the creation of the entire universe. The Bible focuses on conveying important spiritual lessons for man rather than providing a detailed account of the universe's creation. Upon revisiting Genesis, you may perceive that God's actions resemble shaping a planet from a rock, rather than simply creating a planet in its completeness, which is important to my explanation later on. As a young Christian, I mistakenly recalled "let there be light" as the first act of God, but the Bible's true first verse emphasizes that God made the heavens and the earth. Genesis primarily records the creation of the earth and its atmosphere, and the lineage of man. If you continue reading Genesis, you can then turn to Job 38:4-11, which sheds further light on the subject. In one of God's questions to Job, we find an answer: Jesus laid the cornerstone. Take note of the question who measured and take note of the reference of sons of the morning and sons of god. The biblical accounts of Genesis and Job 38:4-11 reveal a collaborative creation process involving God and His angels, suggesting a project-like construction of the Earth angels witnessed. An important clue is that God did not explicitly state that He made the waters on any of the creation days, implying their prior preparation. This is evident from the mention in... (Genesis 1:2). "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." So before we skipped over a bunch of over read information there, an earth with form and void would be an earth with no hills mountains or elevations. A flat playing field, and if you understand physics/fluids you will understand the earth would be submerged in water entirely, hence why gods spirit was upon the face of the water and not on the earth. Additionally, I ask, what do you suppose In Genesis 1:3-5, God spoke, and light came into existence. However, God's act of dividing the light from the darkness set the Earth in motion, establishing the cycle of day and night. By designating light as "Day" and darkness as "Night," God established the concept of day time and night time the alternating periods of light and darkness. It is worth considering that in Job 38:4-11, where angels sang and rejoiced at creation, both God and angels already existed before the accounts of genesis. Therefore, if God and angels preexisted earth, light must have already existed as well because god is light. This suggests that God's statement in Genesis 1:3, "Let there be light," may not be a literal act of creating light. Instead, it invites us to delve deeper into the meaning. Perhaps God is orchestrating something related to the atmosphere or the sun, resulting in light being casted on the Earth. I encourages us to approach scripture with a thoughtful and wise approach, recognizing that there may be more profound implications behind the words. Job 38:4-11 provides further insight: "Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, When the morning stars sang together, (angels) And all the sons of God shouted for joy?" (angels) This passage emphasizes God's active involvement in shaping the Earth and highlights the participation of celestial beings in this magnificent creation. But i would like to add, did you know we will also have a moment like this. We will witness a new earth and heaven too! The devil and his kingdom, ashes to our feet :). im getting tiered and i forget if i answered your question but ill watch the convo tomorrow

Kaio-Ken replied to FJK's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
hey there fjk, a man once told me God plans after revelation is gods original plan in genesis. The earth will be used and it is the dwelling place of man while heaven might be nice the fullness of a man is expressed when his spirit and body and the holy spirit are one. in short what im trying to say is this earth the physical realm has a use. for there will be a new jurusalem in the new earth & a new heaven too (side question, have you ever asked why there will be a new heaven...you should ask . and while there might not be fast food, who said the food will not be fasts lol in the garden of eden adam did not have to labor for his meals he simply reached his hand also technology isnt ungodly quite the opposite. the same man also told me allot of our understanding of spiritual things are off for truth jesus revealed to us. The devil goes around LIKE a lion seeking whom he may destroy when in fact he is "kitten" (if you have the holy spirit in you) we attribute to much to the devil. im trying to refrain from saying what i want to really say because well, i have gotten eaten up on this forum before lol but i said majority of it. -

It is true the prayers of the saints are lifted up to the throne of God as a sweat aroma, Revelation 8:4 (I quote revelations allot) "And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand." It is also true we should not add or subtract from the good works the lord have done on the cross through which we are saved. Here me out, the lord God whom is spirit wants to be worshiped in the spirit, this we know. So much of what has been said in this thread by you are true. Understand too certain good works such as John when he baptized, it was not written than people should do it. Johns faith, expressed in the physical realm lead him to do it. John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. The bible, Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth; A summary of the good works but not the ceiling of what is possible in God, it was never written with the intent to tell man all there is to know. Through faith we are to take leaps and mysteries will be revealed to us, which can then be verified by scripture. While you are not a prophet, the lord said we will do greater things, did he not? So take that leap of faith, and do good works. Put away the milk and serve the meat! How many of us has given to the poor? Healed the sick? Give sight to the blind? Given shelter to the homeless? Give comfort to the lonely? Be persecuted for the glory of the lord? Being a christian is more than saying a happy sentence here and there, how many of us live it? If this is you, then you are the reason why i came to worthy chat and you are the one I want to converse with, so i can grow in christ like you. I did not sign up to write christian slogans but to further do the lords work. -

My understanding of John 4 (which i just read again lol) is Jesus wants us to have faith. To worship in spirit is to have faith, would you agree that is the meaning? -

I like the way you worded it, prewired indeed. It is the lord who wired our brains so if it is so question why he wanted us to like certain things there is reason behind it. And yes Revelation 20:10 says there is sulfur in the lake of fire, is sulfur bad i dont think so, because the lord did not make error in his creations but surely not pleasant to smell. -

I do, and I want to do more, not because works are important to salvation, there are not. But when i burn it, it's an expression of my thoughts for God. I literally can't stop thinking of the lord because it's an intentional action. I would ask what does it mean to worship in spirit? -
I was told about creating atmospheres, such as the atmosphere of a class room consist of desk chairs chalk/white boards etc. I figure i'd burn the ol three kings to create an atmosphere in my home such as the one in heaven where frankincense is burn before the lord in a thick smoke. Any thoughts, is this common amongst you? Im not catholic but the blend is burned during mass, give the chapel that interesting smell.
