You make some very good points. What if revenge rears its head under another name? These issues and questions have come before us for centuries. Do we enter in resolution by God's Law, what's written on our hearts, or man's court proceedings? There are many factors to consider. Resolution is not always an easy task. Ultimately we are held accountable to our Lord and Savior.

Big rhetorical question... why did the current Democratic government allow millions of immigrants to come into the States without proper documentation and processing? This bypassing of the immigration laws, in fact, made migrants illegal. And by the same action the migrants and those non law abiding government office holders became criminals. The government officials should be tried for dereliction of duty. If a change is needed on immigration, then laws should be changed and enforced.

Hoping that some have been inspired to move forward with their health and activity level. I'm still recuperating from my hurricane cleanup injuries; but, I'm progressing. I'm not on crutches anymore. So, I felt bold enough to walk and shop in a very large box store yesterday. Items are packaged in large quantities and have some weight to them. Well, it was not a gym per se; but, there was plenty of walking and weight lifting. And, today I celebrate "hurting so good."

A view on the news about energy production

She would be good as Superintendent of Prisoner Rehabilitation. -
You're asking the wrong person here. There are so many variables and each case has its own circumstances. I suggest that much prayer and guidance is needed at a higher level than man.

So many times it's true that we are to hand enemies and trespasses up to the Lord. But, there are also times when we are instructed to take a stand and not just be philosophical. Look at David and Goliath. And aren't we supposed to crush the serpent beneath our heels. There is a matter of righteous anger vs vengeful anger, too. Jesus turned the tables over at the temple. Does that desire for revenge cause us to lose our witness and/or sin in our hearts and souls? Much prayer and guidance is needed when it comes to such things.

Hi Ani, FYI I will be taking a vacation from the cyberworld for a little while. Just know that I will continue to pray for your lovely walking endeavors. ITC

You have some cute pets, Neighbor.

I'm in the States and live in eastern time zone. So, we won't be walking side by side; but, we can share what we are doing. Since you're in the country, I will tell you about something I like to do on occasion. I love to see what native plants and flowers are blooming. When they start going to seed I have bagged seed to be able to plant my favorites at home.

I have a dog and a husband who need walking. Does that count?

The Democrats have been instrumental in giving false hopes and allowing criminal activity by letting people who might be good, Godly souls to be illegal. I think that those who turn a blind eye or are vocally bleeding hearts and do nothing are just as guilty. If one is not willing to put their money or efforts where their mouth is, it's like not voting and then complaining. If you are passionate about helping the poor and/or victims then do it in a real way.

This is a good example of each having their own vantage point. Well,... bless our pointed heads.

We're miles apart; but, I would like to join in these aspirations and efforts. What do you say? I need it, too.

After a horseback riding accident breaking my knee, my orthopedic surgeon set me up with a therapist and advised me to use it or lose it! It was tough love. It worked! You have chosen to walk. If that doesn't suit you, lift weights or ride a bicycle. Once you get started it's addictive. Woohoo!

More generally humorous ( To me) than political

Another funny is that Pelosi and Sanders are bickering over the reason why the Dems lost so badly. An opinion piece said that the top 5 Dems to lead the party out of the wilderness are: Schumer, Pelosi, Jeffries, Shapiro, and Newsom. Really? -

To Jedi4Yahweh: Politically Afflicted? Thanks, I needed a good laugh. -
Miss M: Yes, but in the days of George Washington and Ben Franklin were very different times than today. What do you think the people from George Washington or Benjamin Franklin's day would do with a man like Trump? Aye Matey, they'd give him a ship, a sword, a black eye patch, and chest of doubloons. Arrr!

I am an NPA on my voter's card. That's No Party Affiliation. And my email remained blissfully absent from both major parties list. Hallelujah!!! I volunteered for RFK Jr's campaign while he was still running; but, the others never found me. So, I guess you could say I'm off the grid. LOL This is me playing incognito. -
I'm rather cynical about "Wah" entitledness mentality. Let's give them a trophy for participation even though they didn't win. And all of those profs who provided leggos and origami while they declared a day of mourning and didn't teach how to survive when the going gets tough should pay back their salaries for producing wimpy collegians on how to fail at life skills. They are truly a pitiful excuse.

The problem is ego IMO. Look at how Obama was exalted. I remember before his first election that Colorado had a Democratic rally with a gigantic statue of Obama on a throne with Greek columns around it. The statue included a laurel wreath on Obama's head and he was in a white toga. He never got over himself so it seems. I lost more under Obama than any other president. I was robbed by the Too Big to Fail program which gave 1/3 of my retirement to GM right before GM bailed and went to China. Idolatry and class preference is definitely a danger. But, that's the folly of self absorbed men. Keep your eyes on Jesus!

A vote for Trump - or against Harris?
In the Clouds replied to Vine Abider's topic in General Discussion
I am praying for the defeat of the evil one and that's not in reference to a political party. I pray that the Democratic party heal and draw closer to our Lord God. I pray that antagonists lose the desire to use "pro-choice" as a death sentence and that man glories in being part of God's creation and not fight how they are created in order to be an abomination. Let all of man draw closer to our Lord and love Him more than self. I pray for peace on earth and good will towards men with the heart of loving our neighbor as ourself. -
I'm not a graceful winner; but, we are to set an example of loving our enemies. WWJD?

One victory that nobody has talked about is how her entourage was defeated. Obama, the Clintons, Pelosi, Soros,... They made it clear how much they disdained America. -

When there's only 2 to choose from, you have a 50/50 chance of getting it right. Libs can rationalize all they want to; but, the label "progressive" just wasn't true. So do you think they will search their soul on what was wrong vs what is right? Hmmm.... You don't have to answer that. It's rhetorical.
