  1. Matthew 6:14,15 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. This same preacher is saying this bible verse is another one that proves it is possible for christians to lose salvation He’s claiming in this verse Jesus is speaking to those that are God’s children because He says “your Heavenly Father” And he says this also shows that sowing and reaping is what God’s Kingdom is built upon and if we sow to the flesh we shall reap unrighteousness as in no longer being in right standing with God. For those that believe you cannot lose salvation, what say you?
  2. James 5:19,20 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. I have other discussions about this going elsewhere and this utube preacher sent me this verse and says if it were not possible to lose salvation then this verse would not be in the bible at all. He’s saying this verse is speaking directly to the brethren and is saying it shows that it’s possible for some brethren to err from the truth as in turning away from God And he says it’s obvious that this verse is saying that erring from the truth makes one a sinner again who is in need of being saved again from death and from their sins. For those that believe you cannot lose salvation, what say you?
  3. Seems like most everyone believes you are sealed once you get saved and you cannot lose salvation even if you were to live sinfully as they say. If it's true one can never ever lose their salvation then it doesn't matter if one lives sinfully or not because in the end they still get to go to heaven!
  4. Sounds like one we are saved, it's not possible to lose salvation! If you were to live sinfully you'd still be saved in the end.
  5. Not long ago I felt like I needed to start learning about this so it would be helpful to find people that know the bible good enough to say for sure one way or the other
  6. OK, so the consequences you keep talking about are not in the bible and that's just your personal opinion right? For a while there you kinda sounded like you knew what you were talking about.
  7. Many others are saying their bible verse prove we cannot lose salvation no matter what. I think the preacher I was talking about from youtubes would agree with you. And you believe that one can get born again and then turn and walk away and lose their salvation? or not?
  8. So there are no so called consequences if we live in sin? That other guy keeps saying there but never gives any examples of explanation about what this means exactly.

  11. Looks like many of the forum here say you are wrong.
  12. Such as? People say stuff like this and then never give any examples. I heard a preacher a while back say if one keeps living in sin, the Lord usually takes them home to Heaven! That doesn't sounds like a bad thing so that can't be what you are talking about
  13. If we absolutely cannot lose our salvation, then that's all that matters right? Once cannot say "we can never lose salvation" and then turn around and say what about this, what about that. Those other things can never cause us to lose salvation according to what you've already said on this topic.
  14. OK, so you believe a Christian can lose salvation and end up in hell???
  15. Ha ha you guys! If we were all born sinners and we can't help but sin every day and Jesus has forgiven all sins past present and future, then what's the problem? You can't say on one hand all sin has already been forgiven and then turn around and say your born a sinner, you can't help but sin, and then say you're supposed to not sin. You are contradicting yourself by saying one thing and then turning around and opposing what you just said!
  16. You said sin in in us all, so we must all be sinners right? That's what sinners do is they sin and christians have had all their sins forgiven past present and future right? If that's the case then what's the problem?
  17. I'm going by what people have been showing me from the bible which is what God says right? It seems to say all sins have already been forgiven past present and future! Of course now I have an exchange going with this preacher who claims he can prove christians can lose salvation and he wants to send me bible verses showing that Maybe I should get him to do that and post the verses here that says we can lose salvation. I've noticed that talking to other christians they all get upset if you don't agree with their point of view
  18. Stewardofthemystery posted this earlier that does say he was creqated perfect Ezekiel 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.”
  19. There's a preach I hear about on youtubes and he is saying you can actually lose salvation and he wants to provide bible verses he say will prove that. Should I get this from him and post it here so you guys can tell me if his bible verses are true or not? It might be interesting to have another perspective from a preacher that does not say the same thing that most other preachers say.
  20. On one hand you say sinning has nothing to do with your salvation Then you turn around and says it does. You can't have it both ways, so which is it? Stuff like this makes people confused because it sounds like people saying this stuff are confused themselves!
  21. I don't need a big fancy mansion so as long as I'm not losing THE reward of going to heaven, than I'm all good.
  22. Yes, I believe in my heart and confessed Jesus as my savior like the bible says.
  23. Then sounds like we all sin every day and just can't help it which is why our sins are already forgiven past present and future. If sin abides in us then we can't help but to sin and all the stuff you guys are saying would be none issues IF it's true sin abides in us and we are sinners and cannot help but to sin. Sounds like what might be going on is some claim they don't do the really "bad sins" so they think that makes them better and closer to God but none the less they themselves are still sinners who sin every day and just can't help it. This is all why I was glad to hear that all of our sins are already forgiven even before we do them!
  24. Oh read that, and it says I'll still be saved! You keep going back to that rewards thing but losing rewards doesn't include losing THE reward of having salvation. What's confusing is people say you cannot lose your salvation and then turn around and say you shouldn't sin but give no good reason from the bible why As long as we aren't losing THE reward of salvation then all the other reasoning to not sin is a none issue especially since everyone is saying we were all born sinners and cannot help but sin in word and deed everyday! I heard one guy say if all he got was a small shack on the backside of glory than that's way better than going to hell. That's kinda where I'm at because I'm not caring about having a big mansion like everyone else is. Assuming these are the rewards you are talking about. .
  25. I though all our sins have already been forgiven past present and future long before were were even born??? Are you saying this is not true?
