  1. Apparently the wicked are consigned to hell until the final judgment at the end of the millennium (Revelation 20:11-15).
  2. If this is referring to Luke 16:19-31, IMO there are two destinations after death: heaven or hell. Apparently he disregarded "Moses and the prophets" (Luke 16:30).
  3. IMHO: The "woman" who bore the child (Jesus), in the context of Revelation 12:13-17, is Christian Jewish people. They will flee persecution to the "place" of Petra (Revelation 12:6,14). When evil forces realize they cannot engage these Jews that fled, they will turn on others (gentiles) who also bear the testimony of Jesus. After this the beast ("anti Christ"), a leader who had received a fatal wound and yet survived, will step up the persecution, knowing from the Bible that his time in power is coming to an end. He is insane, since he knows he cannot prevail, but hatred clouds his mind.
  4. IMHO: Zechariah chapter 5 describes a (metaphorical) scroll flying over the Middle East in the yet-future end times, declaring a curse on the inhabitants, consisting of judgments. The future return of Jesus with his angels from Heaven to Jerusalem is noted in Revelation 19:11-21, not as the Lamb of God, rather as the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Revelation 5:5). The miraculous re-establishment of the ancient nation of Israel in a one-day war is prophesied in Isaiah 66:8. The Bible also indicates the revival of Babylon (aka Shinar) in the end times (Zechariah 5:5-11).
  5. IMHO: Zechariah chapter 5 describes a (metaphorical) scroll flying over the Middle East in the yet-future end times, declaring a curse on the inhabitants, consisting of judgments. Zechariah 9:9 ("riding on a donkey") was fulfilled in Matthew 21:1-11.
  6. "Eternal" in the New Testament is Greek αιωνιος= "indeterminate as to duration" (Perschbacher, "New Analytical Green Lexicon." Incarceration in hell IMO is a minimum of 1000 years since Jesus will rule that long (Revelation chapter 20). Afterwards we look forward to a new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells (Revelation 22:1).

  9. God wrote the story, hence yes IMO God dictates the actions of all the characters: "You will say to me then, 'Why does [God] yet find fault, for who resists his will?' But who are you, a man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, 'Why have you made me like this?'" (Romans 9:19-20)
  10. IMHO: Zechariah chapter 5 describes a (metaphorical) scroll flying over the Middle East in the yet-future end times, declaring a curse on the inhabitants, consisting of judgments.
  11. IMO God created this entire universe, and all things in it (including our very thoughts) are ordained by God. See Romans 9:19. Satan has numerous epithets, including: "Abbadon, Accuser, Adversary, Angel of Light, Apollyon, Devil, Lucifer, Old Scratch, Prince of Darkness, Guardian Cherub, Belial, Dragon, Serpent of Old, Fallen Star."
  12. IMO: Natural forces do not generate complexity, rather complexity stems only from intelligence. This implies an intelligent Creator.
  13. IMHO: The beast that ascends from the abyss (Rev 11:7) is a demon who supports a human ruler (the Antichrist) during the end times. "Anti" in this context takes the sense "in place of," i.e. a "false" messiah. See also 1John 2:18, 22, 4:3 and 2 John 7.
  14. Harlot = Babylon = rebuilt city of Babylon on the Euphrates River. Beast = Anti=Christ.
