Smasher - True you are right brother the postive should be preached and God is love. GoD is also Righteouse and He will Judge. It all comes back to balance I think...preach God's love and show it but also warn of the penalty if one rejects that love and grace He shows. Balance is what needs to get through thick skulls I think. God's Word preaches balance in all things. Faith1

Kenan - Yes I know you are right in saying that is how they (the world-unsaved) think of it and see it only because that is all they want to see but they do not see the solution to all the pain and the ONLY way to get to heaven and that is Jesus Christ. If anyone from some cult or another religion asked me how to get to heaven I would have absolutely no qualm in telling them how to and telling them that if they do not accept what the Bible say's then yes, they will have an eternity with-out Christ separated from Him in hell. It's very plain and simple and to the point but man is the one that makes it so complex and sadly sometimes Christians make it complex as well.

Kenan - I wont debate the Word of God with you because I do not believe you have the ability or the real desire to see the truth right now. However I did read your journal with the link you gave me and all I can say is, is that it is very very sad indeed and you really need go to the Lord and ask Him to help you not to be so driven by your feelings and emotions. You need to have some stability in God's Word and I am praying for you that He will show you this. You have a deep problem and the Lord does want to help you. And you are right in one respect...you do have an attitude. Faith1

Hi Rosered, Great to see your posts and your getting around the board. You seem to have such a loving gentle spirit. That is just wonderful. Our sister Dare is a Christian and loves the Lord dearly, she was actually refering to someone else in her post...but those scripture verses you give are certainly wonderful and I will try to remember them that's for sure. Great thread here and good advice. I think sometimes other people can get you in debt rather than yourself. Well actually I guess it is still yourself because you allow them to use your name or whatever. The Lord surely has been good to me and I've been in want and in prosperity and I am learning to be thankful and content in both. I would rather have nothing and live in a mud hut somewhere and be happy with my Lord than live in a half-a-mil-plus house, drive flashy expensive cars and have all the material nik' naks and gadets and not have Christ. And I've lived in both : Faith1

Amen to that Rosered! His book is the ONLY book that can give us life and there we can see Jesus and know Him and love Him as He loves us. What a blessing you are May He continue to fill you more and more moment by moment with the wonder of Himself. In Christ Faith1

Hi Rosered, And welcome to the family of God Your sure are right God's Word is wonderful and He sure does heal us in all areas I read a great book that you might be interested in it's called 'Knowing God' by J.I.Packer - if you can get a hold of it I would really recommend it.
