Well i have a feeling you will never find a church then because they are made up of men by that I mean people. The good thing is your giving and as your faith grows you will give more not just to Churchs but to people in need and ministries that are truely taking the gospel to ends of the earth. God bless,

I know it seems like in scripture that that they differant seperate people but Jesus tried explaining it that He and the father are one. He even stated that he was the Father. Joh 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Joh 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Joh 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Joh 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. The Father, Son and Spirit are all the same person God. Jesus is the physical manifestation of God. The Word Become Flesh.

It does not say "those" who restrain. It says that thing which restrains. That thing is time. If the Anti-Christ had his way he would already been on scene thousands of years ago but its not his appointed time. read verse six. 2Th 2:6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. Hi, Regarding the Falling away I believe the Falling away is instigated by the pressures that the Anti-Christ puts upon the Church. The Anti-Christ will turn the world agaisnt Christ and Christians. He will deceive many weaker and unfaithful christians and use them as weapons against those that are faithful to Christ. Remeber when Jesus was explaining the Last days he stated the many will fall away and betray one another and the Love of many will grow cold. He was speaking about Christians falling away and betraying one another. Read Matt. 24 Mat 24:8-13 All these are the beginning of sorrows. (9) Then they will deliver you up to be afflicted and will kill you. And you will be hated of all nations for My name's sake. (10) And then many will be offended ( also means fall-away) , and will betray one another, and will hate one another. (11) And many false prophets will rise and deceive many. (12) And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many will become cold. (13) But he who endures to the end, the same shall be kept safe. Jesus is talking about Christians being deliverd up and afflicedted and killed. He is also talking about Christians falling away betraying one another. Notice what Jesus says next but those who endure to the end shall be saved. I also think another big factor in Christians falling away is thier belief in a pre-tribulation escape. Jesus never taught us about a rapture prior to the tribulation. Acutally Jesus promised us that we would see tribulation. If you read Mat.24, Mark13 and Luke 21. speaking of the end times he stated many times "when you see these things" as if christians will be here to see these things. Jesus constantly warned us not to be decevied. I believe that many christians will betray their faith and Church because they will feel that they have been lied to about tribulation and hardship. The will betray the Church and believers and attack them in anger and spite. The bible say in the book of Daniel the Anti-christ will deceive Christians that have been unfaithful to the covenant and use them agaisnt those who are faithful to God. Remember what Jesus said, Christians will be offended and betray one another. I believe the falling away will happen around time the anti-Christ appears. Maybe just before and during. Look around you, the spirit of the Anti-Christ is already here. The world is agaisnt Christ and Christians. All they need is a leader to carry their banner of hate. Many so called christians are really anti-christ and what he teaches. They only believe and apply the easy parts of the bible and reject the other parts that require something on their part. well I will end here. Jason

You make a lot of valid points. God is singular. There is only one God...Bottom line. Jesus, Holy Spirit, and The Father are the Same person not three differant people. Western Christianity makes God sound more like a Corporation rather then a Person. God is not three people housed in one body. Jesus is the physical manifestation of God. Remeber God is a Spirit. I like how pre-trib people bend scripture to say things like this. "Oh those are not Christians they are TRiBULATION SAINTS. There is no such thing....You are part of the Church or your not. Christ does not have two Chruchs or two Bodys. He has one Church which is his body. Those that are living for God during the tribulation are faithful followers of Christ. There is no other way into the Kingdom of Heaven except through faith in Christ. The Church is the birde of Christ. Christ does not have two brides. There is only one Church made up of Jews, Gentiles, and Tribulation saints who believe in Jesus.

The word "spirit" can also be interpreted as Angel or Messenger or Minister. So I understand it as the the Seven Angels of God over the 7 Churches in Rev. Or he could be referring to the Actual leaders or Ministers of the 7 Churches.

Yeah this the called the Second Resurrection and also the White Throne Judgement. You can read about it in Rev. 20 Rev 20:11-15 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. (12) And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. (13) And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. (14) And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. (15) And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. This takes place after the 1000 year reign of Christ. Joh 5:28-29 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, (29) And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

The whole God is three persons makes God sound more like a corporation rather then a person. You guys should refer to God as (God inc._) God is not a corporation. There is only one person of God manifested in three forms but yet they are of the same person. I will reuse this analogy and I use it because it is the best way to explain the triuness of God because we are created in his image and likeness. So to understand the trinuess of God all we have to do is look at man whom he created in his image. Spirit, Soul, and Body. Even thou I have three equal and seperate parts and they all make up one whole me. 1Th 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Spirit = the part that operates on a Spiritual level. Soul = the part that operates on a Mental level Body = the part that operates on physical level God also has a Spirit, Soul and Body. Isa 42:1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. God made us just like himself. To believe that God is three persons you would be saying that that God has three spirits, three souls, and three bodies. This gets kind of crazy. What do you call a man with multiple personalities. Crazy right! Spirit = Holy Spirit Soul = Father Body = Son ___________________ = God This is the triuness of God and we are created like him. There is no three persons of God only one. Amen

Hi, Jesus said in many places through out the gospels that he and the Father are one. He even stated in one place that he was the Father. Joh 14:8-11 And Philip said to Him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us. (9) Jesus said to him, Am I so long a time with you, and you have not known Me, Philip? The one seeing Me has seen the Father! And how do you say, Show us the Father? (10) Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The Words which I speak to you I do not speak from Myself, but the Father who abides in Me, He does the works. (11) Believe Me that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me; but if not, believe Me because of the works themselves. Look at this way there is only one God not three. Amen I agree. We are preaching a salvation with out repentance. Our gospel is soooo watered down compared to what Jesus preached. Never once in the bible did Jesus or his disciples ask people to say a sinners prayer. I can see it now Jesus asking people to bow their heads and close thier eyes. "Now with noone looking around, if you want me to come live in you heart, I want you to slip up your hand really quick and put it back down as brother peter plays "come as you are". Now if you really want me to come in your heart I want you to come down here were we will fill out a membership card and presto you will be eteranlly secure." That is a bunch of Bull. All this does is produce phony christians. Jesus said if you want eteranl life you must repent and believe and take up your cross and follow me daily. Amen

This is not always the case. 1Co 14:2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. Paul said when a man speaks in an unknown tongue or language he is not speaking to man but to God and nobody understands him. Therefore he is praying in a unknown tongue to God. 1Co 14:15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also. Jud 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Rom 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings. There are two types of unknown tongues spoken of in the bible: One is a supernatural prayer language and the other is message of tongues in which requires an interpreter either someone who knows the spoken language or one who has the gift of interpretation. If you do a study on being baptised or filled with the spirit you will see that there was always a supernatual utterance accompanied either in an unknown language or a prophetic word. Do a bible search and you will see. Love is not a Gift of the Spirit but it is the natural Fruit of the Spirit. Paul is not saying that we should only seek love and forget the Gifts of the Spirit. What he is trying to say is that we are to use love with the Gifts of the Spirit. With out love those Gifts are pointless. Paul says serveral times that we are to desire Spiritual Gifts and that we are not to forbid them. 1Co 14:39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. The question is are we obeying this scripture?

Hi, If you really read into it in 1 Cor 13 about what Paul means by Perfection you will see that few verses later that Paul is speaking about the day when we enter in a gloifed state of perfection. Not in this life but the life to come but when we are face to face with God. You got to read it in context. read verse 12. 1Co 13:10-12 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. (11) When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. (12) For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. Think about it, in the next life we will not need healing because all sicknesses will be gone. We will not need Prophecy because we will be face to face with God. We not need any of the gifts because we will all be in a perfected glorified state face to face with God: Spirit, Soul and Body. Clearly the perfect state is when we are face to face with God and have perfect knowlege according to vs. 12. At this point there will be no need for spiritual gifts to edify the church because at that point we will be completely edifed in our perfect glorifed state. So perfection is speaking of a future event when we are face to face with God and perfected in our glorifed bodies. Not sure if this is speaking of the ressurection or upon our physical death but certainly we are not face to face with God and the church is definintly not in a perfected state. So therefore it is evident that the church still today requires edification which is the purpose of the Spiritual gifts. To say that we do not need spiritual gifts is to say that the chruch no longer needs edification. It is the foot saying to the eye and the mouth we no long need you. And we can not say that only certain gifts exist today because Paul in Chapter 12 says that we can not say that we only need certain gifts but the others we dont. So to say that certain gifts ceased you would have to say that all Spiritual gifts ceased altogether and we are now perfect. But this is absolutly not the case and there is no proof or hint that teh gifts of the Spirit have or will cease in this life time. Actually if you read in Revelation you will see their will be prophets that call fire down from heaven. So you have to assume that the Gift of Prophecy is still here. You would have to go way out of your way and bend scriptures to say that Spiritual gifts have ceased. Jason
