Obviously, the serpent before God cursed him was not like any other serpent we know today. This serpent was considered a beast of the field which means it had legs and was considered some type of cattle or mammal that grazed the fields. I use to believe the serpent was some type of dinosaur, not really sure if I lean that way today. After the curse the bible says the serpent was cursed to crawl on its belly and eat dust with its food. If you look a all reptiles today they all crawl on their belly and eat dirt mixed with their food. Snakes, turtles, allegators, lizards, etc... I read a lot noncanonical books like Enoch, Jubilees, Jasher, and the apocrypha and many of those books state there was a time before the flood that animals spoke and communicated with man. Also, talks in the books of Jasher about how the fallen angels not only interbreed with humans to create giants but also corrupted and interbreed with animals to form gigantic creatures which we might would call dinosaurs today. God said before the flood that all flesh had become corrupted to include animals. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. ... The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. You are blinded by your hate for Israel. Israel has always wanted peace and has bent over backwards at their expense to help facilitate peace with its neighbors. Hamas does not want peace nor is willing to even discuss peace with Israel. They want the complete annihilation of the Jewish state and its people. In fact the Israeli concert Hamas invaded and killed so many people at was an event supporting peace between Israel and Palestinians. You talk about how Israel is intentionally targeting women and children which is absolutely absurd...but you got Hamas who literally is targeting women and children and murdering them in cold blood yet you turn a blind eye and point the finger at Israel. The spirit of hate you represent towards Israel is not of God.

There is collateral civilian damage in every war and Ukraine is not an exception. Israel has always taken great strides to prevent collateral damage. On the other hand Hamas and other Islamic militant groups do not have a care in the world if you are a innocent civilian (man, women, teenage, or child) or military target, they will kill you regardless and with much gladness for Allah. If you don't see the difference your the one that is blind. In fact, Hamas does even care about killing their own people using them as human shields, using schools, hospitals, and masques for missile launch sites and military hideouts. I was reading reports where Israel was forewarning civilians in Gaza to leave the area before the bombing, but Hamas would not let them leave and even killed the ones who tried to leave.

Usually the analogy of broken cisterns or dry wells it usually in refers to false gods/idols, false prophets, false teachers. I agree 100%...but do you have the same sentiment that US is giving weapons to Ukraine? Ever since Israel went to war with Hamas after the deadly attack. We have heard global leaders demanding Israel to cease fire or else and that Israel must come to a peace agreement with Hamas. Where is this same demand for Ukraine and Russia to come to a peace agreement? Nope, all we hear is that we need to continue too fund the war Ukraine.

I would advise not using a ruler. The ruler could be slightly tilted or angled to make it thinner where the sun hits it. I would recommend using two quarters or two tennis balls or something similar where we can actually compare them side by side.

Yes I saw your illustration you posted. I just don't think those illustrations match reality of how light expands as it goes outward. This is what makes shadows larger than the object. In the illustration you posted, it shows light doing the opposite and narrowing down and creating a smaller umbra shadow than the actual size of the object. Look at the photo I posted and you can see the umbra and penumbra. The umbra is larger than the object and the penumbra is just the thin edge of the actual shadow where the shadow is diffusing with the surrounding light. Now compare that to the illustration you posted.

The point is not to replicate the Sun and Moon but to prove you can not get a smaller shadow than the object being projected upon...in any situation.

Repentance involves both mind and actions. For example, If a person were planning on murdering someone but while on their way to commit this murder, they realized how evil this action would be and so they had a change of heart and repented which resulted in them never proceeding with murdering the other person. On the other hand, If this person realized in their mind how evil and may even felt shameful for what they were going to do but still ended up going murdering the other person. Even though they were convicted and felt shame in their plan, they never really repented. Repentance involves thoughts and actions. I would say repentance starts in the heart but the proof is in your actions. "Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, ... "And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. [Mat 3:8, 10]

Wait! So you don't have any proof of your so called easy penny experiment projecting a smaller shadow, nor are you willing to provide any proof??? I thought this was a simple easy experiment??? You know I see a lot of drawings and illustrations of such experiments but not once have I ever seen a real experiment that can be recreated where a projected shadow is less in size than the actual object. You prove my point.

I would like to see the results of your penny experiment. Do you have any photos? Yes, the sun is said to be very large but at that distant (approx. 93 million miles away) its relatively small. From earth when you look at the Sun its approximately the size of a quarter and would not be much different from the moon. If the whole sky was filled with a massive sun and all you saw from horizon to horizon was flaming orange sun sky then maybe that argument would apply. If the sun causes the moon to produce a shadow that is smaller than its actual size, then it would also have to work the same for other objects as well, but it doesn't. Maybe your penny experiment can prove otherwise.

So light does not funnel down as you show in your pictures. Light spreads the further it goes out. This is why shadows appear larger. So you do agree shadows are larger than the object. So then why in your first picture why is the inner darker moon shadow so much much smaller and not larger?
