Be interesting to see what happens after a election and the states has a new president. I'm predicting the military gets pulled out and the new presidents ratings shoots through the roof. In regards to that vision. I don't know who the guy is or read his book. In regard to the vision; are you talking about the 4 angels and the river euphrates? Its Revelation 9:14 what guy are you talking about?

One way I can think that it really does matter (hypothectically). The antichrist will have a false prophet buddy, correct? I imagine a false prophet will know his bible enough to twist things. If we are left here through the tribulation, then he could say "Since you are not with Christ in heaven, this can't be the 'mark of the beast' that some of you are talking about." Since the only other option will not be to buy and sell, people could very easily be talked into this. Now if I am wrong, well, I owe you an apology. We'll see. We must be prepared spiritually for these hard times and persecution. I have also found that study of bible prophecy doesn't lead to a distration from Jesus, it puts the spotlight on Him.

I am so sorry for you loss, I can't imagine what that's like. I'm happy that you know he is in heaven, that's a wonderful hope. Anything we will have in heaven will be better than what we have on earth. No, I don't think you will be his wife in heaven, but your relationship will be even closer that it was on earth. Oh, more on the physical side of fasting- if you get caffine headaches, and you have a scheduled fast coming up, go ahead and quit the caffine 3 days before day 1 of the fast.

fasting is all over the new testement, in acts, the saints fasted. God can lead you into a time of fasting, but it's totally ok to go ahead and initiate a fast. People fast for healing, general spiritual growth. John Wesley found fasting so benificial that he tried to mandate it for pastors, but he couldn't find enought scriptual backing. KEY: You must not only abstain from whatever it is, but SET YOUR SELF APART FOR GOD DURING THIS TIME. Pray. Read your bible, and focus on Jesus. Do those things for God that you have been putting off. Phsical advice on fasting: 1.Don't break a fast at McDonalds. You'll puke. Go easy on your poor little stomach, and start with some diluted juice and a well-chewed salad. 2.Don't bother taking pain killers while on a fast. You'll throw those up too. At least I do. 3.My breath also stinks more when I fast. So I brush more often. 4. Lack of energy. Go for prayer walks. I know a person won't feel like it, but it dies help. And don't be afraid to take naps. Other people: It's a very special thing to keep fasting time between you and God. But depending on your situation, you may think it best to tell your doctor, parent, spouse, etc. But definetly don't tell people that don't need to know. And tell the people that you do tell not to tell anyother people.

well, your body turns to dust either way- decomposition or burning, so what's the difference? If there is an attitude of disrespect with a body, then the sin is on the person who would show the disrespect, not the dead person... my opinion. But praise God, he will make the perishable imperishable!

I work with a girl who is mormom. I mean, she's not really morman, but she goes to LDS church every sunday and tries to not to drink caffine. Recently she's commented about how happy a girl she knows looks after she comes out of church. I told her about the joy of worshiping the Lord, and knowing his presence, and wrote some scriptures down for her. She was confused about what her chruch wanted her to do. The point: Don't worry about what to say or do. A church that does not worship Jesus as Lord will soon realize what is missing! Just be there to explain and stand firm with love. And know your scriptures! As a defense of the truth.

why find out the hard way? The christian life is life abundant before we get to heaven, as well as after. why get a pinto when you can get a caddy? Never ask yourself what the bare minimum is.

whoa- I'm post trib; but if the lord calls ahead of my schedule, who's going to argue? Who wants to go through the tribuation? A a serious question: Is believing in the pre trib rapture a salvation issue? I'm not saying it's not important, but if Jesus says "come up here", and his sheep know his voice, will a previos rejection of a pre-trib rapture prevent a born-again beliver from being taken?

If events are repeated, and the story is told twice, then it is not one chronological account. For it to be chronological, the events must be told in order once. If I told a story, and retold it again in more detail, I could not pass it off as in-order.

I agree with you, it could turn into something terrible. Remember the 4 angels that are bound at the river Euphrates? About 95% of the Euphrates is located in Iraq! And hmm...the 2 million man army? China could muster it, so could the arab nations if they united to fight. (which they have a motive now.) Who knows how this will play out, and what nations will get involed? tell all the people about Jesus you can!

I live in America, where I have grown up around many Christians, but sadly I see us make too many compromises with sin. I work with a girl who I am certain is born again, but she is living with her fiance. She is a joy to be around, but God told me not to associate with a brother (in this case sister) who is sexually immoral. 1Corinthians 5:11. I feel like a hypocrite because I have committed similar sins in the past (never to done again), but I am doing this to her. But my past does not mean I am excused in not obeying God by letting her think that this is OK. She has not asked about my distant behavior yet, but when she does, I think stuff will hit the fan. I will pray and obey so she will repent and not shipwreck her faith. God is holy.

Trying to understand Revelations chronologically is the quickest way to be drivin INSANE! Look at all the events that are repeated! I believe these are the SAME EVENT, only retold in a differnt way: I cannot offer a good conclusion to the cronology of revelation, but definatly say it's not written chronologically! 1.
