Here are a few of mine.
The first three are of Bristol Cathedral, which was built between 1150 and 1888. I remember about 15 years ago being prompted to go there early one Sunday afternoon. It was empty of people, and as I walked through the door, I immediatly felt surrounded by God's prescence.
The next picture is of the very first Methodist Church in the world. John Wesley preached regularly from that pulpit.
The next picture is of Wells Cathedral.
This is followed by Pensford Church. which has a river diverted around it on either side, so is in effect on an island. The bridge is the point where the strands of the river meet up.
The final pictures are of St Hugh's Charterhouse, which is halfway between Cheddar Gorge (where the cheese originally came from), and Burrington Combe, where the hymn Rock of Ages was inspired. There are no houses around this, and it was built around 1900 for a mining community on the Mendip Hills, Somerset, England.
