  1. This may be off the subject a little, but in Church we were talking about Irsrael's promised land, and the pastor was saying that the land stretches way in to Palestinian territory, to some river, dont remember the name, I will have to ask him. Is there any Biblical truth to this?? If so, why did Sharon give in to the west bank in the first place. I have heard many Israeli's being very critical of Sharon for making this move, and not just the millions that had to give up their land to the enemy. I need to read more about all this, unless someone knows what my pastor was saying... G-d bless
  2. Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago, we had a small fire on the gas line.... When things like that happen you are so thankful for heat, electricity, warm water, I am glad to see you are taking it very well. We heated our house with a heater from lowes, it was 50 dollars, and worked very well. If you were near I would give it to you, I will pray that things get fixed soon. G-d bless. Aaron
  3. I agree, I'm sure your parents are more commited than a lot of people that have that certificate.
  4. I think it would do a lot of good if more followers of Yeshua took part in some Jewish holidays, not to be better believers but to relate better with the Jewish heritage. We are all Jews in essence, taking Christ into your life is becoming a part of the descendants of Abraham. I follow the Torah, but not in a legalistic way, I dont do it to gain salvation, I do it because it is a good way to live. Following Yeshua is always the number one priority in my life, and always will. When I acknoledge the holidays, I always put Yeshua right on top of everything, just like every other day. I believe that this process of acceptance will unite the houses of Judah, and Ephraim, which Isaiah talks about.

  8. "The following probabilities are taken from Peter Stoner in Science Speaks (Moody Press, 1963) to show that coincidence is ruled out by the science of probability. Stoner says that by using the modern science of probability in reference to eight prophecies, ‘we find that the chance that any man might have lived down to the present time and fulfilled all eight prophecies is 1 in 10 to the 17th power." That would be 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000. In order to help us comprehend this staggering probability, Stoner illustrates it by supposing that "we take 10to the 17th power silver dollars and lay them on the face of Texas. They will cover all of the state two feet deep. Now mark one of these silver dollars and stir the whole mass thoroughly, all over the state. Blindfold a man and tell him that he can travel as far as he wishes, but he must pick up one silver dollar and say that this is the right one. What chance would he have of getting the right one? Just the same chance that the prophets would have had of writing these eight prophecies and having them all come true in any one man." Stoner considers 48 prophecies and says, "we find the chance that any one man fulfilled all 48 prophecies to be 1 in 10 to the 157th power, or 1 in 10,00,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000, 000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 000,000,000." (This information was taken from the book Evidence that Demands a Verdict, by Josh McDowell.) The estimated number of electrons in the universe is around 1079. It should be quite evident that Jesus did not fulfill the prophecies by accident. He was who He said He was: the only way (John 14:6). http://www.carm.org/questions/onlytrue.htm
  9. All I know is that Matthew wrote this in order to fulfill the prophesies of Jeremiah 31:15, I am not sure why Josephus, or any other writings of that time didn't mention this. William F. Albright had this idea "If the event is historical, given the small size of "Bethlehem and its vicinity," it did not involve a large number of boys age two and under. Albright estimates the area had about 300 people at the time. Brown estimates that the population was no more than a thousand. Given the birth rate and high infant mortality rate of the time, either of these figures would mean at most only a few dozen children killed.[2] This would not have been a particularly large atrocity for the period in general and Herod in particular and thus might have escaped mention by Josephus and others." Other than that, I have no idea. G-d bless Aaron

    Evolution

I have no doubt in my mind that the Genesis is the correct account of creation, G-d said that his word is true, and without error, and I trust him uncoditionally. Humans leave so much room for error, I can guess with the best of them, but that doesn't make me right. Look at scientology, it baffles me that anyone could follow this, and completely ignore the account of out L-rd Yeshua. There are so many biblical, and non-bilical accounts of the life of Yeshua, if you believe in him, you have to believe in the entire Word, which includes Genesis.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20051222/sc_nm/...ce_evolution_dc How do they even do these "tests?" How can they prove something is 400,000 years old?
  12. I dont understand were all this is coming from, why does the arab world care about this?? Why do they want to believe it's a myth??
  13. IOANES PAVLVS SECVNDO http://www.remnantofgod.org/666.htm I dont personally believe this, but who knows
  14. I have nothing againsy RCC believers, I dont like the actual church, but I'm not going to bash on them. But I was reading some site that on the popes hat there is latin writing, and when you compare those letters to roman numerals it adds up to 666. This is mainly a protestant view, but I wonder if the hat really has those words. I'll have to go back and check the latin words, but I added it up, and it was 666, I was kind of creeped out for about 20 seconds...hah
  15. If there is the slightest mistake in any prophecy it is not from G-d. Look at Isaiah, Daniel, any of the prophets in the Bible, they had startling revelations from G-d, and everything has come true, or will come true. There is no room for error when it comes to prophecy, I feel you have it or you don't. It's not something that would just come and go like a cold. I need to read the OP again, I don't really remember what was inconsistant...

  18. I don't really know what to tell you, I know social security payments are really slim if you haven't made a ton of money early in life. I don't see how anyone could live independantly on that alone. I was in a similar situation, not that bad, but close, and I started selling things on ebay. I still do that actually, and I get enough from that for me, and my family. I sell my paintings, is there anything that you like to do, that you could somehow get a profit from?? I wish I could help you more, I will deffinately pray for you. G-d bless Aaron
  19. You can look at retirement as being greedy, there was no retirement back then, that's more of an American thing.
  20. That was a good idea, the only ones that can convey the true meaning behind Christmas are the parents, I applaud you.
