  1. Blessings I apologize, I misread the story on the earlier story that Firefox had chosen him as their CEO My bad, I will definitely join in and not use Firefox. Too bad, I was even thinking of donating to Firefox before. Thanks for the correcting me!!! Have a Blessed day!
  2. Wait, all of you realize that he supported a ban on gay marriage, but because of this are saying you want to switch from Firefox to another web browser? Also, to my understanding, the small boycott against Firefox is not from a conservative group. In the past actually, Google Chrome's Vice-President supported gay rights. I use Firefox, better interface and I like that the now CEO also shares that homosexual marriage is not a Biblical marriage. I misread the original post, such a sad thing. Thanks for the correction! Have a Blessed day!
  3. Because acts of Love are the only ones worth telling. And that's why we have Jesus. The Bible's message is one of Love. Even when feelings say " I don't quite get it". If you believe in The Word of God, You will be Saved.
  4. Blessings. Hello! God willing I'll have about 2 months and a half of summer vacation( going exchange to Canada from the USA God willing) and want to, God willing, go at least 1 year to volunteer at any country, preferably Germany or Australia, and stay at a local church or anything like that. Do you know of any programs, or if you are from one of these foreign countries, or anywhere else in the world, and your local church would let God open its doors for me to volunteer in the community, stay at church, help church God willing, pray to God you do tell me. I am a current second year student in the USA from Honduras/Mexico, and am fluent at both English and Spanish, as well as speak and inter level of German. Thanks for any information, open door offers, prayers, and anything you offer in that sense:) Just want to know God willing where God will take me to be His hands, feet, and heart:) May The Lord Bless You
  5. I am more than willingful, and thankful that you are doing this. You have full rights to do whatever with the document. It is the truth. The truth shall set you free And we need all the support and prayers we can get So go right ahead, and God Bless You Nebula No Amor, because the referendum was unconstitutional. Amor, clearly, with all due respect, please read up first, before trying to call out right from wrong Besides, why would we "express" ourselve in something that is illegal, and besides, is just controlled and monitored by the former president's staff? People were being paid to vote for a yes... And ALL polling stations were controlled by people favoring the ousted President. Yes, he was elected president of Honduras... But so was congress, and the people who were ultimately appointed judges of the Supreme Court. In order to make law prevail... Even, from president abuse... By the way, to all the lies being said this was an innocent poll. The day before the illegal poll, last Saturday, the Executive branch's newspaper, which reports all new things that are supposed to be official, controlled by the president in charge, declared it to be a referondum, and not just an innocent poll. Both illegal; The poll, if its made by the president if I am not mistaken, and, the referendum, especially when it comes to modifying the constitution, and reelection terms... God Bless
  6. Thanks Fres and all, continue with the prayers please. God Bless You All
  7. Blessings, First of, before I start, I would like to point out I am from Honduras. That's everything I need to point out right now. This last few couple of days, have been of enormous confusion to the international community; People screaming and yelling out "Bloody murder!" and calling out for the reinstitution of the former president Mel Zelaya, calling his removal illegal, and an attack at Honduras's democracy: This is why I write this article, to explain the situation with God's help. With God's help, I'll set things out with detail, so y'all readers, can know whats actually happening, and has been happening, for the last couple of weeks, and even months. It all started a couple of months: Back then, president Zelaya, started promoting a sort of "poll" called "La Cuarta Urna". This started raising concern in Honduras, as such poll, was viewed by people as a mere attempt of the back then president Zelaya to retain power, or else, illegally take posession of things that belong to people who have legally bought and worked hard for this things. Like land, private businesses, take away children, as communist governments do. One of the reasons for this was that the former president never stated what the poll would be about exactly; yet still, continued to carry on, telling the people to vote for a yes on the poll that was due to take place on the 28 of June, 2009. Opposition in huge quantities arose all sectors and social classes, both Lower, Middle, and Upper; and respectively, workers, small businesses owners, and such investors. As things continued to progress, it became clearer every minute, day and night, that the now former president Zelaya's true intentions were to modify the constitution, which among things, protects from tyranny, reelections, unending terms, continuity, freedom of speech, freedom of congregation, freedom of press. All this came up to the Supreme Court Justice. While we are here, I would like to point out, that just like in the United States, Honduras's government has 3 branches: Legislative, Executive, and Judicial. Which work in almost the exact same way as in the U.S.A., of course, with their respective differences, etc. Now, the Supreme Court of Justice, ruled the poll to be illegal, as it violated the Constitution, in many articles. The TSE, which is the Electoral commitee, also agreed, and declared such poll illegal. As the TSE is the only valid authority when it comes to polls or such, regarding electoral articles. What Alliances does ousted President Zelaya have? Hugo Chavez, Castro Brothers, Ecuatorian president, Evo Morales from Bolivia, etc. All known for Dictatorship ties, mockery of those that oppose their views, and just plain corruption. This led to Honduras entering the ALBA treaty, which, is compromised of the crooks and tyrants of America. Pati Rodas, the "Secretary of State", or now, former secretary of states, by the Constitutional law. She is an extremist, left wing. Sources told me today that she was married, or is married to an Ex Sandinista( former Nicarguan Dictatorship) She is a very, very evil person. Perhaps the one that actually took decisions in Honduras, not ousted, former president Zelaya. The most interesting thing of the situation; Tactics. Among thing, commonly known tactics of his fellow buddies and dictators of the ALBA. 2 news channels. One of the government, set up by Zelaya, and another, who barely, if at all, had a person who's view differed from the ousted president, and promoted support to the ousted president. He would appear speaking out against the middle and upper class, against anyone that opposed his view. He called anyone that was not in favor of the illegal poll, someone that doesn't love his country. This being something curious as, around 80% of the population resisted, were afraid, and opposed this illegal poll... Now, carrying on with his tactics. He would show at small villages, rallying people up, and giving people money, etc. In exchange for them voting Yes on the poll. He did some good things, like building some small hospitals in rural communities. He did this using Tax Payer money, which isn't bad, at all, this communities need the help. The problem still remaining, him doing this in exchange for them voting yes, in other words, buying off their vote, not with promesses, but actually, giving them money, between $15 to $25 dollars per vote. As well as calling anyone that has money "Evil" The people, unaware, that the money came from the tax payer. This communities small and rural communities received some much needed help, at the price of voting yes, on something that would probably ruin the country, and put a stop, on their children's future, blocking and diminishing any chances of self-improvement. Always receiving orders from his buddies and comrads, Hugo Chavez. Hugo Chavez was actually leading the president of Honduras... In the Urban areas of Honduras, government employees were often forced to participate, support, and vote Yes on the illegal poll... His resignation was the price for opposing the former president, that is, for Dr. Zuniga, the head doctor & manager at the public Hospital in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. My hometown. By many, he has been considered as the best manager and doctor the hospital has had. Considered a gentlemen and a hard worker by the masses. People here were also payed, just as in rural communities, to vote Yes on this illegal poll. None-the-less... The president had around a 20% approval of this illegal poll, mainly and mostly, by those in the rural communities, misinformed of his true, hidden intentions. I will continue writing this article in a couple of hours, God allowing. For now, please keep my family, our businesses, Honduras, and I in prayers. Also for now, I will comment that Honduras is not in a Coup. Honduras is following the constitution. God Bless
  8. are you advocating getting the army to organize a coup against the democratically elected President? Because that's what happened in Honduras. You are very incorrect. What happened in Honduras isn't a Coup. But the defense of the Constitution of Honduras. Getting facts straight. Please read my article explaining the situation in detail soon. God Bless
  9. Post will be up later on, as I am way past my bedtime right now, as I've been up since 7AM watching the news, and its 3:19AM now... God Bless, and tremendously appreciate Your Concerns for Honduras... Continue to pray! As Love In Christ God Bless alll
  10. Social issues do exist, but that means we need to enforce the laws. Not add new, corrupted, special interests ones. God Bless all Love Y'all in Christ God Bless
  11. Blessings everyone, As some of you may be aware, I am a Honduran citizen, and today I was covering this story with detail to some Worthy Chatters. I will be posting the story, by an insider, me, here on Worthy, but to be short: Keep Honduras in prayers. What happened today, wasn't a Coup de Tat. It was the legal system executing the law to its fully and precise extent. What happened today is what will separate Honduras from dictatorships like the one lived in Venezuela because of Hugo Chavez... So, please keep in prayers all... Will be posting the story soon, or in a couple of hours. Also, I would like to note something: CNN has been spinning the story completely. The president of human rights in Honduras is a very liberal, left wing person, and even he, is siding with what happened today. Please, keep my family, our businesses, Honduras, and I. In prayers. The people of Honduras, really needs the prayers. 80% of the people DID NOT SUPPORT the former president. And also condemned his acts. 99% of Congress, with a majority of members belonging to the former president's political party affiliation, were in dissaproval of his actions, his illegal actions. Siding with dictators is siding with people that are willing to do anything to obtain and maintain power. The former president tried to use the word of God, to manipulate it, for his own evil means. P.S.: Get the word out. Obama criticized the Iran's tyranny partially, only after inmense pressure by the people. Please, support Honduras, and the democracy. My parents work hard for what we have. My mother works 16 hours or so a day to keep our business alive. We employ 80 workers who's rights have never been violated. Its not fair for a dictator to come and say my parents shouldn't own that business. The businesses they worked so hard for... And a bakery, who's boxes at its main branch, other branches, and other points of sale, have John 3:16 on Them... Love Y'all in Christ. Keep in prayers, Love Y'all in Christ God Bless All
  12. Its not about "picking up a religion", but about, having a relationship, with the Everlasting God. Creator of the earth, and King, above all kings.. This relationship is achieved, thrue Jesus Christ, His One and Only Son. Qho gave His life away, for you and for me. And resurrected from the dead, 3 days later. All because of His love... Above all understanding. So that we may have, EVERLASTING LIFE. If we believe in Him, and confess Him as our Lord and Savior. Acknowledging all He has done for us... So that we may have EVERLASTING LIFE. Key part. Believing in God might not make your life easy. But,having Jesus Christ in your heart... Makes you know, someone is there for you. And the keypart of Salvation. Is eternal life. Not living a "happy" life. True hapinness however, is only found, in Jesus Christ. Amen. God Bless
  13. But have we heard it come out of His mouth? Read the statement one time normally, the second time slowly. Sounds to me more like he is referring to the current relation with Israel, again, like someone said before, things can be taken out of context. God Bless
  14. If I am not mistaken, Obama has given a null vote in about 130 things. Given, a person, if he has no awareness of a subject, the person shouldn't opine; but if you want to become a president, you should have a voice and opinion on EVERYTHING. Voting null to appease both sides of a discussion isn't that honorable if you desire to become a president. Also, for crying out loud, I would like to see true equalities of gender and race, voting for someone because of his physical characteristics like race or gender, is racism and discrimination itself. God Bless
  15. Remember "publious"? From the Federalist Papers God Bless
  16. Very beautiful story. It saddens me as well that he's term is about to expire. The U.S.A needs a man of Faith to guide a country that has been so blessed, and will continue to be. May God Bless him and his family. God Bless
  17. Canon, by far is very recognized as a good brand, however, in my personal opinion, Canon electronics bring a certain "slubbish" feeling, to them, one that I particularly, do not like. None-the-less, Canon as many have hinted, is a good pick. God Bless
  18. May God Bless You as He all ready has, and makes You a living proof of His grace, power ,and love. God Bless
  19. The key is the phrase, "person of faith." This is what liberals substitude Christianity for. True Christians actually believe we are supposed to allow our faith to change our attitudes and behavior. True Christians look at themselves as ambassadors for Christ in this world, and not just people taking up space. True Christians believe it is their responsibility to have a preserving effect on the nation's morals. "People of faith" don't. They try to make the claim that their religion shouldn't interfere with how they govern. As such, they will support things completely anti-Christ in nature such as partial birth abortion and homosexual unions. They will claim personal opposition but refuse to do anything about it. They will put more emphasis on things like love of Mother Earth than concern for the life of a child. In other words, their faith is of no value. In some cases, they actually serve the devil rather than God. You can claim to trust in God, but when you vote for infanticide, you are serving your real master satan. "But what I am suggesting is this - secularists are wrong when they ask believers to leave their religion at the door before entering into the public square. Frederick Douglas, Abraham Lincoln, Williams Jennings Bryant, Dorothy Day, Martin Luther King - indeed, the majority of great reformers in American history - were not only motivated by faith, but repeatedly used religious language to argue for their cause. So to say that men and women should not inject their "personal morality" into public policy debates is a practical absurdity. Our law is by definition a codification of morality, much of it grounded in the Judeo-Christian tradition." And also: "This brings me to my second point. Democracy demands that the religiously motivated translate their concerns into universal, rather than religion-specific, values. It requires that their proposals be subject to argument, and amenable to reason. I may be opposed to abortion for religious reasons, but if I seek to pass a law banning the practice, I cannot simply point to the teachings of my church or evoke God's will. I have to explain why abortion violates some principle that is accessible to people of all faiths, including those with no faith at all. Now this is going to be difficult for some who believe in the inerrancy of the Bible, as many evangelicals do. But in a pluralistic democracy, we have no choice. Politics depends on our ability to persuade each other of common aims based on a common reality. It involves the compromise, the art of what's possible. At some fundamental level, religion does not allow for compromise. It's the art of the impossible. If God has spoken, then followers are expected to live up to God's edicts, regardless of the consequences. To base one's life on such uncompromising commitments may be sublime, but to base our policy making on such commitments would be a dangerous thing." In the case of partial birth abortion, I think that it should be obvious to all it is wrong, even secularists. What you have is a fully formed baby being delivered prematurely and then killed as it is being born. If things have gotten so bad in this country we can't see the wrong in that, we likewise shouldn't see the wrong in killing anyone. In other words, why have a law saying I can't kill a new born? Why have a law saying I can't kill a 2 year old? Why have a law saying I couldn't kill a grown up that is causing me problems? Based on your reasoning, I would have to say that all laws that are on the books that make murder illegal need to go, because they are based on my Biblical belief that we should not murder. If you don't think that is the case, then you should be able to see what is wrong with partial birth abortion, and why it is more than just a religious belief, but it should be morally reprehensible in any civilized society. If you haven't done so Georgesbluegirl, check out this link. Look at the procedure taking place, and then tell me if you don't agree that this procedure is barbarick, and that no Christian could support it being legal. If you don't agree that is the case, then explain the difference between killing this child, and one who just came out of the womb entirely, or any other human being. Keep in mind that Obama, this "person of faith" supports this procedure being legal. Also keep in mind that it is never medically necessary to save the life of the Mother. http://www.nrlc.org/abortion/pba/PBA_Image...thers_Place.htm When and where do we draw the line? I agree with you. Even an atheist friend of mine says that the Bible is worthy to follow it's ethics and rules. Because after all, we are still alive, only by God's grace, and by what He set as laws in the Bible. God Bless
  20. Mods should moderate all this harsh comments . Sigh Go Patriots. The Giants got a touchdown drive with an offensive interference anyway. God Bless.
  21. The bible is just as bloody. Have you ever read the Qu'ran? If not than your taking those out of context and they could be reffering to anything. Oh I find it funny, that you refer to the quran as being take out of context. Some quick stuff. Anti christian writters tend to take Bible verses out of context, pointing to violence, without paying attention, to what the Chapter or story was referring to. On the other hand, the same anti christian writters, tend to quote out of context, verses in the quran, which makes it look as if islam was a religion of love and peace, they however, leave out the other versesof it which, iswhat is pretty much described in the whole quran, "kill all infidels" . If you don'tbelieve me, check it out yourself though, I wouldn't read stuff that is nothing more than garage, aka, the quran. God Bless
  22. To be 100% confident that you are correct has certain implications. There are billions of people who do not share the same amount of confidence in those beliefs, or don
  23. Mental deficiencies rarely, if ever, take away desires. If one were in such a vegetablized state where they were without desires then, yes, by themselves they would no longer be worthy of moral consideration. However, the desires of others (e.g., loved ones or friends) would still factor into moral questions. I'm not placing man and animal on identical moral planes, but both deserve moral consideration. Unless you believe animals can be abused indiscriminately your moral theory needs to be able to account for both human rights and animal rights. After your comment regarding people in veggie state, I would like to officially call you a nazi, and an immoral person. Because a person cannot do anything or think anything, doesn;t take away that the person is alive. There is no proof that stem cell can cure anything. Agrees completely.
