  1. Mhh! Yeah, thanks for that Ray - I just remembered "Every Man's Battle" is very, very helpful, informative, definitely worth a look.
  2. Stitchy, I may be younger than you by far but I know what you're dealing with. I've been in the same situation with (my now ex-girlfriend) Claire..and I want her back. When I read your story, and the other thread dealing with this, I jumped. Because it's ringing bells deep within.. I'm here if you want to talk, ok? Don't take me lightly due to my age.
  3. As a male teenager, I understand exactly where you're coming from, and how easy it is to find, and slip into such things. And I know how you feel; when you're alright, it's great. When you slip, avalanche. It's really tough, especially if you have a graphic memory. But I'd like you to know I'm praying for you. I know that those links are really, very helpful. I haven't gone to such extremes, but if it gets worse, I'm considering getting a filter for my internet. Of my own accord. Perhaps that may help you? choosing a password such as "ssahsfsfjshswfhwrh" for it may also help - random typing you won't remember. Anyway. Just a small input. Despite not having much "worldly experience" compared to some might have, (no offence to anyone - I just plain don't know) I offer you my support, and would like to say that you can PM/email me whenever you like, should you want to. -Max
  4. I stopped eating...mainly due to my relationship troubles, I don't want to eat. I found I've lost weight. Which is interesting, considering I'm a teenager, still growing, and just about 6 foot tall... I try to drink plenty of water, though. So that's ok for now.
  5. Amen to that. I personally think that as long as you spend time with the Lord, and acknowledge that "The Lord brings us to pastures new" in that we may rest in Him, and be comforted, a Sabbath isn't required. I do go to Church on Sundays, not as obligation but because I love it. And as that's my personal thoughts in a nutshell, I wouldn't wish to push those upon you, my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. May God bless you. -Max
  6. I guess people will do anything to feel a purpose. It's not right to laugh, but it's not right either. Jesus is the only way. Which is more likely, a miracle or being able to push others away with a sweep of the hand? I'll stick to miracles, thanks. Because they do happen =)
  7. I admit that I like the message that is in the Stevie Wonder song, but it does seem to lean towards reincarnation, perhaps not in the Christian sense of being "risen with Christ". This thread troubles me, to see so many conclude that the beloved bride of God has so many..holes. weak points. I'm from the UK, and I'm Church of England by type. I'm really glad that our Church only preaches the Gospel "as is" and isn't making a grave error to say "we must worship like this" or "you must have done all this". I agree so much. Christ isn't just a sunday feature. He longs for all of our days. I wish that there were something I could say to truly impact this thread, but I am not as full of grace as I have ever been of late.
  8. Well, I'm a teenager, and I have to say that I agree with what's being said here, but I find the "too many hugs" ref. too much. You can never have enough hugs. Sure, if they were trying to grope someone...but they're not. They're in Church, and I have to come across all innocent, but in my part of the world, that's not done. Ever.
