  1. First the Vatican, then the US. Israel is quickly becoming internationally isolated. The day will come when Israel will have no one, but the One to turn to for help. The stiff necks will finally be bowed in humility and they will acknowledge their Creator and Savior and ask for His favor once again. For the longest time, most of the people in the USA thought we were YHVH's chosen and the arrogance from believing that has led us to the point we are at now. Now our necks have stiffened and our pride keeps us on our feet. Will we be humbled?
  2. They believe in Jesus Commandment to "love one another. . ." John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. But, the "love" that homosexuals demonstrate to each other is not the same kind of love that Jesus was talking about. Otherwise, even a thoroughly wicked person could still love another person and still be following Jesus Commandment. (Hitler loved Eva Braun, Stalin loved Nadehzda Alliluyeva, etc.) What I believe Jesus was saying is that we are to love one another in Christ as brothers and sisters (His followers), not as sexual partners. This type of spiritual love has been perverted in the American culture, the love that people are actually feeling is affection towards one another, but they don't have the spiritual discernment to see the difference in brotherly/sisterly love and carnal "love," so they just think it's the same thing and make up a bunch of other buzz words like tolerance, equality, diversity etc. to try to understand it. It would be like growing up as an orphan, then getting married later and trying to understand the love your spouse has for his/her family. You see it, you can physically demonstrate it, but it's a love that you won't ever know until you have a child of your own.
  3. The homo-fascists won't quit until all Church steeples are toppled and replaced with a rainbow flag.
  4. High D-Dawn, it doesn't seem like they do, because they keep voting for representatives that are hostile to their religious beliefs.
  5. I don't trust Chief Justice Roberts anymore. If Kennedy had indicated that he'd vote against gay marriage, Roberts would have been the swing vote. I believe he is being blackmailed to support Obama's policies and is compromised. He should be the first justice to step down after Obama leaves office. Follow up edit: I believe the President actually has control over 6 justices on the Supreme Court, but uses the 5-4 majority to keep Americans from rebelling. As long as we believe that the court is divided and not stacked we won't do anything to change the status quo. But, as we've seen, these 5-4 rulings are becoming more lopsided towards progressivism and away from liberty.
  6. For those that don't believe in YHVH, this world is the only thing they will ever have, of course they are going to run around screaming that the sky is falling every time something happens to their ecosystem. How horrible it must be to believe that nothing exists beyond this life and that this is a good as it's going to get. This world isn't all that great, there's hunger, poverty, illness, and treachery all around us, I can't wait until the day when all will be made new and the world will be a paradise again, though I have doubts that I will experience this renewal in the physical domain.
  7. I am addressing Uncertain, but I feel that there hasn't been a whole lot of Christian based discourse going on in this discussion by any of us, me included.
  8. Most of the state legislatures in the US are conservative or right leaning, an open convention will benefit us more than we think.
  9. You do realize you are making secular arguments on a Christian webpage, don't you? From a spiritual standpoint, the US is in bad shape and that is what these discussions all amount to anyway. Christians have a right to determine the type of morals and values they want their government to have. I find it quite ironic that you feel no one is willing to agree with or listen to you, when you are basically walking into our church and attempting to persuade us to embrace secular values within our congregation.
  10. The next step is a constitutional convention. 2/3 of the states will have to be on board to create a new amendment. That would be 38 states.
  11. For too long the US has been serving 2 masters. The choice has been made, and now it follows a master of its own making.
  12. This is such a low point in our history, but I'm sure the progressives will find a way to lower the bar even further. Give them a year and what is shocking to our sensibilities now, will be the next hot topic this time next year, oh what new rights will be invented then? To those that are despondent, retreat from the social and media scene and do something enjoyable with your families this weekend and next. Please don't subject yourselves to the gloating and celebratory activities of the winners.
  13. Now that the progressives have won everything they have dreamed of, what is next for the rest of us? This is as low as it gets, has the US finally hit rock bottom, or are we still bracing for impact? When the people no longer have a voice, what will be their recourse?
  14. Doctors do have a right to offer counsel to their patients to instruct them on how to get healthy, and stay healthy. Sometimes that counsel means advising them to not repeat unhealthy habits and behaviors. This is no different than a Doctor telling a patient with lung cancer to quit smoking, or a person with high blood pressure to reduce their cholesterol and fat intake and exercise more. He's better off somewhere else anyway, no one should be forced to violate their conscience where they work.
  15. The islamists are inadvertently demonstrating their own hypocrisy (idolatry) by placing such emphasis on symbolism. They are only worshipping the god of forces. Dan 11:38
  16. Yes, societal virtues are constantly at war with the Law. Societies are made up of people and their virtues have tendency to move away from YHVH. This is why it is so important to have a foundation we can rebuild on when society moves so far away from YHVH it can no longer be redeemed and eventually self destructs. We are experiencing total societal disruption and have no doubt I will witness its collapse and destruction in my lifetime.
  17. One day, everything created by the hands of men will be destroyed, will it really matter who possesses the deed when that happens?
  18. To a heathen, pagan, or atheist, nothing is sacred, not even the sanctuary of a Church, Synagogue. To these people, atheists specifically, nothing can be sacred if in their opinion it stems from a superstitious belief.
  19. One day, everything on Earth will be destroyed and made new and nothing of the past will be remembered. Rev. 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
  20. The FFR is overstepping as usual. Once again they are bullying a soft target, they need to be punched in the nose, (figuratively speaking). If the Sheriff is on duty and was invited to speak by the church, he is well within his rights as a citizen, lawman, and public figure to speak in his official capacity. Now, if he was preaching at work, or in a public place (public being publically owned, such as a park, sheriff's office, or any other government building/property somewhere), in uniform, yes there could be a legal issue with that. A church is sanctuary and a lawman, or service member in uniform (fireman, EMT, military, police, etc.), is allowed to worship freely in uniform in a religious setting. I am more unnerved that there are agents in these churches reporting on the activities of private and public citizens in them. Whoever is behind this, is no different than Hitler's brown shirt informants were.
  21. I don't recognize my own country today and it isn't from the NDAA or Patriot Act. Which for some reason, every conversation you are in, returns to a debate about these two acts. Socially, Morally, Religiously, Temperamentally, Economically, Ethically, all of these and more have been upended in my lifetime. The biggest threat our nation faces today is the internal collapse of all of these domains. It is going to happen, I don't see a recovery from this, I believe we must hit rock bottom first and I don't know if we've already dropped off the cliff and are plunging toward impact, or if we are teetering on the edge. There are good, moral and ethical people in the US military and Law Enforcement. Many more than the bad apples. Don't let the Mass Hysteria Media convince you that they are your enemy. The thin blue, green and red lines are there to protect us and when their day comes, they will have to decide if they are loyal to the people or the government. Right now, the powers that be know the loyalty of these guardians lies with their families and communities. It's no wonder they are being undermined and the citizenry are being manipulated to be suspicious and untrusting of them. Be suspicious of the lawmakers, jurists and judges, especially when they are singing the same tune, but their power comes from the peace and security that is guaranteed by the green, blue and red lines. If those lines disappeared, they will no longer be shielded from the people they have used, abused and stolen from. If anyone should be feeling uneasy at this moment, it should be our elected officials.
  22. I know that Uncertain. These two topics have been thoroughly debated here at Worthy.
