  1. I do not think it is time to go off the meds because of the condition of maturity. It all boils down to a simple question. Do you trust the word of God or the opinion of a medical professional?
  2. My first question is why the pastor is not praying with you? Anyway, the way I see it, if the medication is keeping the symptoms in check, don't go off of them until the symptoms are gone. If the problem is demonic, once the demons go the symptoms will go and then you won't need the medication. (And if the problem is demonic, you will know when they leave.) As far as yelling the name of Jesus, there's nothing to be afraid of. Even failure isn't something to be afraid of. You've proven that you have strength of resilience to get past failure. So you can do this. Do you have any praise music you can play that speaks the name of Jesus? That's a great way to rise above the fear is to start praising. Don't do anything else but praise. When you are focused on Jesus like that, it is so much easier to yell His name in worship and as declaration and against the enemy. Praying When dealing with the demonic, speaking the name of Jesus or even yelling the name of Jesus is most likely going to be fruitless. You must understand the power of attorney you have to use the Name of Jesus before you can effectively see deliverance. Demons even speak the name of Jesus.
  3. All Christians have the authority to cast out demons. Her pastor is most likely avoiding dealing with the demonic attacks for the same reason I would avoid dealing with them. If the person whom you delivered from demons is immature, the demons will return with a host of others and make the situation much worse that it was in the first place.
  4. As long as you fear them, you will lose the fight against them. If you are afraid of them, stay on your meds. When you spiritually mature enough to win the battle, fight it then.
  5. You have seven angels in this passage. This is in no way saying these 7 angels are the 7 Spirits. Context is wrong. Heb 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? 14 Are they not all ministering spirits , sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? What point are you trying to make? Angels are spirits? I think we all agree on that fact.
  6. I did not really understand your circumstances. I apologize for being insensitive.
  7. You are in the right passage, you have just counted a bit wrong. We know the passage is speaking of The Holy Spirit. His name in this passage contains His first attribute. He is "The Spirit of the Lord." He is also "The Spirit of Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel" etc. Notice the capitalized "S" in the first sentence and the little "s" in the rest. That is why I did not count them one in the same. To me, it is saying that the 6 are part of the 1, not different from. The capitalizations of deity are done at the discretion of the translator. The orig. text does not do this. It is my opinion that in this case they errored. Some publishers capalize deity and some do not. My main study Bible is published by Cambridge. Cambride does not capitalize deity because they feel that there are too many cases where we can not definitively make the decision based on orig. manuscripts.
  8. I read quite well. If you had read my post, you would see this. Working better but not completely resolved is the key. What that means is that the damage of the malware has been contained for now but rest assured it will unpack again at a most inopportune time. It is kind of like repairing a car. You can use the $175 factory part or the $25 aftermarket part that works about 80% up to specification. You take your car to a mechanic who tells you to replace the aftermarket part with an OEM part and you accuse him of brand bashing. Since no one seems to be interested in properly fixing the problem; I will gladly exit the conversation. I do sincerely apologize for upsetting anyone. It was not my intention. The fact that one will spend a little now or a lot later still should be pointed out. There are a lot of things that I say I do not have the money for. What I really mean is there is no allocation in my budget for them and I do not intend to divert funds from other areas to cover them. Without knowing LadyC, I have no idea if "not having the money" means I am broke or if it means that the items are not high enough on the priority list to justify the expenditure. Sometimes telling people what they want to hear is the easy thing but not the best thing. If the free programs worked effectively, the paid ones would not be in business.
  9. Seriously. I believe God actively created the univers and all contained within. What I have always wondered is why many Christians find fault with God using the mechanism of the Big Bang to begin the process.

  11. I dont understand your issue with the big bang theory. the "big bang theory" can go a long way to offering proof that there is a creator. There is no reason for a Christian to run from it. to paraphrase one of my favorite Christian Apologist "the big bang demands a big banger" Many secular scientist today are running from the big bang theory because they dont like the questions that come with it. I 100% oppose macro evolution, but I will readily admit that I support the Big bang theory. It does not conflict with scrpture. When I work a homicide and see blood splatter in a room, the logical conclusion I come to is that it splattered from a central point.
  12. I am sorry that you are in a bad mood. I am personally not in a bad mood, so I am not allowing your bad mood to spill over onto me. If you consider stating facts as bashing security providers, then I guess I am of no help to you. It is not my desire to sell you a software for my profit. I get no commission from the sale of any security product. I am also on no "high horse." What I have said about security providers is not opinion; it is summarization of well documented facts obtained through years of reading extensive bench testing reports. I really did have a desire to help you correct your computer problem. If what you were doing was working, you would have no need to ask for help. Unfortunately, it appears that you have a problem that is going to require a little cash expenditure to properly correct. I really do emphathize with the fact that you can not spend that money right now. I no longer work on computers. I used to program and I will admit that I am no longer on the cutting edge, but I have remained very much in the technology loop even though I do not make my living that way at the present. What concerns me is the fact that if you do not get this malware completely off your machine, the long term loss will be significant. I do not know what you use your computer for. Possibly online banking or online bill paying. If you use your computer for either of those, It would cost you much more money in the long run to get hit by a harvester than it would cost you to properly secure the machine. You can also infect machines you communicate with through e-mail etc. You can infect networks you log onto. You can be using the machine today and it is fine; start up tomorrow and windows OS is 40% corrupt. You asked for an I.T. geek. You got the opinion of an I.T. geek. You did not like what I had to say so you let your bad mood spill over onto me. I am sorry that what I had to tell you was not what you wanted to hear. My last 2cents before I leave you alone is Use CC cleaner. It probably will not work, but it is free and stands a much better chance of getting the registry straightened out than the free malware programs. I wish you the best in resolving the problem.
  13. Actually, the best help is often telling someone to get the right security software. Your assesment of i.t. having their pet program is also not usually the case either. At different times, differnt software is best at detecting and removing malware. A good i.t. reccommends whatever is the best at the particular time. McCaffee has always been good at detecting known viruses. It has always been pure trash at detecting unknown viruses and unknown spyware. McCaffee is the only program I know of that the hackers have been able to write hijackers for that will cause it to uninstall itsself. McCaffee is pretty crappy. Norton is good at detecting everything but has a very heavy foot print. If you have the system resources for it, it does a great job. The best at detection varies depending on who happens to come up with the best heuristic at the time. You can look at detection test comparisons between the big 15 and the program that is #1 this month will probably be #12 in 6 months. It is not about brand loyalty, it is about using who is best at the time. I currently have licenses for paid versions of AVG, Kapersky, CA, and Trend Micro. At this point in time, Kapersky is beating the brakes off everyone else. In six months, who know who will be on top. McCaffee is pretty much always on the bottom. Norton is a solid program but it's other drawback is that it is usually the number 1 seller. Hackers intentionally attack it because they know they are most likely to encounter it as the security software. Norton is very quick to patch the holes, but you run a much greater risk of encountering malware intentionally written to circumvent Norton than you run a risk of this with one of the lesser selling security providers. I personally would not be content with 20% hijacking. The machine is either clean or it is not. What else might be on there? Perhaps harvesters? Usually malware unpacks itsself in phases. The worst is quite possibly yet to come.
  14. My friend, who is a professional computer programmer, calls Mcafee "McCrappie." He says it is as worthless as...............(can't say, he cusses a lot.) He used to program for the US dept. of defense so I trust his opinion. He is about as capable af computer hacker as you will find. He does not illegally hack, he designs security systems. Companies pay him to try to hack into their systems and correct the problem if he is able to do it. Once a hijacker, virus, etc. has actually begun to run on your system; they only way you are going to get rid of the really well written ones is to restore the system. Not restore it to last week, but restore it to the way it left the factory. If you are going to have a chance of cleaning the computer with software, it is going to have to be good software. I would say your best bet would be Kapersky or Nod 32. Neither is free, but you ususally get what you pay for. You can perform a system restore pretty easily. Back up your entire system, except the OS, onto an external hard drive. Then take that drive to a computer service tech and have it swept. Reinstall your OS, then restore all your other programs from the swept external HD. I would then password protect my computer and tell this other person that if they are not capable of using it without messing it up then they just are not going to use it.
  15. I will not even take much of what the Government tells me is safe and my Dr. tries to prescribe to me. I sure am not going to eat "plantfood." Unfortunately, a high deat rate is actually the most effective tool in stopping the use of a particular drug. It has now been banned in the Uk Good. As with most recreational chemicals, they are either going to kill you now or kill you later. I guess in the grand schem of things, it is better if they "kill you now" because people will not use them if they see an immediate risk. Most people do not care about the future, just the now.
  16. I remember reading many of Darwin's early quotes. He was always emphatic that discoveries within the fossil record would appear in abundance to support origin of the species. I think that as to date we are still at 0 credible fossil discoveries. On a slightly different note, why has everyone forgotten that The Origin of The Species, AKA Evolution, was a 100% racist work? The complete title of his thesis is "Origin of the Species and the preservation of favoured races in the struggle for life." Don't flame me, I am going to tell you what Darwin believed. I do not believe it. Darwin believed that the lighter the skin color of man, the more highly evolved he was. Darwin believed that the Black race was the oldest and least genetically "favoured" of the races. Darwin and his theory are both 100% racist. Everyone has seemed to conveniently have forgotten that. It is also odd that the last half of his orig. title was omitted at second publication of the work.

    Circumcision

There are plenty of Jewish Christians today. They are called Messianic Jews. All that I know do practice circumcision.
  21. Why would you ask God to break your heart? To me, that is just a dumb prayer. The nature of your question begs to bring up another question. Do you think God would do something to you that was not for your benefit? I think what she was saying is that God would make us sad about the thinigs that make him sad (like the lostness of people). To ask God to give us His heart about things is a wonderful prayer. Knowing that God would never do anything to harm us does not mean that following HIm is always easy I can have a heart for the broken hearted without being broken hearted. We are probably just defining the terms differently Probably so. The thing we have to be careful of is opening up doors to Satan with our prayers. Satan and his demons can hear. When we ask God to do certain things, they also hear our prayers. When we pray a prayer such as "break my heart" they they hear that prayer. We have asked God to do something, so when something happens, we will not resist it but accept it. Satan can attack and we do not fight him because we think it is from God.
