You are not being "crucified." You are being corrected. You do not bear the truth, but rather a works-based salvation. Drop the phoney persecution complex. I dealt extensively with your remarks about justification, reconciliation and some of the Scriptures you used and how you are mishandling them. You have not been attacked. You have not seen "attacked," yet. The fact remains that your hermeneutics are very poor, and you lack a great deal of skill in exegesis. That is not an attack, that is fact. You pencil in your own subjective meanings to the Scriptures to force them to coincide with SDA doctrine. You simply have a problem dealing with facts. You characterize correction with insults, while saying that anyone who disagrees with you is not listening to the Holy Spirit. Jesus told us to deny ourselves. our wants, wishes and desires dont really come into play. this is true faith - to believe God that the toughts of man are evil continuously. a person interjecting their will is most certainly going to go against God. if one uses their faith to deny themselves and trust God, then that measure of faith will grow so that nothing is impossible for them.

It is hard to imagine anyplace more polluted than Los Angeles. I hate going there because of all the smog. It makes you choke looking at it. Even if Fairbanks is polluted, Alaska is a huge state. Why not move to one of the remote areas? If that won't work for you, I drive coast to coast and have seen many areas of places like Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, etc. that have clean air and would make wonderful places to dwell for a health conscious person like yourself. every place has its hazards. the lord called me to jump in the middle of the frying pan. thats where i went. i worship God, not my body. and as far as the wilderness of alaska is concerned, i did that when i was younger. i was too sick when i left ot do anything. i am just now able to put in a day of chores at home. i think i am in a pretty clean spot, but it has its drawbacks. awareness is half the battle.

But I am not sure how it applies to what we are talking about. because much of what orthodox christianity is based upon is a bunch of mental gymnastics based upon hand-picked verses in the bible. i believe those verses, too, but in light of allthe other verses. the scripture cannot be broken. it cannot contradict itself. this is the true mark of correct understanding - is it consistent throughout the scriptures. the doctrines of men are just that. calvin, luther, the pope, billy graham, willie nelson, oops, scratch willie, hes ok, and all the other authorities that are leaned upon for understanding dont cut it with me. how can there be so many denominations? which one is right? its easy - none of them. they are all guessing, and at times, guessing wrong.

The only thing wrong you did in eating pork was defiling your own conscience and sinning by not eating in faith. If you feel you sinned, confess it and move on. youre kidding me, right? I am absolutely serious. well, thats too bad. by your definition i am defiling my conscience every time i eat anything but fruit. that is my goal - fruitarian. do you have a goal? do people make fun of you when they are aware of it and know you havent reached it yet? i am down to one cup of coffee per day, is that good or am i a failure there too? i am fully aware of what i put in my body and what it does in there and exactly when it is out. i spend at least part of my day with nothing solid in my guts every day. i am that in tune with my body. i got this way because it was essential to my recovery. all of the health things i say, i have proved to myself through self experimentation. i take nobody's word for anything unless i have a lot of experience with them, then i still check it out to see how it works with me. everyone is a little different, another fallacy in the one size fits all medical system.

Angels4U, I have had a lot of disagreement with the positions THE CHILD has taken, but I have been called a lot worse than a swine eater. I guess technically since I do eat pork chops, barbeque, bacon, etc. I am one. There are a lot of people that believe that God gave those laws concerning clean and unclean foods to protect his people from disease, and that seems to be his position. I don't agree with it, and likely won't stop eating pork from time to time, but don't mind him giving his opinion. actually, i posted an article and asked what people thought of it and got attacked for what was in the article. if people would read more carefully, it clearly stated it was an article by ed mccabe. i have to be discredited. otherwise, everyone here is in trouble.

warming is irrefutable. i left alaska two years ago and before i left the changes were in the face - glaciers receding out of sight, the northwest passage opening up year round, the tundra melting, open water at the north pole. the list goes on and on. at the same time this has been going on, i had plenty of down time so i monitored the solar activity daily for years. the sun is more active, the planets are all changing and getting warmer, and there is a plethora of empirical data to confirm all of this. something is going on with the solar system and you can ask any knowledgable scientist about that. my point was the rest of it was politics. man is having an effect, but, in accordance with the law of sowing and reaping, it is mostly a deleterious one on himself. the reason i call the EPA the environmental poisoning agency is that they pretend to protect us while actually they are a protection racket for big business to dump on us whatever increases profits. look at car exhaust. we are to believe that since lead has been taken out of gas(not in other parts of the world so we still eat and breath it) and they monitor for co2, co, and hydrocarbons, then car exhaust is safe. nothing could be further from the truth. these things they have "taken care of" are the diversion to the real problems with car exhaust. you are a driver. you have smelled all of the sulfer compounds and other noxious smells in traffic. these sulfides and nitrides are very dangerous to health. yet they are unaddressed by our great and glorious protectors. a case in point is the 1996 summer olympics hosted by the great southern city of atlanta(God love dixie!). during the games a portion of the city was blocked off to vehicular traffic. within this area were five major hospitals. while the vehicles were not there, the amount of emergency room asthma attacks dropped by 50%! as everyone knows, those attacks can be life threatening. when the vehicles were permitted the numbers went back up. anecdotal evidence, i know, but compelling enough to investigate, but who is going to do that and risk losing funding. that is life in america. so, do i support a liar like gore? heaven forbid. but it is interesting to watch him tell his tale, knowing that his irrefutable evidence for global warming is being used for political ends, and to try and get even more unwarrented control over the populace. we are in quite a mess in this country. i am but an observer. i dont believe any of them, or vote. why participate in an outright fraud?
