  1. Megan. There is nothing wrong with being a little overweight. You are very young and especially as a swimmer you will carry a little weight because of the strength you are developing by your swimming. You mention that your friend is always rude to you! Iwould suggest you ask her not to be rude to you or you will no longer considder her a friend. Friends are never rude to each other. Dont worry about your weight. As you age you will grow out of this. Just keep swimming and stop worrying. Your friend in Jesus. Haz. That's nice Haz. I agree.
  2. Lost Sheep, If you love a woman and believe that she is the one for you, go with it. Don't be afraid to love. Relationships are learning experiences, we learn as we go.
  3. Weight is not the total measure of a person. The joy of the Lord is your strength and you were fearfully and wonderfully made by God. When you find a way to lose weight that suits you then you can do it because you feel good about yourself anyway. Feel good about yourself, you have a lot to offer.
  4. Welcome to Worthy Backontrack! It looks like we answered your question? Also welcome Gateway!
  5. I know it's dissappointing sometimes when people let you down. I've learned to focus on God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I learned that focusing on christians led me astray and discouraged. People are not perfect but when they are christians we expect them to be all the time. Forgive your friend, ask God to forgive you, and forgive yourself. Let me know how it goes.
  6. Welcome to Worthy Lost Sheep. Don't worry many gentlemen much older than you become fathers for the first time and have plenty of energy to play with the kids. There are many descent women of the Lord out there, trust me. Don't give up hope, don't measure things by your age. There is no cut off age. God is merciful. Delight yourself in Him and He will give you the desires of your heart. He who findeth a wife findeth a good thing.
  7. Praying for you also Trisha-Anne. Welcome to worthy. Stay awhile.

    payment of sins

Welcome Madron! When we sin we pray and ask God to forgive us. We repent from that sin, turn away, and promise not to do it again. God's grace and mercy extends towards us, but we can allow sin to become habitual.
  15. I agree Damo1, we do need to keep this lifted up constantly. I will share it with the women at our intercessory group. Welcome to Worthy.
  16. Welcome gettin in Tune!
  17. Yes, of course I agree, life does hurt at times. Ask God to heal those hurts so you can move on and continue to live and love and be all that God has called you to be. An older wiser supervisor of mine once told me; be like a duck, just let the water roll off your back. What she meant was when hard times come, just let them roll off your back and keep swimming. There was something about ducks having oil glands on their backsides that causes the water to roll off. It made a lot of sense to me as I saw problems just roll off my back. I love you and am praying for you.
  18. But welcome to worthy!

    Hello

I read the article and did not have any impressions about it. I believe we must live for God and trust Him in all things. I live on the east coast too. I trust God to take care of me.

    Hello

    Hi ATX, welcome aboard.
  21. No thanks on that last sandwich.
  22. Actually, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches is a staple. It is really tasty with a nice cold glass of milk. Even better with ice in the milk. I made some homemade peach jam once, very good!
