  1. What utter trash!! Who is this man?!
  2. I've seen that letter a few times before. Everytime I read it, I am challenged to go out and win more souls for Christ. Think about it folks, if you walk around your local town/city.... probably about 9 out of 10 people you meet on the street aren't saved. And out of those 9 people... I'd say that at least one of them will be searching for God, but just doesn't know where to find Him. It is our responsibilty to preach the gospel to every creature. Answering a student's question - 'Will the heathen who have not heard the Gospel be saved?' C.H. Spurgeon replied - 'It is more a question with me whether we, who have the Gospel and fail to give it to those who have not, can be saved." Now, I realise that most of the time, it's isn't practical or sensible.... to approach every single person you see in your daily life - but how many people, do we neglect to witness to when the opportunity is there? I apply this criticism to myself also - even to-day, I felt a great deal of guilt for neglecting to witness to a number of classmates who I know quite well. The opportunity was there, but I decided to keep quiet - much to my deep regret now. Mark 16:15 - "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
  3. This argument depends on whether you stand with Arminism or Calvinism. Personally, I go for Tribulationism! Tribulationism says - Man cannot comprehend how God works. (Isaiah 55:9 - "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.") God is just. His ways are perfect. (Deuteronomy 32:4 - He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.)
  4. Erm?
  5. Some of your questions have only got one possible answer - such as #15. I've never seen 'Family Fued' but I think we have something similar called 'Family Fortunes' in the UK. Anyway... 1. Name one of the Ten Commandments. Thou shalt not kill. 2. Name one of the 12 disciples. Peter. 3. Name a woman in the Bible. Eve. 4. A famous/well known prayer. Lord's prayer. 5. Something God does on the first seven days of Earth. Creates man. 6. A book of the Old Testament. Genesis. 7. Name somebody who had something to do with animals in the Bible. Noah. 8. What is love according to I Corinthians 13? Kind. 9. A miracle of Jesus. Walking on water. 10. A Bible verse with the word heart in it. Matthew 6:21 - "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." 11. Someone who was there when Jesus was born or came to visit. Joseph. 12. First person born in the Bible Cain 13. Name three of Noah
  6. Give it a kick. That normally fixes my computer.
  7. 'Cause it hasn't been FIXED! (What happened? Hit by lightning?) How do I fix it?
  8. Ask you a question? Okay, why is my TV broke?
  9. Howdy Mike, Welcome to Worthy. I'll answer as best I can. He already has made a rock that cannot be moved. Jesus Christ. Yes. I do believe in Jesus because of the Bible. I also believe in Jesus because of the things I've seen in my life, and the lives of others.... Actually, the Bible tells us in a number of places about the sin of homosexuality. You know about Sodom and Gomorrha right? Well, even in the New Testament, we are reminded about the sins of these people. Jude 1:7 - "Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire." Romans 10:9 - "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
  10. No! Cactus seeds aren't edible.... ! In fact, the warm conditions inside your body provide a suitable habitat for growth! You need to get the seeds removed before a cactus starts growing.... ....I'm only joking by the way...
  11. Hiya Gill Gill! Sorry to hear about your bad day, but I'll be praying for ya! Thought I'd share a wee story with you that I found on here before... ----- There was a couple who used to go to England to shop in the beautiful stores. They both liked antiques and pottery and especially teacups. This was their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. One day in this beautiful shop they saw a beautiful teacup. They said, "May we see that? We've never seen one quite so beautiful." As the lady handed it to them, suddenly the teacup spoke. "You don't understand," it said. "I haven't always been a teacup. There was a time when I was red and I was clay. My master took me and rolled me and patted me over and over and I yelled out, "let me alone", but he only smiled, "Not yet." "Then I was placed on a spinning wheel," the teacup said, "and suddenly I was spun around and around and around.Stop it! I'm getting dizzy! I screamed. But the master only nodded and said, 'Not yet.' Then he put me in the oven. I never felt such heat. I wondered why he wanted to burn me, and I yelled and knocked at the door. I could see him through the opening and I could read his lips as He shook his head, 'Not yet.' Finally the door opened, he put me on the shelf, and I began to cool. 'There, that's better,' I said. And he brushed and painted me all over. The fumes were horrible. I thought I would gag. 'Stop it, stop it!' I cried. He only nodded, 'Not yet.' Then suddenly he put me back into the oven, not like the first one. This was twice as hot and I knew I would suffocate. I begged. I pleaded. I screamed. I cried. All the time I could see him through the opening nodding his head saying, 'Not yet.' Then I knew there wasn't any hope. I would never make it. I was ready to give up. But the door opened and he took me out and placed me on the shelf. One hour later he handed me a mirror and said, 'Look at yourself. And I did. I said, 'That's not me; that couldn't be me. It's beautiful. I'm beautiful.' 'I want you to remember, then,' he said, 'I know it hurts to be rolled and patted, but if I had left you alone, you'd have dried up. I know it made you dizzy to spin around on the wheel, but if I had stopped, you would have crumbled. I knew it hurt and was hot and disagreeable in the oven, but if I hadn't put you there, you would have cracked. I know the fumes were bad when I brushed and painted you all over, but if I hadn't done that, you never would have hardened; you would not have had any color in your life. And if I hadn't put you back in that second oven, you wouldn't survive for very long because the hardness would not have held. Now you are a finished product. You are what I had in mind when I first began with you. ------- God Bless your brother Trig!
  12. I like that analogy! As others have said - You're not alone! Psalm 40:1 - (it's in my signature)
  13. I would agree with Andy Pandy (AndrewA). Unless you feel that God wants you to tell people about your plans.... then the Lord has no requirement of you.
  14. Revelation 8:1 - "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." Assuming your friend believes in evolution.... you can respond by posing a question to him.... Where did evolution begin? Where did the tiny molecules, from where we're supposed to have 'evolved' come from?
