Many good posts already - There are a lot of supernatural themes in cartoons such as Avatar. I think a lot of adults would be surprised at what is being shown on children's programs.

Dreams and visions are given for a purpose. It is a difficult matter to know when to share and when they're given for us just to pray about privately. I understand when someone has been "burned" as indicated in the above post and the advice that they would give. The first couple of posts are good, I would only add - After praying and you definitely feel that it's to be shared - and sometimes a lot of time will pass before you know for sure - then is there someone who has the same type of and has had lots of experiences that you can talk with about it? Sometimes they can tell you immediately and sometimes it will take time - maybe months before they can give you feedback. This person won't mind telling you if necessary, don't share this with anyone else - it's just to be prayed about by us. Of course, it'll be left up to you if you take this person's advice or not.

cjrose, your strength comes from the Lord. Select some verses that are meaningful to you and think/focus on them.

In reference to the Twin Towers, have you heard the numerous stories about why many people were not at work that morning? It's amazing. Concerning the nuclear explosion vision - we pray for grace and mercy.

In our area, several different denominations come together to supply what's needed for the 4th of July and the fall harvest celebrations. It's free and open to anyone who wants to participate. Are there functions in your area where the various church groups come together? Do you think it's important? Thanks.

Nothing had ever happened like that before. But since that time I've learned to be more aware of what is going on. The Bible says that in the last days, there would be more dreams and visions. I agree with the above poster about not writing it off - and I don't think you are. suggestion: keep a journal, even if you think they're pizza dreams. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

This question is being discussed on another forum and an example that's been given is trees were used in pagan worship. So people are questioning whether to put up Christmas trees or not. IMHO God made trees so that's the true origin and the enemy has perverted the original intent of many things.

tye2 - looks like almost everyone agrees with your pastor. A speaker recently suggested we tear our Bibles in half so we could more easily carry it and read it waiting for drs appointments, etc. So I'm assuming that many wouldn't have a problem doing that either.

Yes, there are "pizza" dreams but there are dreams that are from the Lord. Here's a personal example, when our youngest son was in the 3rd grade, I dreamed that he was in an accident but survived. I didn't tell anyone. However, months later when we got the phone call that he had been in an accident, I yelled to my husband as we were running out the door, he's going to be ok! And our son ended up with a broken foot after being hit by a car traveling about 45 mph. After things had settled down, I told them about the dream. My husband said he had wondered why I didn't fall apart when we got the news and could hardly believe I was telling him our son was going to be ok after being hit by a car before we even got to him. But I just knew (inside) that our son was going to be okay in spite of the fact he had blood, glass, grass, gravel, etc. everywhere. He ask me at the emergency room - am I going to die? I told him No! There are different types of visions, prophecies - too much info to cover here. Usually when people have dreams like this, pray and ask the Lord to reveal the meaning to you and He will - it might not happen immediately - the interpretation that is. I don't think this dream means you're going to die soon or anything like that. It's just a confirming dream of God's presence in your life.

#3 - sounds like there's so few women in the Bible so can anyone remember one that's mentioned (this isn't just my opinion - I ask others). So you could ask - Name the first woman, Name the woman who had a baby at 90 years of age, The mother of Jesus was ?, etc.

good posts above on those who believe in pray. Afterall, the Word says, "pray without ceasing." Frankly, I'm glad the Lord hasn't answered some of my prayers such as when I prayed for twins. How STUPID was that!

Since there are many different perspectives about the order - not really concerned about that but just the Biblical scriptures for the things that will happen prior to the last 3.5 yrs of the tribution? Thanks.

You have certainly been through a lot. We'll pray that the Lord will lead you about which church you should go to. What city are you in?

Perhaps he was really involved in a church previously and got hurt/offended/etc. But if this is across the board - no activities anyplace - then is he concerned there will be a lot of expense, "responsibilites" won't get done, perhaps he really wants you to get a part-time job instead- there's a lot of "what ifs."
