The A.C.L.U. fights to get Christian expression censored in all public places, because they say it might offend someone, yet they have no concern as to how a humanistic atheist agenda offends a Christian in school. I posted the first nine chapters of my book about Old Testament prophecies of Jesus on prior post on this thread, but I'm posting chapters ten and eleven in this post. This prophecy is found in Deuteronomy 18:15, 18 and 19. This prophecy was given through Moses. Deuteronomy 18:15, 18, and 19 "The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken ...(Skipping to verse 18) ...I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him." Peter quotes from this prophecy, and applies it to Jesus Christ in Acts 3:20-23 "And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people." A prophet is one who is sent by God to deliver the message or words of God. Jesus always said that it was not his words he spoke, but the words of his Father who sent him. God said he would put his words in the mouth of this prophet in the prophecy above. Jesus Christ is actually called the Word of God in Revelation 19:13 and John 1:1. A prophet is also one who foretells events which will happen in the future. Jesus prophesied beforehand three times in his ministry that he would be crucified. He also prophesied about end times in Matthew chapter 24, Mark chapter 13, and Luke chapter 21, and also a few other places. A prophet is also one who can be associated with the working of miracles. God turned water into blood through Moses, but Jesus turned water into wine. Elijah prayed for rain, and a cloud came with rain. Jesus commanded the storm to cease, and the weather obeyed him. You can read and copy free the whole book my website at: http://www.thelordsplace.us Chapter Six The Seed I wrote in chapter two of this book that Genesis 3:15 prophesied about Jesus being the seed or offspring of the woman Eve, who would come out of the human race to be a Savior, who would save his people from their sins. There are still other prophecies, which prophesy about him being the seed of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Judah, and David. We will be looking at them in this chapter, and this chapter will also be setting the stage for prophecies which refer to the office of King, which Jesus Christ holds, and we will get deeper into prophecies of Jesus regarding his office as King in chapter seven which follows. The first prophecy here will be in regards to Jesus being the seed of Abraham. We find this prophecy in Genesis 22:18. "And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice." The Lord told Abraham that in his seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed. There were times when God was referring to the collective seed of Abraham such as the whole nation of Israel, which came through Isaac and Jacob, or even the spiritual seed of Abraham such as the church, whenever God was giving promises unto Abraham.
