  1. they will flock to the antichrist as if he were Christ, since they have been told over and over that the real Christ comes before the fake one, its just a matter of time that this deception will show its greatest threat to believers, regardless of all the warnings both the prophets and Jesus Himself gave I'm fed up with this mocking of pre-tribbers. I'm not a pre-tribber myself, but pre-tribbers will NOT be deceived. They are not so stupid as to fail to recognise the signs even if they are surprised to find out that the rapture hasn't happened when they thought it would. They know about the two witnesses. They know about the number of the Beast. Those who are deceived will be Atheists, liars, thieves, new-agers and other fools. God does not desert those who believe in him nor does he try to deceive them. Stop mocking pre-tribbers. Your smugness and display of self-superiority is evident that you have little concern for your fellow Christians and are more interested in point-scoring! When I read your post, I felt inclined to post Matthew 24. Forgive me if I sound forward, but the verses below warn us that believers will be deceived too. It won't just be non believers, and I feel we all need to bear this in mind, and not grow complacent. After all forewarned is fore armed. Matthew 24:10 elaborates on this. The other verses are also relevant. Matthew 24 The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of the End Times 24 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.” 3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” 4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. 2 Peter 3:3-4 3 Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4 They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.
  2. Anyway, I don't want to go round in circles . My point was just that the sentencing was hash hence the uproar. Whether you define racism as reverse or whatever is not the issue. All I stated was that racism is racism whether its against black or white people. How people want to 'label' it is not the issue. I remain of the belief that the sentencing was unjustifed .
  3. I agree it leads to loss of freedom. I was saying their excuse is that if you have nothing to hide then you should not worry about it. I live in such a place where there are CCTV cameras everywhere. You would not believe the rate of crime and anti-social disorder despite this!
  4. If you live in certain parts of the world, you get used to it. Apparently their argument is keep the streets safe and also the old adage that "if you have nothing to hide then it shouldn't bother you"!
  5. I have not got much to add about this. Isn't it funny that so often people want to refute the Bible and what it says . I often marvel at the way people will go out of their way just to say something from the Bible did not happen. What are they so afraid of?? Why does the word of God threaten them so much that they try to bash it?? These are the things you need to ask yourself. The answer is also related to why Christians face persecution. I think the main reason is that the Christian faith is very strong and has withstood the test of time. What strengthens it is the endurance of Christians all over the word to stand by what they believe. When you start feeling doubt watching such programmes, I would recommend that you do not lose focus on your beliefs and on the Word of God. You need to be analytical and critical when watching such programmes. Just because someone with a title (professor, doctor etc) says something does not necessarily mean its true! Some people argue that its healthy to watch such programmes as it allows debate about Christianity, its fine if your faith is very strong and you feel secure about where you stand. However such programmes can be harmful too. In addition some of them are a waste of time... Just concentrate on reading the bible and growing stronger in your faith. God be with you.
  6. The girl was released because it was past her time. She was held over because of disciplinary violations. She was NOT released early because they thought she was sentenced wrongly!! From the article: Although she had reached her length of stay
  7. you could check this website which I came across, hope it will help http://uk.wrs.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0geulFDLhFGj...daybaptist.org/ Also their statement of faith might be useful, here goes: http://www.seventhdaybaptist.org/7DB/Coven...SnID=2100082927
  8. Maybe you need to read the last articl LadyC. If the sentencing was justified why was the girl released??? If it was totally justified then they would not have released the teenager and would have stuck to the sentence. You should open your eyes to the racism that is in this world. What does refusing to see it make you???...Not a good thing!
