Had to walk out of a movie last night....bummer!!!
R.Brackett replied to DarkNebulaWelder's topic in General Discussion
I was feeling that way back in 1999. That year I had to walk out of more than I got to stay in! That's when I decided enough was enough and just quit "Vilewood" all together. -
What is that one issue that you really care about?

Yep, I can't disagree with that. It's on the parent's head to raise that young man right so he'll walk past the dirty magazine rack and install filters on the home computer. Freedom of speech and censorship cuts both ways. We take theirs away, they take ours away; it's the curse of living in a pluralistic society. If parents and the local Church did their jobs and stopped abdicating their child-raising responsibilities, many of our "societal ills" would vanish. But far too many parents are pursuing the "American dream" at the expense of their children, preferring to pawn them off on tired grandparents, hey, what else do they have to do, right, and it's free!, or daycare where the kids are exposed to who-knows-what. That irks me...if you can't afford to raise them, don't have them. Preaching to the choir here. -

Netanyahu sweeps Israel's Likud race
R.Brackett replied to nebula's topic in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
I hear he's Israels verson of Ronald Reagan. Hope he win the P.M back. He never would have given land for "peace" that's for sure. All you have to do is look at who the enemy DOESN'T want to win, and elect him. That would be Mr. Netanyahu. -
What is the one "VICE" you'd really like to kick?
R.Brackett replied to MeCajunboy's topic in General Discussion
Thank you for recognizing that. Hey, what's with the laughing emoticon? -
I & the Universe were in the Heart & Mind of God before the beginning of time.

Friendly's!!!! Dunkin Donuts!!!! Major Massachusetts flashbacks. My wife says answer honestly and post my "Ice Tea". I'm in denial as it's my source of caffeine (can't stand coffee..but donuts are a different story...I was a Cop you know). Do Emoticons count? I'm like Biblicist, I don't have any! -

Marnie, that's too much information for us faithful to our wives guys. But I'd still recommend the the .357 over the .32 . If Mike loves you, he'll buy it for you. -

Marnie: 85% of all child molesters view the junk. It will permenately change the way a young man views a woman (outside of Christ's redemptive work). She's reduced in his eyes and that reduction is taken into a marrage. You've got to admit that the erosion of the nuclear family is the primary factor in our growing crime rate. -
Texas Insists on Executing a Man the State Admits is Innocent

I wonder how many people on Death Row became motivated to seek Spiritual answers and received Christ as Lord & Savior as a result? -
What type of Relationship do YOU have with God?
R.Brackett replied to MeCajunboy's topic in General Discussion
Oh yes. This happens to me often, ever since I got save in '98. Funny, didn't happen that often but became a regulair thing after getting saved. Salvation isn't for the weak of heart. -

I voted Moral Issues although I feel Abortion is a Moral Issue that should be made a Criminal Issue. That's me though. Marnie I agree that government should in no way be a "moral judge" but I do think Laws reflecting Judao-Christian Values is going to benefit everyone. You wouldn't legalize drugs would you. Those laws could be considered "blue". -

Definately. This should be in everyone's top three. -

Well said by a true Christian "Washington Insider" Although outlawing things like Porn or other Sociatal Vices that "Don't hurt anyone" is a good idea. -
We are not commanded to do foot washings. That was a custom in Bible days. When Jesus washed the disciples feet, he was giving them a lesson on being a servant to others. When the Bible says women are to keep silent, it means they are not to be disruptive. All you seem to be telling me is that you don't interpret the Bible to require foot washings and don't interpret it to say women must be completely quiet in church. Those are interpretations, but you still believe the Bible is the innerant Word of God, so in my mind, you are a fundamentalist. YES!!!!!! I AM A FUNNYMENTALIST
