  1. @Isaiah53NIV I commend you for this, sister. I think it is wonderful that you are keeping these children in prayer. I praise God that He has revealed to you the truth about Halloween and you are refusing to honor its darkness. God bless you. You will be in my prayers.
  2. Yay! Because if you hadn't, I knew where it was and was gonna link you to it. lol
  3. @Abby-Joy Are you looking for your story complete with pictures from last year?
  4. @marvelloustime Do you mean in the comment section under the video at YouTube?
  5. Do you mean the videos section here at Worthy? Or at YouTube? I thought your friend might be able to bump it up from last year status to current October?
  6. @Abby-Joy Yes it is. I am re-posting it this year. Thank you so much for doing that for me with YouTube, sis! Ironically, I was just about to post my appreciation to you when I saw you were online. lol As always, the Lord has perfect timing! You friend did a great job of putting that video together! I loved the way she read my poem, too. I couldn't have done better. Please thank her for me. Sadly, I don't know how one goes about refreshing the upload and bringing it current. It is hard to find now being it was one year ago. If you know how or could maybe contact your friend? (If you're able to.) God bless you for the courageous stand you take against evil.
  7. My heart cries, "Come Lord Jesus!" As the hymn puts it... And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight, The clouds be rolled back as a scroll; The trumpet shall sound, and the Lord shall descend, Even so, it is well with my soul.
  8. @angels4u I'm with you, sister! One of my favorite songs. When we do see Him, I look forward to finally meeting you... along with @marvelloustime and all my other sisters and brothers from Worthy.
  9. Oh, the joy of the redeemed! "Angels long to look into these things." They cannot comprehend salvation for it was only offered to man.
  10. @marvelloustime Both videos...Tranquil thoughts of Heaven coupled with excellent scriptures. Thanks again.
  11. @Not me That's right! Thanks for the lovely reminder. Again, this brought to mind a scripture and a hymn. "Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister these things, which are reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you by the Holy ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels long to look into." (1 Peter 1:12) It seems the angels are fascinated by salvation. Yet it is something they can not comprehend since it was never offered to them. Only humans could be redeemed. A Song Holy Angels Cannot Sing Angels never knew the joy that is mine For the blood has never washed their sins away Though they sing in heaven there will come a time When silently they'll listen as I sing Amazing Grace Chorus- It's a song holy angels cannot sing Amazing Grace how sweet the sound It's a song holy angels cannot sing I once was lost but now I’m found Holy is the Lord the angels sing Before the throne of God continually For me to join their song it’ll be a natural thing They just won't know the words to Love Lifted Me
  12. Amen. To let Him shine through us (as vessels or clay pots.) To let the love of Christ flow out is the best way to reach them. I agree.
  13. Awww. Thanks for the kind comment. That is sweet of you. I recall singing it as a child at church. It would be interesting to trace the history of it, though... now that you mention it. I will look into that and post it in my "stories behind the hymns" thread.
  14. @Not me I know just what you mean. May I answer your question with a resounding "No! NOTHING more wonderful and glorious."? (Also, sooo important to me... the joy of unsaved loved ones coming to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.) But for ME (my life), I'd agree nothing tops that sacred, precious closeness with Him. His sweet fellowship and matchless presence!!! And how I long to one day hear Him say, as in Matthew 25:21- "His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord."
  15. @marvelloustime So very touched by this video! Brought me to tears. It took me away for a few minutes to the place I long to be. It brought me comfort and great anticipation. Thank you for posting it, sis.
  16. @Not me Praise the Lord! That immediately brought a scripture and an old hymn to mind! Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory" (1 Peter 1:8) Who remembers this one? Joy Unspeakable lyrics I have found His grace is all complete, He supplieth ev’ry need; While I sit and learn at Jesus’ feet, I am free, yes, free indeed. Refrain It is joy unspeakable and full of glory, Full of glory, full of glory, It is joy unspeakable and full of glory, Oh, the half has never yet been told. I have found the pleasure I once craved, It is joy and peace within; What a wondrous blessing! I am saved From the awful gulf of sin. Refrain I have found that hope so bright and clear, Living in the realm of grace; Oh, the Savior’s presence is so near, I can see His smiling face. Refrain I have found the joy no tongue can tell, How its waves of glory roll! It is like a great o’erflowing well, Springing up within my soul.
  17. I pray you are encouraged by this classic Petra song (from 1982.)
  18. "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." (1 Thess 5:18) And he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.” (Job 1:21)
  19. @BeauJangles Sounds a lot like me in my younger days. Have cut back quite a bit but still enjoy coffee (in moderation.)
  20. "For the LORD is good, and his faithful love endures forever; his faithfulness, through all generations." (Psalm 100:5)
