The word of God is fuel for our fire. If we neglect the word of God, the fire dims, and our path is shaded and dark. Let the word of God ignite our life!

Many times in Scripture we read the words "in Christ." We are 100% loved by God the Father because of the sacrifice of God the Son, and putting our faith in Christ as our redeemer. As a newborn christian we grow from a child onward to maturity as we feed on His word and allow the Holy Spirit to mold us into Christlikeness. It is a journey of growth till we get a glorified body at His coming. The growth process is advanced as we "seek" His will, and not our own. We will fail at times, but God is there to pick us up. Remember, it is God in you that is of any value. So, we haven't arrived to the 100% in ourselves, but "in Christ" we are 100%.

All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. There are many who are prejudice that attend church. Jesus looks on the inside, and only those with the Holy Spirit in them, are His children. Love is the evidence of the new birth. The color of skin, ethnic, etc. are all outward conditions. If Jesus is your Savior, walk as He walked................................FORGIVE!

On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand! (That includes myself)

We should be living for Jesus 365 days year. The religious celebrate Christmas and Easter with no mention of Christ............but plenty of booze and food and candy. To the world it is Santa Claus and Easter bunny time. I don't see anyone denying themselves, but what they can get as a present. I thought it was more blessed to give than to receive. The secular observance of Christmas and Easter deceives the lost to think they "are" christians, when they are not!

No one knows the day or the hour, so why the date calling? We should be doing the "Father's business" until His Son returns.

Every human was born from fleshly parents, the result a fleshly life. When a person becomes Born-again, the Father/Son/Holy Spirit give us a spiritual life. The first birth being fleshly will result in a physical death, because of sin death came also. The second birth is spiritual and will last forever, for we have been born of God. Once you are born-again, you can not be unborn. John 3:16 says "Eternal life"..................not "temporary life" based on what we do. It is what "Christ" did for us!
