To all concerned After being alerted by the accusatory post I reviewed my post quoted above and I admit that any reasonable person would be to the conclusion that the highlighted section was combative and judgmental toward Serventwayne. I wish to offer my apology to Serventwayne and all others who where offended by these words. While my intention was to motivate Serventwayne to reply and it was not my intention to accuse him of being a deceiver that does not excuse the wording. I admit I did not review this post before posting it and I got what I deserve. Sorry to all. Work in Progress Your post has brought back distant memories of a 6 year old boy listening to a radio program and realizing for the first time all the people he loved were going to die. That little boy was me. I remember turning around to see my mom washing up dishes and realizing she would die and I would be all alone in the world. It really did hit me in the pit of my stomach and pierced my heart. But one thing it did give me was perspective on just how unimportant the things of this world are. Different people come to this realization at different times in their lives and while it is not a pleasant experience I think the younger you find out the better. So now you must set your mind to the things that are really important but you must keep doing the mundane things of life. We must be ready to die today but plan as though we shall live 100 years. For we are both in this world but we must not be off this world. The Spirit I believe is working in you too this end by showing you your mortality. When we have this understanding we can see that most of the things people set their minds too is folly and vanity, most people are wasting their time building up treasures in this world, treasures that will never last and have no importance in eternity. So let the wisdom that you have received lead you away from being a product of this world and allow you to build up treasure that will never fade. I will deal with the sections of you reply that I can understand. In no way am I uptight I cannot see how you interpreted my post to indicate that I was. I think that The Creator does lead us to information/ new articles relevant to prophecy and we ourselves are attuned to possible information relevant to biblical prophecy. When the Creator Leads the information is important/relevant when we read something or hear something that we think is relevant it may or may not be relevant. This is how my first post should be dealt with. I do not know if it has relevance or not. You used the term "body of Christ" In will take this to mean the population of the world who believe they are Christian. No I do not believe the Followers of the Messiah are groping or in confusion and they have never been. The ones that are in a state of confusion or at an impasse are the deceived ones following after false saviors. could you quote the verse which states this? I would like to get understanding of it's context. For the rest of your post I found it very hard to understand your points? Did you know that this last century has been the quietest in terms of volcanic activity for thousands of years this has a great effect on the amount of partials in the upper atmosphere and temperatures. Did you know that 5% of the USA has been covered with tarmac over the last century? do you think this has any effect on weather? there is a lot more going on than they are revealing to us. hello One Accord Just because Martin Luther spoke against the corruption and false teachings of the catholic church does not necessarily mean He was a true Christian. The prince of this world (satan) used the catholic church to twist the faith by wrapping a lie in many truths but it was becoming too twisted and it was becoming very obvious to even simple people that it was an abomination. This reduced it's effectiveness in deceiving people and many where searching for the real truth. So satan needed another lie wrapped up in many truths so that people fleeing from one snare could be caught up in another (not so obvious) snare. So the daughter Harlot rebelled against the Mother Harlot in doing so people where fooled into thinking the daughter was good because she was against the mother but she also was Harlot but not as obvious as her mother. Hello OneAccord I do not know but because no one is caring to answer your question I may as well give you some speculation. It is not an answer or It may be an answer I'm not sure? Speculation 1) His sandals where carrying unholy dirt from outside the sacred ground occupied by God at that time therefore he was asked to remove them. Speculation 2) I think it was a requirement to remove shoes/sandals when going into the temple in the OT so I suppose anywhere where God is present in that form eg in the bush or in the Ark of the covenant required it. Don't they always bury people bare foot for a similar reason? Sorry I cannot provide you with a definite answer.
