Meanwhile, this is what I came across regarding Nimrod (a Cushite) as a first type of Antichrist: Nimrod's birthday was celebrated in ancient Rome (Saturnalia) on December 25. In Chaldee, native language of Nimrod, Saturn is spelled STUR. S = 60 T = 400 U = 6 R = 200 ------ 666 ------ In Islam, it is said that their Mahdi to come would be a Cushite.

The above prophecy could have dual application - that happened in the days of Daniel where monarchy existed, as well as in the future being a description for the ascendency of the Antichrist, namely someone not in line for succession or not eligible for a presidency? But during a crisis - maybe today's economic crisis he would get elected - by flattery and intrigue - or by promising "change" and charisma, respectively? Huh, anyone we know? Anyway, am speculating

Excellently researched, I would say. An interesting read that also left me without doubt that they existed and were of gigantic stature (as described in the OT). There's mention in the Bible that their bones would remain till today. Then remnants of them probably existed sometime after Noah's Flood in the form of what we in modern times term as Neanderthals whose DNA differed from humans. (Btw, Neanderthals are currently a cover feature story in the October issue of the National Geographic mag).

"The disappearance of Israel is an inevitable fact. It is an historical process in the region which will come to an end in several years," he said. Nasrallah said Mughniyeh's death in a car bombing earlier this month in Syria was a "pre-emptive" strike meant to set the stage for the assassination of more of Hizbullah's top leaders. "We consider Hajj Imad's assassination as a pre-emptive operation, not merely an act of revenge," the Shiite cleric added, using a title of respect for the slain commander reserved for Muslims who complete a pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia. According to Nasrallah, Hizbullah will not stand quiet following Mughniyeh's assassination. "There is no possibility that we will not respond to the murder of our loved and dear ones. We will not allow the enemy to continue and murder our commanders and dear ones." We can't equate the Israeli of today with the Israelites of ancient times because there are many Arabs who have been given citizenship of Israel and so are also called Israelis. They may also not be of the Judaism faith.

Islam is Satan's last trump card to wipe Israel off the map in order that Jesus could not come back to earth to set up the Millennium Kingdom. Mid trib all the way! In Jacob's Last 7 years, the first 3 1/2 years is called the Great Tribulation because Satan/AntiChrist is pursuing Christians, both Jews and Gentiles to slay them. The next 3 1/2 years is called the Wrath Of God or Jacob's Trouble because mid trib, the Christians will have been raptured before God starts to unleash or pour out His Wrath (which is on unbelievers left on earth so that His saints all "escape" His Wrath in the rapture) upon the earth. With the disappearance of all the Christians, Satan/AntiChrist next go after the Jews. Tribulation is experienced by believers/Christians while God's Wrath is only on unbelievers.

And God caused the worldwide flood in the days of Noah to destroy them all saved Noah's family because those sons of God were fallen angels that left their first estate to lust after women and their offspring were the result of the seeds of the devils and they grew up to be utterly evil. Only Noah's generation was not contaminated by the seeds of the devil so they were preserved to repropagate the earth.

2012 coincides with Revelation Chapter 12. The Mayan calendar (I once read that the Patriach Abraham's kins travelled to South America and invented that calendar) and the Chinese (they are descended from Joktan, a younger brother of Peleg, and are Semites of the tribe of Shem and they went East...all the way to China. See Genesis 10:30) calendar are divinely invented. The year 2012 of the Chinese calendar is the Year of the Dragon...which again coincides with Revelation Chapter 12 which talks about the Dragon being defeated by the archangel Michael and cast down to planet earth so that finally this time the Dragon or Satan cannot even travel to outta space but be confined to earth. Thus Satan will lose more of his power and on earth he is back to being a Serpent in Revelation Chapter 13 which coincides with the year 2013, the year of the Snake in the Chinese calendar.
