  1. thanks anyways
  2. most who are led by the holy spirit have, at least to some degree, the distinct feeling that time is short, and unprecedented events are going to begin transpiring on earth very soon. but what "it" is, most are unable to pinpoint. it's been my personal belief that the sixth seal of revelation is the horrible event which looms in the imminent future. about two months ago, i spontaneously began making electronic/trance music with a computer program (magix music maker 15). two months later i have just completed my third composition. before embarking on its construction, i asked god to help me make it especially moving, touching, and eye-opening. this would require a somewhat superb musical piece. now i am not saying this song is a mozart or something. in reality it really isn't that special in comparison to the other songs in the genre (emotional trance). but it is only my third composition, and i asked god to help me make it something special, and he has completely and utterly satisfied my request. here is the song. if you wish to use it as an evangelizing tool, as i am now doing (on facebook and such), then i encourage you to do so. Sixth Seal - Approaching The Inevitable here is the video presentation from the audio which is intermixed in the song. i encourage everyone to watch this as well, as it's a great and important message: The Sixth Seal Part 1 of 6 take care, james
  3. if it isn't a natural, spontaneous outbreak, then biblically it would not be "man made", but rather "fallen angel made", for we are told that satan is the "god of this world" in the scriptures. we are nearing the end of the age, and satan is of course aware of this reality, therefore it would not surprise me if this predicament has been initiated by him and the fallen angels in order to promote their sinister aspirations. indeed it's not anything we should be worrying about, but on the contrary, closing our eyes and minds entirely and labeling everything as a conspiracy theory is not a wise thing to do either. but time is very short my friends. we are currently in the "calm" before the storm, and this is in reality only the beginning for planet earth. this should just be further incentive to seek god, repent, mourn, wail, pray, intercede and just generally get our spiritual act together. i would be lying if i said i am doing this flawlessly. in fact, i am failing quite miserably. but nevertheless in my inner being it is something i strongly desire to do, because i know my redemption is very, very near now.
  4. there is no denying the doctrine. the ongoing and perpetual debate among many is not if the rapture will occur, but when. but it's beneficial to clear up a common misconception, which is that the great tribulation begins with only a few subtle undesirable events, such as the antichrist making his appearance. but the bible clearly says that the great tribulation not only ends in wrath, but begins with it as well. this wrath will come upon humanity as a "thief in the night", unexpectedly upon most humans. this is one of the inescapable doctrines of the scriptures. so if the great tribulation begins with wrath, and genuine children of god are "not destined for wrath" (1 thes 5:9), then they must be taken off of this planet before this cataclysmic period begins. so indeed, contrary to the common portrayals of this event, as depicted in the "left behind" series, the rapture will not take place out of the blue for no apparent reason. rather, the biblical rapture is a rescue, and those taken will make a last-minute escape from horrible calamities. so once this is understood, then the following scriptures speak for themselves: "Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued." daniel 12:1 "Your dead will live; Their corpses will rise. You who lie in the dust, awake and shout for joy, For your dew is as the dew of the dawn, And the earth will give birth to the departed spirits. Come, my people, enter into your rooms And close your doors behind you; Hide for a little while Until indignation runs its course. For behold, the LORD is about to come out from His place To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; And the earth will reveal her bloodshed And will no longer cover her slain." isaiah 26:19 "So it was in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. But on the day when Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed all of them. It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed." -Jesus in Luke 17:30 "Constantly be on your guard so that your hearts will not be loaded down with self-indulgence, drunkenness, and the worries of this life, or that day will take you by surprise. For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth. Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man." luke 21:35-36 "Because you have obeyed my command to endure, I will keep you from the hour of testing that is coming to the whole world to test those living on the earth." revelation 3:10 so indeed, if business is going to be as usual until the "time of testing" begins, then we must be very close, for if we continue on with the current trend, worldly conditions will soon be far from normal.
  5. its just a theory. the forum member "man" asked me the same question, only about the holy spirit. what does the bible say jesus of nazareth is? i think im going to bow out of these threads for a while. constantly defending my faith/doctrines/beliefs can get quite tiring. besides, my intention was just to post this information. those who are meant to take heed of this information, will. this thread is for those.
  6. scientists have proven that we are heading towards these cataclysms rather soon. the governments are going to take necessary precautions, whether they believe in a god or not.
  7. that's the idea. And once all the believers are caught up with the Lord, will they then wage war against satan and his demons? Will Christ be in some sort of mother ship? What kind of weapons will they use against the devil?
  8. that's the idea.
  9. How long will this take? They're gonna have to pick up a lot of people. How will the angels know which ones to pick up? well if paul was describing this event in thesselonians, then it will for the most part happen in the "twinkling of an eye". so i'm assuming that the resurrection of the dead, transformation of our bodies into immortal ones, and us being "caught up in the clouds" to meet jesus in the air will all take place in very rapid fashion. also, due to the fact that there are probably many angels, this gathering of believers could all take place simultaneously. the angels would know which ones to collect because first of all, jesus would be sending his angels with a "trumpet blast", so they would be instructed directly from jesus himself. you also have to keep in mind that angels are far more intelligent creatures than humans. indeed, scripture says that satan and his fallen angels are capable of "masquerading as angels of light". all satan knows how to do is conjure counterfeits of genuine heavenly things, so this is a very real possibility...one that i believe may be right around the corner. the bible says we need to always "test the spirits" and see if they're from god. spiritual discernment will be key if a scenario like this were to take place. this is why we need to be in god and the word like never before, because i truly believe we are about to enter some deceiving times.
  10. it's funny, because i've never enjoyed sci-fi. i think its because i have to deal with the predisposed prejudices people have that the media feeds them, in arguments and debates, so i naturally have a grudge against the sources of their "information". the media truly is deceiving people in this area. and about there being an alien deception in the future, well, it's already underway. look at all of the new age cults and "channelers" who believe they have contacted peaceful, benevolent alien species with loving intentions. i can tell you right now that these beings are not participating in this deception for the benefit of humanity, but for theirs alone. i believe there's a good possibility that these "peaceful" and "harmonious" aliens will pose as our saviors amidst a future global crisis and perform "miracles" and "signs" to, "if possible, deceive even the elect". could you please elaborate? now i feel like you're arguing for the sake of arguing.
  11. i over exaggerated of course, but there are many people who have beliefs that aren't too far off. they won't openly admit it, but subconsciously they have created their own biblical reality. like i said before, i knew i would be accused of such things before i posted the content. i said it once and i guess i will have to say it again...im not part of a cult. god knows this and to be honest, that's really all that matters to me. i don't feel compelled to convince people otherwise. i don't exactly know what you're asking. the job of god's angels is to carry out the will of god, on earth and in the heavens. what these things consist of are not clear, but we do know that one of their jobs is to protect believers. the bible also makes it clear that they are able to influence the governments of society according to god's will. let's also remember that the earth is ruled by satan and the fallen angels. this planet is not particularly friendly to them. they would therefore carry out their tasks and depart into the heavens with little delay. for the most part, though, this question is beyond our ability to answer.
  12. scripture says that my scenario makes perfect sense. the bible, when taken in its entirety, leaves no other interpretation regarding this matter. we need to remember that we are in the apostate days, where biblical truths are exchanged for those that make people feel good and comfortable. perhaps people don't want to be exposed to these biblical realities because they're just too awkward, uncomfortable, and spooky. seems we would rather believe god as some kind of santa claus and his angels as little cute children with wings and harps in a cotton-candy dandy world, regardless if it completely contradicts scripture. all of the questions you have are very good. the fact that you're pondering these is proof that the holy spirit, if indeed he is in you, is working his magic. i don't believe god is an alien. i think i've made that clear. sure, jesus, the angels and god himself may be 'alien' to humanity in a sense... that's exactly what i did in my original post. i incorporated many passages from scripture, then interpreted these in my "own words." all i did was attempt to illuminate the true meanings of the texts. god has been the one who has brought me knowledge and truth regarding this matter. i can't say this enough. this revelation is from god and god alone. the way i see it now is that the people who aren't aware of the true ufo/angelic reality are the ones "believing a lie" and being deceived. ponder this, if you will: according to the bible, satan is the king of this world (not to mention "prince and power of the air"). he influences essentially every aspect of society, including the governments of the world. suppose that this ufo phenomena is genuine and involves god's angels. would he not attempt to keep this information from the public? would he not desire to keep humanity in ignorance of the angelic reality?
  13. again, man, i ask: what does scripture say the holy spirit is? and to Reuben Hick: there's a reason why i stated that my intention is not to "debate these things."
  14. some of the posters on this forum have made it clear that they are skeptical of some of the doctrines i believe, or even if i am a christian at all. i was prepared for these things before i even posted the content. what does scripture say the holy spirit is? that is my answer. also, for the record, the holy spirit is the one who has helped me reach this revelation.
  15. here is another picture of the hubble deep field, which is the furthest we've ever seen into our universe. again, keep in mind that each of the dots, streaks and smears are GALAXIES. i don't know about the rest of you, but it soon becomes clear to me why we need to be like "little children" if we want to enter the kingdom of heaven... humanoid
  16. i try to refrain from using the word 'spaceships' due to how pepostrous it sounds. but yes, i believe the bible makes it clear that jesus and his angels will be returning in an army of advanced technology. one of the reasons for this, of course, is because they will have to fight in the battle of armageddon. Would you mind sharing this information? i tried my best at "sharing this information" in my initial post. however, i admit it is just the tip of the iceberg. if you are truly interested in learning more, there are plenty of sources online... humanoid
  17. god most certainly doesnt need to use technology. apparently though he may do so if he wants (for example, "the transfiguration"). god can most certainly move a star if he wants. "with god anything is possible". however, if you read the account of this "moving star", it is clearly describing advanced technology being used by the angels, who later administered various messages (to joseph, for example). these patterns are present throughout the bible. yes, an enormous and exciting revelation that has taken my faith and relationship with god to new heights. this has nothing to do with the book "chariots of the gods". i do not believe god is an alien. that is pepostrous. time is subjective to the universe, and because god exists outside of time, he exists outside of the universe. however, like i mentioned earlier, the bible conveys that its possible he can enter into it and be a part of it as he so desires. see reply above. i try to refrain from using the word 'spaceships' due to how pepostrous it sounds. but yes, i believe the bible makes it clear that jesus and his angels will be returning in an army of advanced technology. one of the reasons for this, of course, is because they will have to fight in the battle of armageddon. btw, for those of you who haven't seen the picture of the hubble deep field, it's truly remarkable. each of the objects are GALAXIES, each with millions of stars and solar systems of their own. humanoid
  18. disclaimer: discussion, curiosity, interest or beliefs regarding these matters does not necessarily make anyone un-christian, un-spiritual or a "new ager". this is might be long, so be prepared... i have personally studied the ufo phenomena on an immense level for some time. without going into any of the details, it is my belief that the ufo phenomena is genuine and involves the presence of physical advanced technology piloted by physical beings. from a biblical standpoint, there are at least two beings involved with this phenomena: satan's fallen angels and god's angels. there are many instances where prophets describe future events and the technology that associates with the visions. their descriptions, of course, were limited due to the fact that they were forced to compare these unknown technologies with things existing in their day. in most cases, these "clouds", "chariots", "horses" and so forth are not symbolic (such as the 'four horses' of revelation), but are the prophets' descriptions of literal technologies not known to them. these were experienced either through visions, or in many cases first-hand accounts of advanced technology being utilized by god's angels (the reason why angels have been depicted by the ancients having wings is because they did not know how they came from heaven, so they just drew wings on them). my intention with this thread is not to debate these things, but rather to present a belief that many christians, such as myself, have. due to the fact that i'm not able to post any links, it may be harder to convey these things, but i will attempt to let scripture speak for itself. the "kingdom of heaven" is the physical universe we live in, which is inhabited by physical beings. (isiah 65) "For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind." god will not only create a new earth, but a new universe as well; or in this context, possibly more. it has been reported by scientists that a second universe has been discovered. this is truly unfathomable, and likewise, so the kingdom of heaven is incomprehendable and infinite. once the new universe is cleansed from the sinful beings, like satan and his fallen angels, god's original plan for humanity will be able to begin. (Jno 8:23) "And Jesus was saying to them, "You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world." jesus is stating that this planet of sin is not his home; his home is up in the high reaches of the universe. (luke 24:39) "See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have." jesus resurrected into an immortal, physical body just like ours, only of course with eternal, heavenly properties and capabilities. this makes it clear that, although most likely elsewhere as well, jesus exists in the physical universe and, according to him, is busy "preparing a place" for us right now in the physical heavenly realms. (phillipians 3:21) "...who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself." believers in christ will be transformed into a physical body of "glory" like that of jesus. we will need an eternal physical body for an eternal physical heaven. (corinthians 2:9) "As it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." here we have confirmation that the glorious mysteries of the heavens that will soon be revealed to all believers are not capable of being fathomed by our current human brains. once we are transformed into our eternal bodies, we will be able to experience and enjoy all that the distant cosmos has to offer. (acts 1:9)
  19. i dont exactly know what you're implying, but from the look of the sarcastic smiley, it doesnt have a good chance of being respectful. (revelationt 8:11) "The name of the star is called Wormwood; and a third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter." i am not trying to figure out how things are going to happen out of pure joy and pleasure. the realities which i have been exposed to have been far from pleasurable and happy. and it is indeed important to try and figure out how things are going to happen. sure, we will not be able to know the "day or the hour", but if we are watching, like jesus instructed all of his believers to do, we will be able to know the season. jesus was mad at the pharisee hypocrites who could discern the weather patterns, but not the time of his first coming. how much more should be be trying to discern the times of his second coming? anyways, i made this thread knowing i would be condescended upon by many. if this post results in me not being the most popular member on a christian board, then so be it. you don't do things like this for selfish reasons, but rather out of sincerity and love for others. my intention is to warn my fellow believers...and like chuck missler always says, "dont just listen to me, do some homework yourself". humanoid
  20. i would first like to clarify regarding the significance of the 2012 winter solstice is that these cataclysms will not occur only on this date, but will most likely begin transpiring years before. one of the great benefits i have noticed of being a believer and having the help of the holy spirit is that of discernment. without it, i would be gullible and believe everything satan and the world throw my way. the amount of dis-information out there is truly inconceivable and without god i would not have done this research in an effective or intelligent manner. and as i believe i conveyed in my initial post with the use of scripture, the bible is the foundation. i would also like to say that having beliefs about these various controversial subjects does not make me "un-christian" or un-spritual in any way, contrary to what popular belief may hold. the people who are so apparently convinced that planet x is a "hoax" don't realize that their statement is just as pepostrous as saying that it surely does exist. i don't really even want to argue about whether or not planet-x is genuine or not, as this is not the point of this thread. thanks, but i already have a relationship with jesus christ. as a matter of fact, it is my belief that out of his grace, he is the one who has opened my eyes to these things. one of the unfortunate prejudices regarding these subjects is that they are either for the close minded, crazy, "new agers" or cults. this, of course, is most likely the case with many of the people who believe in them. however, it is with great honor and joy to inform you that i don't belong to any "new age" cult, but rather the cult of the body of christ. also, there are apparently other brothers and sisters around the world who are being led by the holy spirit to the same conclusions as mine:
  21. the "day of the lord" and the end of the age is fast approaching... ive been doing some research in various subjects and how these may relate to bible prophecy. when i began doing heavy research, i was quite skeptical of most of the material being exposed and additionally, felt overwhelmed and confused. however, as i progressed, the puzzle pieces that were fitting together were too astonishing too ignore. one of the things the holy spirit does is inform believers of what is going to happen in the future. i truly believe god has been directing my steps in this process and through his grace, help me see these things which will come to pass shortly. there are many ancient calendars from civilizations that are extremely advanced astronomically, of course one of these being the infamous myan calendar. the myans were apparently obsessed with earthly and cosmic cycles and were able to predict or forecast events with amazing accuracy. contrary to what most people think, these civilizations did not forecast the end of the world, but rather the end of an age. this transition however would involve cataclysmic events during our passing through what scientists refer to today as the "dark rift" *edit links* the bible, as well as other various ancient civilizations such as the myans, also makes it clear that there will be an end to this age: (matthew 24:3) "As he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came to him privately and said,
  22. this is what i believe as well. noah did some disappointing things if i recall, but he was considered "blameless" because of his perseverance of faith. humanoid
  23. Sorry to disagree, humanoid, that verse has nothing to do with satan entering the throne room, and for that matter the story of Job has nothing to do with the throne room either. There is a big difference between being in the heavenlies and being in the holy of holies. Sorry, David, but the answer to the name of this thread, is a big fat NO.... these verses tell me that satan at least has permission to be near the throne, close enough to bring his accusations to god on a somewhat personal level. let's remember that satan cant do anything without god's consent. its not like this is some kind of mischievous act that catches god off guard. humanoid
  24. indeed. (revelation 12:10) "Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night." it wont be for long, though. the coming cosmic battle will put an end to his daily accusations. cheers
  25. i think it's in the book of romans that states something along the lines of faith being "the hope for things not yet seen". but the thing is that we have indeed seen these "things". god reveals himself to his believers. he is the one who is faithful, it is just our job to recognize that these beautiful, gracious and loving revelations are from him and him alone.
