  1. Hi TT, I sent this to you in a pm, but I wanted to post it here, as well, in hopes that someone else might benefit from it.... I don't have all that much to say in response except that you are loved, by me, by some wonderful people here at Worthy (like those above), and most importantly, by God. Even if everyone else in the world were to reject you, know that God loves you unconditionally. No mere circumstance, no matter how big it may seem, can stop God from loving you. When He loves, He ALWAYS loves. And remember, we serve a BIG God. In the Bible, even David felt the way that you are feeling right now; he said, "When You said, 'Seek My face,' My heart said to You, 'Your face, LORD, I will seek.' Do not hide Your face from me; Do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; Do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the LORD will take care of me." David was seeking God, and he felt like God had forsaken him; yet, despite how he felt, he said that when he was forsaken by those closest to him, the Lord would take care of Him. I encourage you to cast your cares upon the Lord. The Bible promises that He CARES for you; if he cares for you, then He will take care of you and your problems. I pray for you every day. Know that you are loved. Hugs. Love, Rudy
  2. Hi Fez, On behalf of my family -- We saw Faith Like Potatoes a few weeks ago, and we were very encouraged. (It has now become our favorite movie!) We watched the whole thing through and were delighted to find a documentary (special features) of the real Angus Buchan and his ongoing work! Words can't describe how much his story has blessed and challenged us. I agree with Poet: you are so blessed to know Angus! (And thanks for linking to those pictures -- they're awesome!) May God bless you! Rudy
  3. Well, I really can't do the story justice, but I'll try to tell it... A woman named Judith was single for a good portion of her life. As she approached her mid-forties, she started to worry, because she wasn
  4. Hi mekeelin_ujohn, I just wanted to say that you are NOT alone! I think there are numerous reasons for wearing a mask, but the biggest problem is FEAR; you don't like where you are, so you hide the real you so that no one can see what's behind it. I know because I go through it, too -- we ALL do. The thing to remember is that you CAN change. You can take off the mask; you can't do it alone, but you can do it with God's help and our prayers. I would suggest that you make a list of whatever you see in you that you know needs changing -- those things that you don't want anyone to see -- and pick one to work on over a specified amount of time, praying everyday that God would strengthen you to overcome these things. I know a song that says To anyone who hides behind a smile To anyone who hides the pain inside To anyone who's ever made a big mistake We've all been there so don't be shamed Come out and join the rest of us You've been alone for way to long You don't have to hide You don't have to face this on your own You don't have to hide anymore "For I know the plans I have for you, Plans to prosper you and not to harm you To give you a future and a hope." ~ God
  5. Hi all, My sister found this amazing bit of a message by Louie Giglio about Laminin. For those of you who don't know what that is, Loui Giglio explains it in the most fascinating way. This is a must see! My family was wowed! This is the GodTube link.
