  1. I read Bible reading challenge here. So I was wondering how many times have I finished bible completely? Honestly, I could hardly count ONCE. I have been Christian for more than 12 years now. Please share your experience in the POLL. Thanks. (I hope this poll is not a repost.)
  2. I too did not get your point. please share it in detail.
  3. Very Interesting. I guess Fasting has more advantages than we think.
  4. Thank you for the reply. It really helped to understand the nature of 'calling'. I realized John 1 talks about Andrew and Simon going to meet Jesus after John Baptist's proclamation of Jesus being Messiah. Matthew 4, which I am studying right now, talks about Jesus calling four disciples after John the Baptist was put in the prison. This did clear some questions I had. Thanks.
  5. I am doing my Quite Time on Matthew right now. And its been wonderful time. I like to digg into the Words of God. I am recently studying on "Calling of First Four Disciples" in Mat 4:18-22. It is a small passage of Matthew. But its pretty fascinating. However, I had some questions about this passage. As, I compare this passage with Luke 5:1-11, John 1:35-42. It seems little confusing to know how Jesus called Andrew, Simon, John & James. Can somebody explain more How and where Jesus called his first Four Disciples? I am getting some idea about it. Here are the verses. Mat 4:18-22: 18 And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. 19 Then He said to them,
  6. I think Suffering is direct result of Sin. I really don't completely understand why innocent people suffer, while wicked go unpunished. Book of Habakkuk really helped me with this issue. I would highly recommend to read this book.
  7. I have had first lesson. Also have a Study Guide. Though, It was good. Couldn't continue it for some personal reasons. Would recommend.
