God bless everyone,

To be honest, there is not a whole lot about me personally that I want to share other than what I put into topics and posts. I'd rather people see Christ in me for He is our teacher. Jesus couldn't perform many miracles in Nazareth because people refused to know Him as any one other than Joseph's son. The people I am around day to day keep me locked in a box they can identify and predict. By refusing to reliquinsh that false sense of control they think they have over me, God is missed. I would not lay anything before us that might take our eyes off of Christ. John 3:30 says it perfectly to me: "He must become greater, I must become less."

But, I judge and box others in, as well as myself. God is always reminding me of how I judge, too. Despite my pride, despite my fears, I would have God known, not me. I would see the beautiful reflection of God in others, too. Jesus is clearing my vision. I have a long way to go though.

I am not afraid of people questioning anything I've written, and I welcome people pointing out any hypocrisies they may see in my posts, or anything biblical that can point to my error. I'm still human but I can't fix what I can't see. I'll need ya'lls help with that (oops! gave away I'm from the south?)I want to learn. I want to know what I believe. I want to grow in the fullness of Christ. Challenge me. Jesus is my teacher and I know He's here to help all of us grow in knowledge and understanding. There is nothing that can be said to me that I cannot take to God for understanding. And I ask that all of you do the same. Don't take my words as truth-let the Holy Spirit teach you.

I will not pretend to be an expert on anything. I will do my best to reference any thing that requires it, but if I forget, please let me know. If you feel I'm being judgemental, let me know. I'm just a woman wanting very much to be just like Jesus and to use His gifts to me for His glory and the edification and instruction and peace for all.
