There is absolutely no question in my mind about if a Christian can backslide, we know that any Christian can backslide, terribly backslide, even completely and totally backslide, turning away from Christ to serve self again! we must all know this that is possiable for anyone to return to serve self and to slide away back out into the world.. The bible tells us bluntly that when a person goes backward from God that they become filled with their old ways. did you know that the Lord God chastises those he loves ..that man might be brought back to the fowl of God , and this is for man benifit that he might be a partaker of the glory of God for his or her life.. the backslider at heart will be filled with his or her old way. leaving God returns us to the carnal way of doing and things again and separate us from the blessings of God.. what is the worse things a person that has went back and away from God can do? staying away would be the correct answer to this question..what causes people to turn away from God? here are some reason.. not reading and praying and quieting having communications with brothers and sister... not being involved in Godly things.. getting angry and staying mad where someone has offended you for some reason.. there is a number of things that people fall prey to and become backsliden...

i might be wrong but i am thinking that most canidates that are running are running for one main reason power.... and trust me that want fix our goverment and its problems......

Its a forum, not a pulpit. You stand on equal footing with your brothers and sisters in Christ. I have not agreed with many of your thoughts so far. But as my sibling in Christ, you have my love. I want to be a big happy family too. God's children are many and they are diverse. We should all worship our Lord, in that there is no doubt. Believe Down threw the ages we find that man history of beliefs has been in something, even coming to worship the sun the moon and the stars, and in India they are given to worship cows, Man in his quest to worship something, has developed something to worship, something to call his God ..but we all know or should no that some things that man has chosen to worship is false Gods' made up from man imagination..it seem to me that man in general wanted to worship something , so he chose what he thought was powerful like the sun or moon, and declared it some kind of God, The American Indians worship what they call the great white spirit, even in those days of the Indians, somehow they new they was something greater that had made the earth , it was knowledge to them that something had to make them and was greater than they were, evolution teaches that man evolved and sprang from a lower form of primate like a monkey or something, common sense would have to take affect in people minds that the big bang theory just don't hold up in its argument. Everyone believes in something whether they admit it or not. The most practical belief is in the lord God of the Holy Bible it explains man origin and even who formed the earth , note it don't give the formula or go into detain just how the earth was formed, but that it was formed and it gives the creator name the lord God of heaven, now man can believe what he wants to but mind you he will suffer if he don't believe the truth, because the Holy Bible describes what man should believe in and that is God and God alone.. No matter who don't believe this still don't alter the truth or make the truth of none affect... If you wanted too you could worship a turnip and call a turnip your God, but believe this a turnip is no God nor is the Sun or Moon, God is described as being a spirit and those that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth... Could you describe what a spirit is? You might try but I would be confident that you could not describe it to the direct meaning, No man has ever seen or looked directly at God , this is recorded the Bible, Moses got to see the hinder part of God and his face glowed with brightness, that he has to have a cloak put over his head to confront the people. This should show you just how powerful God is ... The Bible refers to him as the great I AM.... and that says it all.. It a shame that some would not believe in God they chose to believe in absolutely nothing, and nothing or reward will they get at the end of their days,.. The word of God says those that believe shall have eternal life and those that don't believe are already condemned their own souls to and eternal hell.. Did you even notice how offensive people get that don't believe or acknowledge God .. It as if they have a inward hate boiling in their hearts, not just for God alone but those that chose to believe.. It's a shame that God has so left a record of his the Holy bible which is the word f the holy God and yet man is resistance to believe in and unwilling to just believe, and this is not so hard for any human being is to believe in their hearts in the living and holy and loving and gracious God that would have that all men be saved and forgiven . So I ask you dear reader what do you really believe in God or nothing?....

the main command of the lord is this about worship..the lord must be worshiped in spirit and in truth... this is not at all hard to understand.. some people go to church to be seen, and to be a little religious on Sunday. but some goes for the right reason and that is to worship .. they don't care who there and they never went to be seen but with only one reason and , this should be the only reason , there is no other reason to go for but to worship, let each of us know this and understand this so we know it in heart , and let us go for this reason and no other reason.... I made people mad on here about my conviction about how God is to be worship .. it seem modern theology has in bedded itself in church and has weaken the reason of worship, let us think some on worship ..what does worship mean? well i am a country man and with little knowledge of a lot of things, but worship mean to praise and lift up and magnify God and our lord Jesus Christ...if you are reading this you will have to agree that this is the one and only reason we go to church for is to worship, secondly is to hear the word, third is to pray for lost souls, and lastly fellowship...anything else is secondary and is of no real sufficient good really but to worship, we can all agree with this post and it is centered around worship and this is the topic.. i want each of you to love me i know i am not a popular preacher and i"m plain as corn bread , but it means so much for me to be accepted here that we all might get along.. i beg for you love in Christ i want to be a helper to my brother and sisters, and i need your prayers. all my preaching days i have desperately tried my best to handle God word correctly . to be humble and i think we all want to be accepted and loved, even the most noble riches person on earth desires to be love, and the beger and the bum on the street seek someone to love them , the little children that are abused they seek someone to love them . we are all after the same things the love of God and the love of God people.. if i have hurt someone feeling on here please forgive me .. let us all become as one big happy bunch of worshipers, i am hungry for God people to love me , for what i am and old ragged aged preacher yes i have failed God and been down and then up but i have never stopped loving people ... and tonight i call out to each of you to worship God when you go to church lift him up for he too wants us to love him in worship and praise .. could we all worship him in spirit and in truth ? yes we can .... mountain preacher says God is love and love is God... bless these words in JESUS name

well a war is made on a strong defence and the Gospel defends it self, the truths of the lord will be true no matter what you or i thinks he will remain a keeper of truth to the rest of eternity, you can't destroys the truth , you can reject it and split hell wide open, or you can wise up and accept what the Gospel say and be a real man and a true believer, or you can waist you whole life making fun of a book that most likely you have never read to see if its truth or not, it matter not what you think and what you tell others about the lord and his word, the word don't have to have me or you to defend it , it will defend it self, you anc take a Bible and burn it to ashes but you cannot destroy the truth that men has hide in thier souls, I being a called minister don't have to defend it , but i do have to preach it if i am to please the lord, if you on here and you and Atheist and you think to yourself that your going something to abolish the Gospel think again your wasting you ever loving time..you might be able to take a few people to hell with you on your choise of unbelieving the gospel but that all you do you want be able to destroy the truth of the Gospel. so if i was you i take a different stand and instead of trying to convince people that there is not a God take a wiser choise and believe the truth , because the Gospel says that truth set men free....don't be bound to your stupid carnal doughts believe and accept God for what he is the almighty great I Am...

how often do we find ourselves callling out to God when the chips are down, when all else fails where do we turn but to our lord? he is alway willing to listen no matter how sorry a lot we are, when earnest pleas are made from the real inward heart God will hear from heaven, when things are going well in each of our lives and the winds of life are gently blowing , we sometime forget God and take up any direction that our old sinful nature would lead us, never thinking to pray or even giving thanks for our daily food, how important is a prayer to the lord Jesus Christ,? one thing we all just have to know is this , that God cannot help us in any matter less we ask, and if we fail to ask we are bound to recieve no help at all, often God is used like a spare tire only when our spirtual life has went flat and we are on the ground , and the ruts of live has us bottom out , and then we look back to zion from which our strength and help lies and threw desperation we then call most earnest for the lord help and refuge...but these positons in our lives should not be as we have describe we should at all points be up in our spirtual walk and never ever use the lord as a spare tire ....... preacher777

dieing is a scary thing to any human being and is a natural fear, no one has ever come back after dieing at least in our time to tell of its experance, the bible quotes death in a christian as sleep, your not afraid of going to sleep are you? so don't fear going to sleep in death , and when this happen to you and you have put your confidence in Jesus Christ and are upright with him death to you will simply be going to sleep to this world and wakeing up in the eternal home in heaven. perfect love casteth out all fear....
