I have decided ti create and index of topic for this section. It will be small at first, since I am very slow going on this project, but hopefully I can grow it with time. Here the topics will be listed, in alphabetical order with no suggestion of any topic being more important than another. As I grow this index, I will add topics into this first post of this thread. As entries are added, they will not only be added to this list, but a notification will me made at what is the end of this thread, at the time that post is added. The purpose of that, is to serve as notice that can be seen more readily by those following the thread, and perhaps in other places on the site, where such things get updated. Following begins the topics: Adoption Faith Grace Tithing Trinity

I'm asking you, do you believe that Jesus and all the apostles including Paul, believed in the trinity as formulated in 381 AD (by man not all of the same opinion), which became the new Doctrine of the Catholic church more then 300 years after Jesus went to sit next to God, his father in heaven? After reading my bibles (French and English in many bias and non bias translations) I found the real truth! I had to unlearn what I was told by the Catholic church first, and then as a protestant trinitarian again. Now my brother, tel me, do you believe that Doctrine 3 in 1 / 1 in 3 (incompressible) as being the word of God, really?

I would like to share a statement of Faith that I fully affirm and that I think is very close to the one on this forum. ============================================= I believe in God, the almighty creator of heaven and earth. I believe in the triunity of God. We believe that God is eternally One, and also eternally the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit — the three being distinct, but not separate. Each Person of the Godhead coexists from everlasting to everlasting. I believe in the Messiah, Jesus, God’s only begotten son, God come in the flesh. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate. He was crucified, died and buried. On the third day, He rose again. Soon afterward He ascended into heaven. Now He is seated at the right hand of the Father and He will return to judge both the living and the dead and reign for evermore. I believe all mankind are sinful and are therefore subject to God’s wrath and condemnation. I believe that everyone is in need of God’s salvation. Mankind is absolutely unable to fulfill the heavy demands of God’s righteousness, holiness and glory. Therefore, God, in sending His Only Begotten Son, has accomplished redemption for us through the shedding of Jesus’ blood. Because of His Son’s death, God has forgiven us of our sins, reconciled us to Himself, and justified us by making Him our righteousness. I believe that salvation is a gift received by faith alone, in Messiah alone, and is expressed in the individual’s recognition and repentance of sin, and the acceptance of the risen Messiah as Saviour, Lord and God. I believe in the supreme Lordship of Jesus Christ, before whom every knee in heaven and on earth will bow. And that there is no other name under Heaven by which we can approach the holy throne of God. Jesus Christ is the one and only mediator between God and man. I believe in the ongoing work of sanctification by the Holy Spirit after redemption for the purpose of producing life changing fruit — love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and self-control. I believe that the 66 books of the Canon, from Genesis to Revelation are the exhaustive, inerrant and inspired word of God. ============================================================== If there are people here who would like to discuss one or more of those statements of affirmation - I would be happy to join in. in Christ, Bob
